WORDS ON MARBLE

BY REV. MUSA OJOCHOKO

TOPIC: RECEIVING DIVINE ASSISTANCE VIA THE WORD OF GOD

DATE: 3RD, JUNE’26

1. God's way of assisting man is different from the way man assists his fellow man.
2. When a man wants to assist you, he gives you material things; when God wants to help you, He sends His Word.
3. Inside the Word of God is every assistance you need.
4. The Word of God does not only reveal your future; it can create one.
5. Our lives move in the direction of our words.
6. If you can go through a day without the Word of God, Satan is sitting on your file.
7. Any lifting, increase, blessing, or success that is not hinged on God's Word is fake, and it will not last.
8. The Word only works fully when it is believed, spoken, and practised.

CHAMPIONS FAST JUNE EDITION’26 (DAY II)

TOPIC: SEASONS OF DIVINE ASSISTANCE

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE (S): LUKE 5:3-8

MINISTERING: REV. MUSA OJOCHOKO

DATE: 2nd, JUNE’26

Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signalled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!" (Luke 5:3-8, NKJV).

INTRODUCTION

Brethren, there are seasons in life when human strength, wisdom, resources, influence, and connections are not enough. As we journey through life, there will be moments when what we know will not be enough, what we have will not be enough, and even the people around us may not have enough capacity to help us. In such moments, God steps in to assist, help, sustain, preserve, and deliver His people.

Whosoever you are, no matter what you possess, there will come a time in your life when you will need help from God. God never created any mortal man to be independent of Him. He designed us in such a way that we would continually look unto Him for help and assistance.

That is why when people walk away from God, they often walk into danger. Distance from God equals nearness to danger. The Psalmist understood this reality when he cried after God as the deer pants for water. Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” because every day we need divine assistance.

Nothing in you is sufficient to carry you successfully to the end of life's journey without God. Wisdom, therefore, demands that we continually depend upon Him. We need divine assistance.

Before we proceed further, there is something important to understand. Sometimes fear, anxiety, disappointment, and painful experiences affect our ability to perceive God's presence and workings.

Jacob experienced this. After deceiving his brother and fleeing for his life, fear filled his heart. He arrived at a place where God was present, yet he did not initially recognise it. His emotions had been manipulated by fear. Many believers experience the same thing today. God is moving, but because fear has clouded their perception, they cannot discern His hand.

Therefore, whenever you come before God, open your heart. Believe that He is able to move at any moment. Even when it appears a service is ending, God can still step into your situation and change your story.

WHAT IS DIVINE ASSISTANCE?

1. Divine Assistance Is a Spiritual Force or Power Bestowed Upon a Man by God to Overcome Obstacles and Mountains of Life

Divine assistance is a spiritual force, a heavenly empowerment, and a grace released upon a person by God to overcome the challenges and mountains of life. Life is full of battles and challenges. Whether you like it or not, the enemy seeks opportunities to trouble people. There are invisible forces that oppose progress, advancement, and fulfilment. Many battles are fought behind the scenes where human eyes cannot see.

However, when a person becomes a candidate of divine help, those forces lose their power. Divine assistance enables a man to overcome obstacles that would ordinarily stop him. Zechariah 4:7-8 says:

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me, saying: (Zechariah 4:7-8, NKJV).

Every mountain before your destiny can become a plain when divine assistance comes. It is one thing to be blessed; it is another thing to have God defending the blessing. One of God's greatest blessings is not merely material provision but His continuous intervention in preserving what He has given you.

Satan and his agents hate good things. Whenever good things begin to appear in a person's life, opposition often rises. Many people can testify that immediately, positive changes started occurring around them, and strange resistance emerged. But through divine assistance, every opposition shall be overcome.

