A POTENT MESSAGE FROM SENIOR PROPHET DAVID MEMNEN UKUM WITH A THEME: “EMBER MONTH SHALL NOT SWALLOW ME",

During the message, the prophet stressed that the ember months can be a frightening period and encouraged Christians to be very careful, remain prayerful, and worship God with genuine faith. He explained that, according to his teaching, some unfinished evil plans may be pursued during this period, making it important for believers to guard their lives and their souls. He referred to Exodus 12:7, 22, explaining that just as God protected the Israelites, He is able to preserve His people.
The prophet also spoke about spiritual battles and the importance of being careful about the way we treat others. Using the story of Joseph, he explained that people may face opposition even before their future becomes visible. He encouraged the congregation to avoid insulting or mistreating widows, elderly people, and vulnerable children, and to be careful with their possessions and family relationships.
He further referenced Matthew 26:26–28, teaching about the significance of covenant and the need for believers to remain spiritually alert. He encouraged the congregation to continue trusting God despite negative names, opposition, or difficult circumstances.
Special Visit and School Support
After the teaching, the congregation welcomed Hon. Andrew Chila, a House of Assembly hopeful for Ukum 1, Ngenev Constituency, under the platform of the APC, alongside his wife, Mrs. Jennifer Chila. They came to the centre to seek prayers and blessings.
During the occasion, Hon. Andrew Chila announced his intention to support Aondoyavenga Ternder with his school fees from primary through secondary school. He further stated that, if given the opportunity to serve, he would support the young person's university education as well.
Testimonies and Thanksgiving.
The service continued with a powerful session of testimonies and thanksgiving. Polina Birja returned to thank God, sharing that she had struggled with her children's school fees but later experienced what she described as God's blessings, including seeing her children complete university and building a zinc house.
Dega Denise also testified, saying that he had previously been taking position 30th in school but began taking first position after coming to the centre and receiving prayers.
Tervaga Dooyum shared her testimony about childbirth, saying that although she had been told she would require an operation, she later gave birth at home after receiving prayers at the centre.
The family of late Ternder also came forward to give thanks to God, while Ive Thomas testified that after praying for a motorcycle to support his business, someone later gave him a new motorcycle.
Sulunshima Sugh also shared that she had planted yam for years without harvesting as expected, but after coming to the centre and receiving prayers, she began harvesting yams.
There were also many other testimonies and thanksgiving from members of the congregation, too numerous to mention.
The service ended with Senior Prophet David Memnen Ukum praying for the congregation and committing everyone into God's hands as they returned home.
The atmosphere was filled with thanksgiving, faith, and hope for God's protection throughout the ember months.
