A PIECE OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO MY DEAR PATRONS & OFFICERS

Dear Steadfast fellows,

As the 2026 BB Week Collection Exercise continues, I sincerely commend the onward and continued dedication, sacrifice, and support shown by our esteemed Patrons and Officers. Your commitment to the growth and development of the Boys remains highly invaluable and deeply appreciated.

Yet, as it is often said, “To whom much is given, much is expected.” Even while you actively participate with your personal collection cards, there is still more we can do to strengthen and inspire the Boys.

One meaningful way to achieve this is by signing the Boys’ collection cards. This simple gesture will be a clear expression of encouragement, leadership, and shared sacrifice and not a mere financial support or contribution as we may casually say. It will go a long way to boosts their (Boys) morale and reminds them that they are supported every step of the way.

Therefore, I wish you use this medium to challenge all Patrons and Officers reading this note to kindly make it a deliberate effort to sign at least 2–4 cards of Boys whether from your own Company or any you come across during the exercise. (This is a plea and not a command)

Let us continue to lead by example and inspire through action. Let this truly be a sacrifice within a sacrifice.

A NEW MONTH MESSAGE FROM THE STATE SECRETARY-ORGANIZER

TO: ALL PATRONS, OFFICERS AND BOYS OF THE BAYELSA STATE COUNCIL

Subject: Marching Forward with Purpose in the Month of Grace

May 1, 2026

Distinguished Officers, Gracious Patrons, and Gallant Boys of the Bayelsa State Council,

As the sun rises on this beautiful month of May, I am filled with immense gratitude and renewed vigor for the work ahead of us. We have successfully navigated the first quarter of the 2026 service year, witnessing the "Pathfinder" spirit in our strategic meetings and the successful flagging off and activities across our various Battalions, Group Councils and companies.

This month carries a special significance for our Council. As we prepare for the high-level State Executive Council including the formal investiture of our State President, installation of State Secretary-Organizer, Inauguration of other office Bearers and the investiture of National Patrons. We are reminded that leadership is a journey of continuous service and dedication.

To our Patrons: We thank you for your unwavering "Episcopal blessing" and support, which act as the pillar of strength for our ministry. Your commitment ensures that we continue to provide a safe and disciplined environment for the ministry in Bayelsa State.

To my Fellow Officers: Let us remember our trainings and the oat/promise we made during our commissioning as officers. May this month be characterized by structural excellence, sincere discipline, respect for authority and administrative integrity. Let us match our words with action as we mentor the next generation.

To our Brave Boys: You are the heart of this organization. In this new month, I charge you to remain obedient, disciplined, and reverent. Let your light shine in your schools, homes, and communities as true ambassadors of the Boys’ Brigade.

As we move forward, let us remain united in our goal to advance Christ’s Kingdom.

I pray that the month of May brings prosperity, health, and spiritual growth to every member of this great Council.