2. Divine Assistance Is a Special Grace Released by God to Produce Outstanding Results

Divine assistance is a special grace released upon a man by God for the purpose of producing extraordinary results and exploits that attract attention to God. When Jesus intervened in Peter's life, the result was so remarkable that it became impossible for people to ignore. His miracle affected his partners, his neighbours, and eventually brought him into a deeper relationship with Christ. Luke 5:6-7 says:

And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink (Luke 5:6-7, NKJV)

There is a dimension of divine assistance that produces results beyond explanation. At that level, you may not need to preach many sermons. Your testimony becomes your message. People begin to ask questions because they can see God's hand upon your life. May God assist you in such a way that your results will speak for His glory.

3. Divine Assistance Is God's Supernatural Intervention in the Affairs of His Children

Divine assistance is God's supernatural involvement in human situations. It is God stepping into circumstances that appear impossible and changing the outcome. When human effort reaches its limit, divine assistance begins. When human solutions fail, God introduces His solution. The God who intervened for Peter is still intervening for His people today.

WHAT ARE THE SEASONS FOR DIVINE ASSISTANCE?

It is important to understand the difference between "seasons of divine assistance" and "seasons for divine assistance." A season of divine assistance refers to a period when God has determined to help His people.

A season for divine assistance refers to situations, conditions, or experiences that provoke or activate divine intervention. Many believers complain about difficult seasons without realising that those very situations may be activating their season of divine assistance.

1. Season of Overwhelming Need

An overwhelming need is a situation beyond your ability to solve. It is a condition where human strength, wisdom, and resources are exhausted. When Israel stood before the Red Sea, they faced an overwhelming need. Behind them was Pharaoh's army; before them was the sea. Exodus 14:13-14 says:

And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:13-14, NKJV).

Whenever you find yourself overwhelmed, do not give up. Do not complain. Divine assistance may be closer than you think. Often, people become discouraged at the very moment when God is preparing to intervene. Job experienced overwhelming need, yet God eventually restored him. When overwhelming need comes, remember that help may already be on the way

2. Season of Enemy Hostility And Gang-Up

There are times when opposition rises from every direction. Hostility, accusations, resistance, conspiracies, and attacks may seem overwhelming. David experienced this. Saul pursued him relentlessly. The machinery of a kingdom was deployed against one man. Yet David declared:

I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2, NKJV).

Daniel experienced organised opposition. The three Hebrew boys faced governmental hostility. Yet divine assistance preserved them. Whenever the enemy’s hostility increases, do not retreat in fear. Divine assistance is near

3. Season of Enemy’s Confrontation

Enemy confrontation occurs when forces of darkness openly challenge your progress, peace, destiny, or faith. Jehoshaphat experienced this when multiple nations gathered against Judah. 2 Chronicles 20:1-2 records that:

"A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar" (which is En Gedi) (2 Chronicles 20:1-2, NKJV).

What happened next? Divine assistance arrived. God confused the enemies, and they destroyed one another. Whenever confrontation increases, remember that God specialises in fighting battles His people cannot fight

4. Season of Pains and Afflictions

Pain and affliction are often platforms upon which God demonstrates His mercy and power. Consider the man at the Pool of Bethesda who remained afflicted for thirty-eight years. Humanly speaking, his situation appeared hopeless. Yet Jesus located him.

Many people today are carrying pains nobody knows about. Some carry physical pain, emotional pain, financial pain, marital pain, or secret afflictions. The good news is that God sees, God knows, and God hears. If you continue to trust Him and pray, divine assistance will locate you

5. Season of Shortage and Scarcity

Scarcity often creates an atmosphere where divine provision can be revealed. When resources diminish and opportunities appear limited, many become anxious and fearful.

Yet throughout Scripture, God repeatedly demonstrated His ability to provide during seasons of scarcity. He fed Elijah during the famine. He multiplied the widow's oil. He supplied manna in the wilderness. Shortage is not necessarily evidence of abandonment. Sometimes it is preparation for a divine visitation

6. Season of Hopelessness
.. and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets (Luke 5:2, NKJV).

Luke 5:2 tells us that the fishermen had washed their nets. That simple statement carries deep meaning. They had finished work. They had accepted failure. They had concluded that nothing more could be done. The boats were not the problem. The nets were not the problem. The fishermen were not the problem.

