By the grace of God in Christ Jesus, every believer is designed and blessed for fruitfulness. This means our make is for productivity. We are chosen, called and ordained for this very purpose.
There’s no how a child of God can walk pleasing to the Father and bring glory to Him when he or she is not being productive. Therefore, God poured His divine creative and fruitful nature into us (2Pet. 1:3-4; Col. 1:10).
Moreover, the faith required to live this kind of life in all fullness has been deposited also into every born again child of God. You have obtained that precious level of faith, and it is resident in your spirit (1Pet. 1:1; Rom. 12:3).
You only need to build it up.
Hence, these seven (7) VIRTUES are to serve as supplements or additives to our faith for it to bear fruits. 🔥🔥
1️⃣ Virtue (Moral Excellence or principles):
Set some principles in your life. Present what is good and proper before God and man. Be decent at all times. You have the spirit of excellence in you; approve only things that are excellent. (Phil. 1:10)
2️⃣ Knowledge:
The knowedge here is scientific knowledge. Moral wisdom, general and professional intelligence. Knowledge of things lawful and unlawful for Christians. You don’t need a deep spirit of revelation for this knowledge; just acquire the least information about whatever you know you’ll be exposed to.
3️⃣ Temperance (Holding yourself in; Self Control): Master your desires and passions, especially the appetites of your senses. Don’t give attention to everything. Control yourself not to go for everything your appetite craves for; take charge of your sensual desires. Stop venting your anger at all times. Hold your words in when you’re tempted to speak off (Prov. 25:28 NLT).
4️⃣ Patience:
Endurance and perseverance in the face of pressure. Waiting without annoyance and anxiety.
Listen, good things don’t happen overnight; they happen over many nights of patience, and success does not build in a day; it builds daily. Therefore, we have need of the virtue called patience.
Impatience has shut more doors than lack of faith has ever done.
Faith and patience makes you a fruitful believer.
“…through faith and patience obtained the promises.” (Heb. 6:12)
5️⃣ Godliness:
This is God-likeness. Piety towards God.
Set yourself in a manner of reverence and respect. You’re a child of God; you’re a “goD” - full of the DNA of your Heavenly Father.
* Be mindful of the presence of God; He is always with you. So, you can’t talk anyhow, do or live anyhow. Be godly.
6️⃣ Brotherly Kindness:
This is Fraternal affection. Love of brothers and sisters.
Being kind and good to a fellow believer without any strings attached, or any ulterior motive. Unselfish love for a fellow believer.
“Let brotherly love continue.” (Heb. 13:1)
7️⃣ Charity:
This is love of God. The God kind of benevolent love and show of goodwill to all men.
This kind of love makes you to give and reach out to everybody, believers unbelievers alike. (Gal. 6:10)
* The only motivation this “agape” love is to show the goodness and kindness of God to all men for their salvation. (Rom. 5:8; John 3:16).
This love is loaded lavishly in the heart every child of God (Rom. 5:5)
🔥🔥🔥
You are called and elected for productivity. To produce and bear fruits of all kinds; especially reproducing your kind (winning souls for God’s kingdom).
* Put in painstaking efforts (diligence) to make your calling and election sure.
* Without adding these virtues to your faith, you will appear barren (useless) and unfruitful.
But these virtues make your faith to not only bear fruits, but to also strengthen it to stand the test of time, bringing glory to the Father in Christ Jesus.

** I pray for you that your days of barrenness are over. God’s grace has ushered you into your season of fruitfulness in your sphere.
BE FRUITFUL IN JESUS NAME 🙏🙏💚
