THE MOTHER OF ALL THINGS LIVING.
A MEMORIAL OF THANKSGIVING TO GOD
For Mother’s Day.
To the God who formed Woman in His Image.
Heavenly Father, today, in deep thanksgiving, Woman raises a memorial stone, an altar of remembrance for all You have done.
Woman remembers.
We lift our voices in thanksgiving for the breath of Eden still moving through us. For the day You bent low, gathered dust and glory, and carved from Adam’s side not an afterthought, but a crown. A counterpart. A Warrior Bride veiled in wonder.
Thank You for making Woman in Your image. Feminine, fierce, fruitful.
You are El Shaddai, the Many-Breasted One. And from Your fullness You poured us out, Eden's Beauties, Nurturer, Gifted, Treasure, Wisdom, Favor, Prophet,Garden-keeper and Giant-slayer....Tender and terrible as an army with banners. Song of Solomon 6:10
I see EVE
First to name life with her lips. First to carry creation in her womb. Though the ground was cursed, she called her son “Gotten from the Lord.” Thank You for the mothers who birth promise in a fallen world.
I see SARAH
Who laughed in the tent and then laughed with a child in her arms. You remembered her in her barrenness and made nations nurse at her breast. Thank You for crowning the overlooked with joy.
I see RUTH
Who gleaned in foreign fields and laid her life at the feet of redemption. From widow to matriarch, from Moab to the lineage of the King. Thank You for writing loyalty into legacy.
I see NAOMI
Bitter, then blessed. Who midwifed purpose from famine and held resurrection in her arms. Thank You for turning mourning into mothers again.
I see ESTHER
Crowned for such a time as this. Who fasted in silk and risked her neck for a nation. Thank You for the courage that puts on beauty like armor.
I see DEBORAH
Mother in Israel, who rose under the palm tree. Summoned war from her worship. And sang nations into freedom. Thank You for the women who govern with honey in their mouths and fire in their bones.
I see JAEL
Tent-dweller with a hammer in her hand,
Who served milk to a murderer and nailed peace into the earth. Thank You for the holy violence of women who protect what You love.
I see MARY
Overshadowed, not overpowered. Who said “Let it be unto me” and made her womb a throne.
Who pondered in her heart and pierced Heaven with surrender. Thank You for teaching us that strength bows first.
Father, all Women thank You, that We are Yours. That we are not a dim reflection, but a direct declaration. That You nurture, You birth, You travail, You rejoice over us with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 . That when the world sees a Mother, they glimpse a facet of Your face.
We are Your feminine presence on earth. Your image bearers with stretch marks and war scars. Your Warrior Brides with oil in our lamps and a swords in our mouth. We nurse the nations with wisdom. We break chains with intercession. We build houses with my hands and tear down hell with my praise.
This Mother’s Day, we remember. Before we were a mothers, we were daughters. Before were wives, we were worshipers. Before we carried children, we carried glory.
So take this memorial, LORD. Let it rise like incense from every bedroom, every kitchen, every studio, every market every prayer closet, every delivery room. Let the daughters of Sarah, Ruth, Esther, and Mary rise and say “We are here. We are Yours. We are the echo of Eden and the forerunners of the Bride.”
Thank You for the mantle of motherhood. To all, not just by blood. We thank You that You delight in making us your beautiful garden.
Amen. And let the women say, Amen!
