CORONA & GOD
How is God involve in all these? Some people are using this epidemic to support their view that there is no God and if according to them there is God, he is not a loving God if not he would have stopped Corona from infecting and killing people.
On the other hand there are others who are claiming that Corona is a punishment from God because of the sin of the whole world.
From my study of the Bible I understand that the God of the Bible loves the whole world. The world is his creation. He loves the whole world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believe in him will not perish but have the gift of everlasting life.
Jesus came not to condemn the world, but he came so that through him the world can be saved. Therefore Corona is not from God to infect and to kill people. Corona virus came as a result of human greed and selfishness, as a result of rejecting God by not caring for each other and the world that God created. Corona is the result of the work of people that have kicked God out of life and society. When we reject God, his love and his plan for humankind, we run into big social, economical and political problems. This is the time to reflect on life and the purpose of life. We are here to take care of what God created, our beautiful world, nature, our neighbours, families, co-workers, strangers etc.
We are here for a very short time, so lets use every opportunity to follow Jesus in sharing the love of God with one another.
Together we can stop the spread of this deadly virus by taking all necessary social, spiritual, physical and economic precautions needed. Yes we can!
