‎"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
‎I will guide you with My eye". Psalms 32:8

‎Today, let's take a look at the last and highest level of leadership. This is known as "pinnacle leadership". At this level, people follow you because of who you are (your character and values). For example, people are rallying around a particular presidential candidate in our country Nigeria because of who he is. They have gone as far as spending their money and resources to campaign for his election. Why are they following him? Because of the value he represents. That's how people followed President Mandela because of the value he represented to them.
‎If you are appointed into a position, don't celebrate just yet because you can be in a position and not make any meaningful impact or produce anything. You can even be given the title of a pastor, deacon, or director, but all that doesn't make you a leader - They are mere titles. One way leadership comes to you easily is to gain influence and build relationships with people, then produce results and develop people; automatically leadership would come to you. Friend, don't be driven by position. Be driven by production, people development, and influence.

‎"He quoted a proverb: "'Can a blind man guide a blind man?' Wouldn't they both end up in the ditch? An apprentice doesn't lecture the master. The point is to be careful who you follow as your teacher". Luke 6:39 (MSG).

‎There are various levels of leadership as described by John C. Maxwell. They are leadership by position, leadership by permission, leadership by production, leadership by people development, and pinnacle leadership. In all of these levels of leadership, leadership by position is the least. At this level of leadership, people follow you because you occupy a position and nothing more.
‎At the level of leadership by permission, people follow you because they like you.
‎
‎So, leadership by permission is higher than leadership by position because there, people permit you to lead them. Leadership by production is higher than leadership by permission: your subjects follow you because you are producing results. At the level of leadership by people's development, people follow you because you have improved their lives. They believe that there are things they know because you are involved in their lives. So they are loyal knowing that you have developed them.

‎"...and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful". Mark 4:19
‎
‎Fruitfulness comes by not allowing the deceitfulness of wealth to choke God's word in our lives. Although God wants us to financially prosper, He doesn't want money to have us. In other words, He doesn't want worldly wealth to take hold of us. In Matthew 6:20 scripture says: "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rot doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal". So prosperity in money without the prosperity of your soul is no prosperity at all.
‎If you read 3 John 1:2, you would notice that every other form of prosperity is built upon the prosperity of your soul. A lot of things we pray for are principle-based. They are bound to naturally happen once the foundation is in place with or without having to pray or break your head.
‎
‎God already gave us a blueprint for experiencing all-around fruitfulness and it is simply prioritizing the prosperity of your soul by aligning with the word of God. If your soul is fruitful, your life can't but be also fruitful. How does this work? You need to intentionally and daily fill your mind with God's word. Let the word of God dwell in your heart richly and in abundant measure. The resultant effect will be fruitfulness! Don't be profit-driven. There are things you do that would automatically command profit in your direction. They are called causal factors. Just do those things and profit would be a by-product. Yes, God is the one who gives profit, but you must not set your heart on profit. When it comes, behave like nothing came, because profit is a means to an end and not an end in itself.

‎Father, help me to devote myself to the prosperity of my soul by giving top priority in following Your word.

FAITHFULNESS COMES FIRST 1

"For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ". 2 Peter 1:8

There is a strong relationship between fruitfulness and faithfulness. This fact is very clear in our anchor scripture. It says "...if these things abide in you, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful...". Fruitfulness is a function of faithfulness. If you are faithful you would be fruitful. You don't prophesy fruitfulness, you do what it takes to be fruitful. If a woman would be fruitful in her womb, she needs to meet with her husband for that to happen. The only exception here was Mary, the mother of Jesus and the reason is obvious.

Fruitfulness is an effect of a cause - Fruitfulness is the effect, faithfulness is the cause. Fruitfulness comes from faithfully abiding in Christ. John 15:4: "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me". You must align with Jesus Christ if you would experience fruitfulness. What does it mean to align with Jesus Christ? It means you are obedient to Him, doing what pleases Him.
