PRAYER CALENDAR | GERMANY

🙏 We are very thankful for the General Assembly of our Union that took place recently under the theme “Moved by God’s Blessings”. It was an encouraging and uplifting time, and we are grateful for the hope and unity we experienced. Even in the midst of global uncertainties and many challenges our society is facing, we feel strengthened and encouraged to move forward in faith and full of hope.

🙏 We are also grateful to welcome seven new congregations to our Union. Please pray for these congregations and for all of us as we continue growing together in fellowship and mission.

🙏 Another important topic is our renewal initiative “UB25”, in which we feel “Moved by God’s Blessings”. We take this journey with a lot of motivation and openness, while also being aware of the challenges it brings. We appreciate your prayers for wisdom, unity, and courage for everyone involved.

God is moving powerfully across Latvia 🇱🇻

From restored faith and transformed lives to baptisms, growing ministries, and new families finding hope in Jesus — we are seeing God at work through church planting communities in Liepāja, Ikšķile, and Talsi.

These are more than stories. They are testimonies of God’s faithfulness and the impact of local churches faithfully serving their cities.

PRAYER CALENDAR | SLOVENIA

Headline for Slovenia: “God is quietly building healthy Gospel-centered churches in Slovenia through discipleship, church planting, and leadership development.”

Slovenia is a small and highly secular country, but we are thankful to see God slowly growing His church. Our Evangelical Christian Church-Union currently consists of 6 registered churches and 4 church plants. We are seeing an increasing desire for biblical teaching, discipleship, leadership training, and healthy church life.

Prayer Requests

🙏 Pray for Gospel-centered churches and church plants
Pray that our churches would remain firmly rooted in the truth of the Gospel, grow in spiritual maturity, and faithfully make disciples. Pray especially for several smaller church plants and groups that are developing in challenging environments.

🙏 Pray for leaders and future workers
We have a great need for pastors, elders, evangelists, and ministry leaders in Slovenia. Please pray that God would raise up humble and faithful workers for the harvest and continue shaping younger leaders for future ministry.

🙏 Pray for unity and healthy biblical leadership
Several churches in Slovenia are transitioning toward elder-led leadership models, which are still relatively unfamiliar here. Pray for wisdom, humility, and unity for both leaders and congregations during these changes.

🙏 Pray for outreach ministries this summer
Many churches will host children’s camps, youth camps, English camps, and evangelistic events this summer. Pray that many young people and families would hear the Gospel clearly and respond to Christ in faith.

🙏 Pray for theological training in Slovenia
Please pray for the Slovenian Evangelical Theological Institute and the 65 people involved in it. Pray that sound biblical theology in the Slovene language would strengthen churches and deepen preaching, teaching, and discipleship throughout the country.

What does it mean to “walk together and watch over one another” in today’s global Church?

☝For EBMi, it means more than supporting projects. It means building relationships across continents, learning from one another, and sharing leadership in God’s mission together.

🌱What began in 1954 as a European mission partnership has grown into a global fellowship connecting 28 nations. Today, leaders from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe are shaping the future of mission side by side.

At this year’s EBMi Mission Council, stories of God’s faithfulness were shared from around the world:
👉 700 people being equipped for church planting in Cuba
👉 Reforestation efforts planting 28,350 trees in Cameroon
👉 Young volunteers serving and being discipled in South Africa
👉 Ministries strengthening education, healthcare, leadership, and child protection

Even amid financial challenges, one message remained central: “God Will Provide.”

PRAYER CALENDAR | SWITZERLAND

🙏 It is not easy to find members for the union leadership. One member is stepping down due to his age and long-time service in the leadership. No new candidate has been found so far. The annual meeting is held on Saturday, June 13th. Please pray for a blessed and encouraging meeting that can discern the will of God for the topics that are going to be discussed, and that a viable candidate can be found who has a willing and serving heart to serve the Union Board of leadership.

🙏 Recently, the two church-planting projects in the Union failed and needed to be dissolved due to personal and strategic reasons. Please pray for a helpful and healing outcome for everyone involved.

🙏 Please pray for spiritual renewal in the churches. May faith once again be seen as credible in society, and may people be able to embrace and deepen their relationship with God in their lives, so that they may experience healing and sanctification. May God raise up spiritual mothers and fathers among us, whom we so desperately need.