What they lacked was divine assistance. Many people today are in similar situations. They have done everything they know to do. They have reached the point of hopelessness. Yet it was at that exact moment that Jesus appeared. When hopelessness surrounds you, remember that the Helper of men is still at work

7. Season of Prayer and Supplication

Prayer is one of the strongest platforms for divine assistance. Psalm 50:15 says:

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me (Psalm 50:15, NKJV)

God responds to genuine cries from His children. Prayer attracts divine intervention. Prayer invites heavenly assistance into earthly situations. Whenever trouble arises, do not stop praying. Continue calling upon God

8. Season of Helplessness

Helplessness differs from hopelessness. Hopelessness is when a person has abandoned expectation. Helplessness is when a person still desires a breakthrough but lacks the capacity to produce it. Peter expressed helplessness when he said:

"Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net" (Luke 5:5, NKJV).

They had worked. They had tried. They had exhausted their expertise. Yet results were absent. Many people are in that condition today. They are not lazy. They are not careless. They have genuinely laboured. But divine assistance is what converts labour into results

9. Season of Storm of Life

Storms come in different forms. Some storms attack health. Some attack finances. Some attack marriages. Some attack faith. In Mark 4:37-39, the disciples faced a violent storm. Their boat was filling with water, and destruction seemed imminent. Then Jesus arose and spoke:

"Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm (Mark 4:37-39, NKJV)..

No matter the storm around you, divine assistance can silence it.

10. Season of Forgiveness and Mercy

Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made (Matthew 18:23-35, NKJV).

Many people need divine assistance because of mistakes, failures, and wrong decisions. The parable of the unforgiving servant teaches us that mercy opens doors that judgment would otherwise close. God's assistance often flows through His mercy. Whenever we humble ourselves, seek forgiveness, and extend forgiveness to others, we position ourselves for divine intervention.

CONCLUSION

Beloved, no matter who you are or what you possess, you still need divine assistance. There will be moments when your strength will not be enough, your wisdom will not be enough, your experience will not be enough, and your resources will not be enough.

At such times, remember that God remains the Helper of men. The God who helped Moses before Pharaoh, who helped Daniel in Babylon, who helped Esther in the palace, who helped Joseph in Egypt, and who helped Peter at the Sea of Galilee is still helping His people today. Whatever season you may be passing through – whether it is overwhelming need, enemy hostility, confrontation, pain, scarcity, hopelessness, helplessness, or the storms of life – God is able to assist you.

Kindly observe the following prayer points tonight between 11:30 P.M. and 3:00 A.M. Remain blessed.

TOPIC: EXPERIENCING DIVINE ENCOUNTER

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE (S): EXODUS 3:1-6

MINISTERING: REV. MUSA OJOCHOKO

DATE: 1ST JUNE’26

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn." So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am." Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground." Moreover He said, "I am the God of your father--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God (Exodus 3:1-6, NKJV)

INTRODUCTION

Brethren, divine encounter is one of the greatest experiences any mortal man can have on earth. Every genuine conversion can be traced to a divine encounter with God. Nobody truly comes to God by human intelligence alone. Also, without divine encounter, we will not on our own volition seek to know God or step into God’s plan for our lives. Nobody genuinely steps into divine purpose without God first reaching out to him.

When God encounters a man, something changes. When God visits a man, something shifts. A divine encounter is that moment when eternity touches humanity and destiny receives direction.

Our salvation today is a product of divine encounter. Every major move of God throughout Scripture began with a divine encounter. Abraham encountered God. Moses encountered God. Isaiah encountered God. Paul encountered God. The Samaritan woman encountered God. Their lives never remained the same. The same God who met them is still meeting people today. He can visit you in church. He can visit you at home. He can visit you at work. He can visit you during your ordinary daily activities. This evening, somebody will experience a divine encounter in the name of Jesus.

