This page chronicles the journey of the Divine Mercy in this country, The Netherlands. Guided by the spirit of Sta. Faustina, the Apostle of Mercy, we testify and share the joy of trusting in the Merciful Jesus. With the inspiration of the late Divine Mercy Pope John Paul II quoted :

" I wish solemnly to entrust the world to Divine Mercy. I do so with the burning desire that the message of

God's Merciful Love, proclaimed here through St. Faustina, may be made known to all the peoples of the earth ."

The Significance of
Divine Mercy Sunday

Divine Mercy feast ranks highest among all the elements of The Divine Mercy devotion revealed to St. Faustina. Its institution was requested by the Lord Jesus for the first time in Plock, in 1931, while He was communicating His will regarding the painting of the Image:

“I desire that there be a Feast of Mercy. I want this image, which you will paint with a brush, to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy.”
