*YOWICAN Zaria LGA Participates in Kaduna State Leadership Seminar, Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Development*

The Zaria Local Government chapter of YOWICAN participated in the YOWICAN Kaduna State Leadership Seminar and General Council Meeting held from 27th to 28th February 2026 at 2nd ECWA, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Kaduna.

The Zaria delegation was represented by Bro. Siddi Kabeyas (President) and Evang. Britto Kayode Samuel (Secretary), who joined other youth leaders across the state for the impactful gathering.

The seminar was designed to strategically position young people for effective leadership in line with the vision of the YOWICAN Kaduna State Executive for youth development.

Participants were equipped with insights, practical leadership strategies, and resolutions aimed at strengthening grassroots youth engagement and organizational effectiveness.

The meeting was presided over by the State Chairman, Amb. Sunday Tanko Aliyu, and witnessed strong representation from various local government areas across Kaduna State.

At the conclusion of the two-day event, the Zaria delegation returned safely with renewed enthusiasm and a firm resolve to implement the resolutions and lessons gained, towards advancing the vision and impact of YOWICAN within the local government area.

WOWICAN CONFERENCE ZARIA LGA.

For the first time in Zaria LGA the Chairman, Speaker and the Honourable Member of Kaduna State House of Assembly among other dignitaries in the Local Government graced the Can Zaria Lga women conference.

This is a true reflection of rhe peace and leadership we have prayed for.