PRODUCTS OF DIVINE ENCOUNTER

1. It brings an upgrade of life and destiny.

When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink (Luke 5:4-7) .

Whenever God encounters a man, He upgrades that person's life. In Luke 5:4-7, Peter had laboured throughout the night and caught nothing. He was an experienced fisherman, yet his expertise failed him. However, one encounter with Jesus changed everything. The same sea remained the same. The same boat remained the same. The same net remained the same. But the man had encountered Jesus.

An upgrade simply means moving from one version to a better version. It means moving from one level to another level. It means moving from limitation to abundance. Jeremiah 1:5 says:

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee..."

God had already prepared Jeremiah's future before his birth. The same God who designed your destiny has the power to upgrade your life. Many of the challenges confronting people today are signs that another level is waiting for them. The God who created you knows how to reposition you. One divine encounter can move a man from obscurity to visibility, from struggle to abundance, and from labour to favour.

I remember seeing in a revelation various shops and business places. The Lord began to impress upon my heart that there are businessmen and women whose season has arrived. Therefore, I declare: every businessman and businesswoman under the sound of my voice, your season has come. Your day has come. Your time has come. Every good thing that belongs to you shall manifest in the name of Jesus.

When God upgrades a man, special opportunities begin to follow him. Special favour begins to locate him. Special attraction begins to accompany him.

Prayer: Father, upgrade my life, my destiny, my ministry, and every area of my life.

2. It leads to change of identity.

Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks." But he said, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!" So He said to him, "What is your name?" He said, "Jacob." And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed." Then Jacob asked, saying, "Tell me Your name, I pray." And He said, "Why is it that you ask about My name?" And He blessed him there. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: "For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved" (Genesis 32:24-30).

Genesis 32:24-30 records Jacob's encounter with God. Jacob was carrying an identity that had become a limitation. His name represented struggle, manipulation, and instability. Yet one encounter changed everything. The Bible says he wrestled until daybreak. When God asked him, "What is your name?" He answered, "Jacob." God then declared:

"Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel."

Jacob was an individual. Israel became a nation. That is what divine encounter does. It takes a man from being ordinary and makes him extraordinary. It takes a person from being limited to becoming influential. Notice something remarkable. Jacob already possessed wealth. He already had wives. He already had children. He already had servants. Yet he still cried out for blessing. Why? Because there are dimensions of blessing that only divine encounter can release.

Anything you have outside God will never be enough. There is a level of destiny fulfilment that can only come through encounter. God changed Abram to Abraham. God changed Sarai to Sarah. God changed Jacob to Israel. God changed Simon to Peter. The same God is still changing identities today. Some people have carried labels for years. Some have carried family limitations for generations. But one encounter with God can rewrite a person's story forever

3. It brings cleansing and commissioning

Isaiah 6:1-8 gives us a powerful example. The moment Isaiah encountered the holiness of God, he became conscious of his own inadequacy. He cried: "Woe is me, for I am undone." The encounter first produced cleansing before commissioning. Many people desire assignment without purification. They desire ministry without cleansing. But God's order is cleansing before commissioning. The seraphim touched Isaiah's lips with a live coal from the altar and declared:

"Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged."

Only then did God ask: "Whom shall I send?" And Isaiah responded: "Here am I! Send me." There is always provision for cleansing in God's presence. As believers, we must regularly return to God's presence for purification. Just as a tool requires sharpening after prolonged use, every believer requires spiritual renewal.

Pastors need encounters. Leaders need encounters. Workers need encounters.
Members need encounters. There are things that prayer exposes. There are things that God's presence reveals. There are attitudes, actions, and habits that appear normal until the light of God shines upon them. Many times when I pray, I ask God for mercy. Not because I believe I have attained perfection, but because I know that without His mercy none of us can stand. We need continual cleansing. We need continual renewal. We need continual visitation

4. It brings total transformation; It turns nobody to somebody.

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads." So he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do" (Acts 9:3-6).

