TOPIC: CULTIVATE A GOOD CONSCIENCE (1)

This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee,that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck;( Timothy 1:18-19)

Your conscience is your inward monitor which is your mind that always tells you whether your actions are right or wrong,

Apostle Paul in this particular bible verse was admonishing Timothy his son in the Lord and all Christians to hold unto faith and good conscience,

Beloved in today message we are hitting specifically on the word good conscience and this is very important because there are many Christians that their conscience are filled with guilt and the reason is because they have allowed certain things into their lives that have compromises their faith and what this simply means is that they have done certain things that are against their faith and this things are hunting their conscience,

There are certain members of the church that will be totally uncomfortable when some kind of messages are preached especially holiness, purity and righteousness messages,

Right within them they will be saying the preacher is referring to me and if care is not taken they will be angry and leave the church to another church and that is because they are not living right with God and also they lack good conscience,

Beloved i encourage all believers to continue holding unto faith because it is only faith in God Almighty that produce good supernatural results and good conscience,

Beloved as a Christian you are to cultivate a good conscience but if you allow yourself to be compromise you will make a mess of your own faith and christian life,

The Scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in the act of adultery to Jesus Christ saying Moses in the law commanded that such should be stoned:but what sayest thou?
This they said, tempting him that they might have something to accuse him, But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as thou he heard them not, So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her,

The Bible said and they being convicted by their own conscience went out one by one ( John 8:1-9).

Beloved let it be that your mind is clean,your thoughts are good and you have pure desires and motives always,

One of the reasons Most Christians resort to self condemnation is because of compromises and that is why most times their conscience finds them guilty and unqualified to receive the blessings of God.

PRAYER:
DEAR PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER,
I Thank You For Your Word To Me Today,
Be Glorified Lord Now And Forever,Jehovah God Your Word Has Stared In Me The Zeal To Exist Fully With Only A Good Conscience Therefore I Ask Lord That You Give Me The Grace To Enable Me Cultivate A Good Conscience That Will Never Allow Me To Compromises My Faith In Order For My Life To Reflect Your Character Lord God Almighty Now And Forever In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen

TOPIC: STOP HYPOCRISY, GOD HATE IT

He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him
( Job 13:16).

Hypocrisy is a behaviour in which somebody pretends to have moral standard or opinions that they don't actually have,

From the Bible days until this day we have many hypocrites in the church and most of them are in key positions in the church and some are even title holders, held in great honor,

Beloved one thing God hates and condemn is hypocrisy because hypocrisy is a great sin in the sight of God,

The bible mentioned some of the traits found in an hypocrite and it says when they do you good they will sound the trumpet for every one to hear and know about it

When they pray they will want the whole world to know that they are praying and they will wake the entire neighborhood up just to see and hear them praying and the Bible charged us not to do as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets ( Matthew 6:1-6)

Some Christians pretend to be strong in the lord but may while they are lying just to pretend to be who they are not,

Beloved from scripture God said, hypocrites shall not come to his presence and this warning He gave to believers is a very serious warning that every believer should take heed to,

Beloved when you pretend to be who you are not just because you want to look good in the eyes of people around you please know that you are only deceiving yourself and it’s better you leave that hypocritical lifestyle and seek God to help you become who He has created you to be,

Finally beloved know that there are consequences in practicing or living an hypocritical lifestyle because it is made very clear in
the Bible Job 15:35 and its says that the congratulation of the hypocrites shall be desolate". and also in Job 20:5 it says that the joy of the hypocrites will not last but it is for a moment,

A case study is Ananias and Sapphire's ( Acts 5:1-11) they lied and deceived the church and they faced a capital punishment of death instantly because God hate lies and hypocrisy,

Beloved please know that the conscience of every hypocrite and liars are sealed with a hot iron-meaning their conscience is hardened and this is caused by the spirit of the end times
( 1 Timothy 4:1-2)

PRAYER:
DEAR PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER,
I Thank You For Your Word That Has Opened My Eyes To Know Those Who Are The Truly Hypocrite Around Me And Also In The Church, Be Glorified Lord Now And Forever, Lord By Your Word To Me Today I Now know That You Hate hypocrisy And That Any One Who Practice Hypocrisy Will Attract Your Anger Therefore, I Ask That Lord Give Me Grace To Avoid All Forms Of Hypocritical Lifestyle Now And For Evermore In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen,

TOPIC: MAKE SACRIFICE FOR THE BLESSINGS TO COME

And ye shall serve the LORD thy God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee (Exodus 23:25).

