Service Recap – Our 2026 Theme: Year of Wonders
Today’s service reminded us that the Year of Wonders is not just a declaration but a walk that requires responsibility and commitment on our part. We were taught that miracles do not always come automatically; they often require sacrifice. These sacrifices may be expressed through fasting, prayer, and consistent study and meditation on God’s Word.
From Luke 18:1, we were encouraged to pray always and not lose heart. God desires persistence, not lukewarmness or laziness, especially in the areas of prayer, fasting, and the Word. A careless spiritual life can delay the manifestation of wonders.
We also learned from Matthew 21:1 that God can use ordinary situations to reveal extraordinary wonders. There are questions in life that human wisdom cannot answer, but God’s wonders provide divine answers beyond human reasoning.
Key lessons from the message include:
-Excuses often appear at the edge of miracles, but we must not allow them to stop our obedience.
-Challenges are not meant to destroy us; they prepare us for the wonders ahead. We are to see God above every challenge.
-Faith is one of the major activators of miracles.
-Without faith, wonders cannot be sustained.
-God’s wonders exceed our expectations, imagination, and capacity.
-God does not use people and abandon them;
-He builds, prepares, and makes men for His purpose.
-Finally, we were warned not to over depend on our intelligence, but to rely fully on God, who is the source of true wisdom and wonders.
