At the opening service of the 2026 Synod which began Yesterday at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church Giri Gwagwalada Diocese Abuja. Have the presence of our Baba vicar and Mama vicar in attendance.

The services also accommodate the clergymen and their wives alongside other members of the Diocese in attendance.

The Lord Bishop and Mama Gwagwalada were the celebrant. Why the Honorable Member Joshua Gana was the Guest Preacher and our beloved Father the Bishop of Keffi-Karshi Diocese, The, Rt, Rev'd Paul Dajor was also present yesterday.

The service was a successful one to the Glory of God

Update of the Church processing during her Palm Sunday service to the glory of God. This year's procession was led by the Vicar and Curate of the Church alongside the choir, boys brigade, women, men and children.

It was a moment of celebrating the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. We joined the world in marking this exercise as our tradition in the Anglican communion.

All thanks to God for the massive success.

Pictorial capturing from the just concluded 14 days fasting and prayer of St. Augustine's Church Zuba with the Theme Divine Allocation as recorded in Genesis and the encounter of Abraham and Lot.

We were richly blessed in the cause of this exercise as God's servants brought us to the understanding and knowledge of that which God alone can do for us this year 2026.

The Highlight of this program came with Testimonies, Thanksgiving, Prayers and Declarations.

It was a massive success as we observed our annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving yesterday.

The theme was Harvest of Divine Favour and our Guest Speaker was Mr Frank Ekene Nwosi.

The Highlight of the harvest was the presentation of fruits by the Woman. But this year the Men also did likewise and some Youths too.

God made a name for himself and everything ended in a Massive praise moment.

Jesus Christ was Glorified..

Order of service (Variety) Trinity 15
Topic: The finished work of Christ, our source of victory/ Harvest of divine favour.
Text: Numbers 2:4-9, Colossians 2:11-15, John 19: 28-30, Psalm 5:12
Preacher: Evang. Samuel Ezekannaya

Key points
✓ God places favour on every individual right from the mother's womb.
✓ There is a distinct and special favour on every person.
✓ God placed wisdom on Joseph to accomplish his destiny on earth.
✓ Jesus has finished the work for us on the cross.
✓ We should not boast in our own strength because it is not by our own self righteousness but by the grace of God through Christ Jesus.
✓ There is no other sacrifice to offer because Jesus has done it all on the cross.
✓ All we need to do is hold fast on Jesus Christ and accept him wholeheartedly and keep following him.
✓ God can never allow any trial that is bigger than us to come to us.
✓ The only thing that is required of you is to sin no more.

Last week after Marking my Birthday on Friday 6th June 2025, I also did a special thanksgiving on Sunday 8th June 2025.

I thought of how good and faithful God has been to me, my parent, siblings, family and friends. I counted my blessings and saw that it was worth saying Father thank you. I am so glad I was able to do this no matter how little, with a sincere heart of gratitude to God.

I am Grateful to all of you who continue to support me in this Journey of growing positively.

It can only get better for me
