Last sunday we had our kick-off at The Lighthouse Ede. When you're starting all over you suspect the first few meetings you'll be actually preaching to an audience made-up out of your wife and kids only. Well, because it was a try-out meeting we didn't actually preach but briefly shared the vision for The Lighthouse. Briefly because most present I already shared the vision with earlier that month. We were gathered only 5 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kids, but that still was more then we were expecting for a try-out that was barely anounced. We had a good soundcheck testing all the new musical equipment that actually kinda ended up being a whole worshipsession already, then we shared the vision, had communion, we ate cake and then we worshipped the Lord for about an hour.
After that we had fellowship and we put on an older sermon I once did on the screen for those that wanted to hear a word.
All in all it was a nice first meeting. Next week we'll have Fellowshipday which we do once a month, so no regular service.
