PRAYER CALENDAR | EGYPT, BAHRAIN
🇪🇬 EGYPT
🙏 Pray for religious freedom in Egypt, that government leaders and faith communities would work together to uphold the rights and dignity of every citizen.
🙏 Pray for peace and understanding among different religious communities, that God would raise up bridge-builders and help all people to "seek peace and pursue it" (Psalm 34:14).
🙏 Pray for the 28 Baptist churches in Egypt and for President Khalaf Barsum, that God would bless their ministry, strengthen their witness, and guide them in the vision God has given them.
🇧🇭 BAHRAIN
Bahrain has faced Iranian missile and drone attacks since the beginning of the war. Sirens are heard daily, and strikes have affected military bases as well as universities, hotels, residential areas, water facilities, fuel depots, and a major oil refinery.
Daily life has been disrupted. Schools and many workplaces moved online, businesses continue to struggle, and airport closures forced the country to rely on the causeway with Saudi Arabia for essential supplies.
Churches also moved online for several weeks due to safety recommendations. Believers gathered virtually for worship and prayer, supporting one another. When public gatherings resumed, churches held prayer and worship nights for families and the wider community.
The church has also participated in relief efforts, supporting families, individuals, and expatriate workers affected by the war.
Please join us in prayer:
🙏 Pray for the Lord's protection over Bahrain and its people.
🙏 Pray for wisdom and guidance for church leaders as they navigate this crisis.
🙏 Pray for the church's mission to bring hope, support those in need, and share the gospel of peace.
🙏 Pray for the war to end, that bloodshed and destruction would cease, and that nations across the region may rebuild and live in peace once again.
We trust that the Lord of Peace is the answer to the conflicts in our region.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
