“I WILL COME OUT OF THE PRISON ”: A POWERFUL SERVICE AT HEALING AND DELIVERANCE CENTRE IGYEMWASE
Today’s service at Healing and Deliverance Centre Igyemwase, led by Senior Prophet David Memnen Ukum, was centered on the theme “I Will Come Out of the Prison.” In his message, the prophet explained that a person can be in a form of prison when nothing meaningful seems to be working in his or her life. He encouraged the congregation to be prayerful and attentive to things that may constitute setbacks.
The Senior Prophet spoke about what he described as various signs of setbacks, including leaving house keys on a table after locking the house, sleeping with windows open, allowing spider webs to remain in the house, the presence of cockroaches, unusual odours, and folding money. He urged the congregants to be careful and prayerful concerning such signs. He further taught that progress in life requires understanding the things of God and maintaining a strong prayer life.
To support his message, the prophet referenced Matthew 6:6, emphasizing the importance of praying in secret. He also read from Deuteronomy 22:6, Isaiah 59:5, Job 39:19, 1 Peter 3:19, and 1 Kings 22:27, giving his interpretation of the scriptures in relation to spiritual attacks, captivity, and freedom. He prayed that every order of captivity against the congregants would become powerless.
The testimony session brought moments of joy. Uka Uleke returned to thank God and expressed deep appreciation to the Senior Prophet for paying his school fees through his Master’s degree. He also thanked God for His protection and for allowing him to celebrate his birthday on the same day as the Healing and Deliverance Centre Igyemwase service.
Kadija Tuku testified about God’s protection over her and her family. She recounted how gunmen attacked her brother, but his life was spared.
Terna Kulanen also testified that he had been suffering from re**al prolapse (tyohaanya) since April. He said that after being brought to the centre and receiving prayer from the Senior Prophet, the problem ended immediately.
Iordugh Yande testified about his son, who was preparing to travel to Lagos for a job after his NYSC service. He said there was a threat to his son’s life on the way, but he sought the intervention of Senior Prophet David Memnen Ukum, who, according to his testimony, revealed the matter through prophecy and prayed for him. His son subsequently travelled safely to Lagos.
Mason Aondongu returned to thank God for a remarkable change in his groundnut farming. He said that for many years he planted groundnuts without harvesting even a bag, but after he started attending Healing and Deliverance Centre Igyemwase, he began harvesting abundantly. And many others
, too numerous to mention.
The prophet
prayed for an end to insecurity in Ukum, Benue State, and Nigeria at large. In keeping with the biblical principle of helping one another, he presented Langa Japheth with a new clipper to enable him to start a business and earn a living, offering him an opportunity for a fresh beginning.
The service concluded with prayers over the congregants. And equally, prayed for everyone to return safely to their respective homes.