Acts 9:3-6 records Saul's encounter on the road to Damascus. Saul was a persecutor of the Church. He was moving in the wrong direction. Yet one encounter with Jesus transformed him completely. The man who fought the Gospel became one of its greatest defenders. The man who imprisoned believers became a preacher of Christ. The man who was feared became a blessing to nations. That is the power of divine encounter.

God specializes in transforming lives. No matter where a person is coming from, God can change him. No matter the mistakes of yesterday, God can rewrite the future. When God encounters a man, the old life gives way to a new life. The Lord transformed Saul into Paul. The same God is still transforming lives today

5. It brings spiritual satisfaction.

In John 4:7-26, Jesus met the Samaritan woman. This woman came to the well searching for ordinary water, but she encountered the Living Water. Jesus said:

"Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst."

This woman had been searching for satisfaction in different places. Yet her soul remained empty. One encounter with Jesus brought fulfilment. The Bible tells us that she left her water-pot and went into the city. Why? Because she had found something greater than what she came looking for. Many people today are searching for satisfaction through possessions, relationships, achievements, and worldly pursuits. Yet the emptiness remains. Only Jesus satisfies the soul. A divine encounter brings inner fulfilment that nothing else can provide.

KEYS TO EXPERIENCING DIVINE ENCOUNTER

1. Humility and Prayer

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

2 Chronicles 7:14 says: "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray..." Humility attracts God. Pride blocks divine visitation. Many people are satisfied with yesterday's testimony. Many people are satisfied with yesterday's experience. But yesterday's testimony can keep you in one place if it becomes your resting point.

Thank God for yesterday's victories but seek fresh encounters. Remain humble.
Remain prayerful. Remain dependent upon God.

2. Hunger for God

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory (Psalm 63:1-2).

Psalm 63:1-2 says: "O God, You are my God; early will I seek You..." Those who encounter God are those who genuinely desire Him. The same intensity with which a hungry man seeks food should be the intensity with which we seek God. The same passion with which people pursue earthly things should be the passion with which we pursue God's presence. Hungry people encounter God.

3. Spiritual sensitivity

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn" (Exodus 3:2-3).

Moses saw something unusual. The bush was burning but was not consumed. Others may have passed by without noticing it. Moses stopped. Moses paid attention. Moses turned aside. God spoke because Moses was sensitive. Many times God is speaking, but people are distracted. Many times God is revealing things, but people are not paying attention. Sensitivity positions us for encounter.

4. Reverence for God

Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground" (Exodus 3:5).

God instructed Moses: "Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground." Reverence is essential. We must learn to honour God's presence. We must learn to honour God's Word. We must learn to honour sacred moments. The fear of God remains one of the greatest pathways to divine encounter.

5. Expect a Divine encounter even in ordinary places

God can visit us at home. In church, at work or during our daily activities.Moses was not in a prayer mountain. Moses was not in a conference. Moses was not in a revival meeting. He was simply tending sheep. Yet God visited him. Never limit God to a location. God can visit you in your house. God can visit you in your office. God can visit you in your shop. God can visit you on the road. God can visit you during your daily activities.

Create room for Him. Many years ago, I had an experience that taught me the importance of sensitivity and expectation. Sometimes God speaks in unusual ways and through unexpected moments. Those who create room for Him often discover that He was already near, waiting for their attention. Do not allow distractions to rob you of divine visitation.

CONCLUSION

A divine encounter is not an event; it is a turning point. Moses encountered God and became a deliverer. Jacob encountered God and became a nation. Isaiah encountered God and received a commission. Paul encountered God and became transformed. The Samaritan woman encountered God and found satisfaction. The God who encountered them is here today. Some need an upgrade. Some need a change of identity. Some need cleansing. Some need transformation. Some need satisfaction. Whatever your need may be, one encounter with God can change everything.