Beloved the blessings of God does not come cheaply and easily as you imagine it to be because the blessings you receive from God without any participation from your own part will only make you unserious with the activities of God e.g fasting and prayer, sacrificial giving and even payment of tithe hence you must have to make a sacrifice for the blessings of God to come upon you,

Our opening scripture says-and you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread, and your water, and he will take sickness away from the midst of you, Exodus:23v25

So for the blessings to come, you must first rendered quality service to God which is your reasonable sacrifice to God,

The blessings of God does not come on a platter of gold there must be a corresponding action, which is a reasonable sacrificial service rendered to God for the blessings,

Today by the Grace of God, we are talking and singing about Abraham's blessings but forgot to know that Abraham blessings did not come cheap just like that, but rather by sacrifice and that Abraham was even willing to sacrifice his only son Isaac to God to show God his complete obedience to His will and the full readiness to receive the blessing of God ( Genesis 22:1-18)

God's blessings are always available but it’s very important for you to know that in God's Kingdom nothing goes for nothing,

When Isaac wanted to bless Esau he asked him to go and hunt for animal and prepare a special meal for him to eat before he blesses him,

Isaac wanted his son Esau to do something to provoke the blessing to come upon him but while Esau went for the hunting in the field his mother and Jacob his brother got busy with a plan they devised by preparing the meal Isaac loved and brought the food to him and he eat and bless Jacob and through this Jacob received his father’s blessings,
( Genesis 27:1-15)

When God wanted to bless Abraham He asked him to leave his country, kindred and father's house to a foreign land
(Genesis 12:1-5)

This is how hard and serious you have to sacrifice to get God's full blessings,

God's blessings are invaluable, for instance-the blessings that God Almighty pronounced over Abraham in the Bible are still in effect today for Christians, Muslims, Jews and people from all other religion and nationalities are partakers of it because the blessings goes deeply rooted and the only way to access this blessings is to make sacrifice for the blessings to come upon you,

PRAYER:
PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER I Thank You For Your Word To Me Today,
Be Glorified Lord Forever Lord, By Your Grace I Am A Fruit Bearing Branch In Your House Serving You Lord With All My Heart Sacrificially And I Also Vow To Wholeheartedly Serve You Lord Forever, Therefore Lord I Ask That You Rain Your Great Wonderful Blessings That Surpasses human Imaginations Upon My Life In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen,

TOPIC: WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion
( Isaiah 8:18)

Beloved It is important for us as Christians to walk in signs and wonders if we must win and conquer the world,
Jesus Christ went to Cana in Galilee and a certain noble man whose son was sick in Capernaum went to Him and besought Him to heal His son who was at the point of death. Jesus said to him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe
( John 4:48).

This statement of Jesus makes it very clear that there are people who will not believe the gospel except they see real signs and wonders,

As Christians we are God's instrument for revealing HIS signs and wonders to the world through HIS Holy Spirit and Power HE has empowered us with to perform miracles,

God can perform miracles through you His son/daughter just as He did with Paul and others (Acts 19:11-22)

If you a genuinely born again child of God you can lay hands on the sick for them to recover but some Christians don't believe in laying of hands for the sick to recover,

To become God's instrument for revealing His signs and wonders it’s required your faith in God,

As a believer for you to see how wonderous God works you can start laying hands on those who are sick around your vicinity and you will discover signs and wonders has taken place,

Therefore be bold in the Lord God Almighty and you will operate in the capacity of doing signs and wonders to the glory of God Almighty,

PRAYER:
DEAR PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER,
I Thank You For Revealing Your Word To Me, Be Glorified Lord Now And Forever,
Lord God Almighty I Decree And I Declare By Your Divine Power In Me, That From Henceforth I Will Pray And Lay Hands On The Sick And There Will Be Great Signs And Wonders Of Healings And Miracles In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen,

TOPIC: DREAM AND DREAM BIG

And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told his brethren: and they hated him yet the more ( Genesis 37:5).

