A blessed new day with / in HIM !!
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. ( Psalms 84:5-7)
This valley of Baca is like an arid desert place where you find yourself stranded. You can get a shovel and begin to dig, or blame God for these circumstances and remain discouraged. However if you keep digging down deep, you will tap into that vein of water from which a bubbling stream will arise and never run dry. See Jesus high and lifted up in your valley of tears right now. Every situation God sends to you is either a stumbling block or a stepping stone.
God will turn your weeping valley into a well. I love this part of the verse: 'Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools'. As they pass through the Valley of Weeping, all the water they have is tears, there was no fountains, there was no pools, there was no oasis, but by faith they make God their Fountain - they drink of God! There was no misery too great, there was no ground too barren that couldn't become a well of comfort to them because they were feeding upon the Living Bread, they were drinking at the Fountain Head. The most gloomy situation became the most bright, the most hopeful, because through their wilderness they made it, by faith, a valley of springs. When God directs you down a road, it's not a dead end! He will make the very mountains before you stepping stones for you to get to your destination! You are going from strength to strength!
Out of my favorite parts of God's word is when it says, "And it came to pass!" Your troubles and valleys are only for a moment working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. You may be feeling like Naomi right now when she changed her name to Mara for she felt the Almighty had dealt very bitterly with her. I say to you right now, Do not set down roots in your valley of Baca. Do not get comfortable there! God has destined you for greater and you are only passing through. While traveling through your valley of Baca, remember the Promises of God, the Providence of God, the Presence of God, and the Power of God. There is a well of comfort for you in this dry and barren place. Dig deep! Remember in order to find diamonds, you have to dig deep!
Your tears are never shed in vain. For you can draw them from your well of Experience to soothe another’s pain. I hear these words so boldly proceed from the Father's throne right now, “PASSING THROUGH” the Valley of Baca, You will find many foot prints in the sand, but know that every step is touched by the Master's Hands!
