📖 HIGHLIGHTS FROM TODAY’S SERMON
Topic: God Is Aware of Your Affliction
Text: Luke 7:11–17
Preacher: Dean Rev. Pius Usman Ayuba

When affliction comes, our first reaction is often to ask, “Why is this happening to me?” Sometimes, we even search for answers in the wrong places.
But Job responded differently. Even in the midst of great affliction, he tore his clothes, fell to the ground, and worshipped God. His response was rooted in his knowledge of who God is.
Paul also faced many trials, yet he remained steadfast. He fought the good fight and finished his race. His life reminds us of the importance of knowing God deeply so that we can stand firm through every season.
God is preparing His people to stand firm. Without a strong knowledge of God, we can easily be tossed about by circumstances and every wind of doctrine. But when we know Him, our faith becomes rooted and unshakable.
In Luke 7, Jesus saw the widow of Nain who had lost her only son. His heart was moved with compassion, and He wiped away her tears. That same compassionate God is aware of your affliction today. ❤️
👉 We do not overcome by the size of our problems, but by the depth of our knowledge of God.
His grace is sufficient. No matter the rain, wind, or fire we face, we can remain rooted in Christ—our firm foundation and anchor.
May we continually strive to know God more and trust Him through every affliction. 🙏