A man with big dream can attract God's attention for help for the realization of his dreams,

There's no law in heaven or on earth that is against dreaming big so we're all at liberty to dream big, therefore Let your dream of success be big enough for God to get involved with it,

Let your dream be such that will require the power of God to accomplish,

God Almighty gave Joseph two dreams and as a young boy Joseph told his brothers the dreams and his brothers hated him for all his extraordinary dreams of greatness he told them,

Joseph brothers out of jealousy sold Joseph into Egypt for slavery and the wife of the man who bought him for slavering purpose lied against him and Joseph was eventually charged and imprisoned on spurious charges but after all this trial Joseph became the prime minister of Egypt and by him God Almighty preserved Egypt and other nations in the seven years of famine,

Brethren it is time to dream and to dream big not minding the economic downturn,

Beloved dreaming big is a decision you must make because your dreams are the determiner of your physical reality so dream big for yourself, nation, country, family, finances, education, job, business and career,

Make sure your vision for success is big enough to require the supernatural intervention

Stretch your vision and If you are planning to start out a small shop go ahead but begin to dream of owning a shopping mall,

Refuse to put your mind to sleep and keep dreaming to the extent you start seeing yourself doing big things because what you see is what you become,

Remember your Heavenly Father is big and He is able to make your visions and dreams of success to come to pass,

God is more willing and enthusiastic about your success than you could ever imagine so therefore dream and dream big,

Be Glorified Lord Forever,
Lord Your Word Has Opened My Understanding, On Dreams And Visions More Today, Therefore I Declare That From Henceforth I Will Dream Big And See Big Visions For Myself And Never To Allow My Environment To Determine My Dreams And Visions, Because The Good Big Dreams And Visions I Have Are The Ones God Almighty Will Fulfill For Me And Bring To Pass In My Life In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen, Hallelujah,

TOPIC: DON'T BE PERFORMANCE CONSCIOUS, BE RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUS

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh ( Philippians 3:3).

Apostle Paul used this scripture above to address the religious Jews who criticize the Gentiles and considered them as not serious Christians because they were not obeying the laws,

As far as those religious Jews were concerned if you are not circumcised or turn toward Jerusalem when you prayed and perform all their ceremonial washings stipulated in the laws, then you are not a Christian,

They believed in the gospel of performance which means trying to impress God with their good works by their fleshly deeds,

Today so many Christians are like that but that is not the way to serve God in order to please Him

that is why Paul said there is no use having confidence in your so called good works because that is not Christianity,

As Christians we don't have to rely on our own works of righteousness to answer for us before God, In other words we are not performance conscious we are rather conscious and confident in the righteousness that is of faith,

Apostle Paul reveal how worthless it is for any one to boast in such Pharisaic conduct as observing the rudiments of the law,

Apostle Paul said if any man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of Hebrews; as touching the law, a pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless ( Philippians 3:5-6)

Paul displayed his credentials here that as far as obeying the law is concerned there was none of the law he did not fulfill as a Jew yet he said I count all things but loss for the excellency of knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, but that which is through the faith of Christ,the righteousness which is of God by faith ( Philippians 3:7-9).

Don't impress God with your religious performances and don't try to please HIM by obeying the law because the law and the ordinances were abolished through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:15)

Therefore put away religion and be a Christian in deed and don’t be a performance conscious but rather be righteousness conscious,

TOPIC: LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN OTHERS

Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right.Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others.Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about ( Philippians 4:8 TLB).

Beloved there are people who never see the good in others and they are known to always dwell on the shortcomings they perceived in other people that no matter how others make good remarks about someone or something they would still likely inject something negative into it,

For instance if someone is nicely dressed to church and others are saying I like the dress sister blessing wore to church today and the dress is so beautiful,
a negative thinking person would possibly say yes, her dress is so beautiful but she's too short and ugly,

They rather dwell on what they perceived as deficient other than pay simple complement even when deserved, oh What a wrong way to live!

Beloved For the most part such behaviours are signs of true frustration and Those who act in such manner don't realize that the negative attitude they exhibit can only entrench them deeper in the mud of misery and agony

Frustrated people can't see good in others especially because they can't see the good in themselves and so they often criticize and pick on other people,

However our theme verse counsels us, to dwell on the fine and good things in others and This is so important because observing and appreciating the good in others is not about making them happy, but rather it's about building a strong and positive character, as you allow the outflow of good things from within you,

It is about becoming the joyful, successful and prosperous man or woman that God already planned for you to be on earth

Brethren please always make the conscious effort to appreciate others for who they are, because it's the right thing to do and even if you notice something wrong about others show love enough to point it out in a sincere good manner,

This is a fine virtue you have to cultivate, because it will place you on a higher level in your Christian walk with God Almighty,

PRAYER:
DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER,
I Thank You For Your Word To Me Today,
Be Glorified Lord God Almighty Now And Forever,
Lord You Have Brought Me Greater Illumination Through Your Word Today, Therefore Lord I Ask That You Give Me Grace To Enable Me To Appreciate The Good Things In People, And Encourage Them To Continue In The Good Things They Are Doing In Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen,
