Message: The Brook May Dry Up, But God Never Dries Up
Main Text: 1 Kings 17:1–7
Supporting Texts: Isaiah 43:18–19; Numbers 23:19

Key Points

(1)The brook may dry up, but God never dries up
*The brook represents situations where resources, opportunities, or help may seem to come to an end.
*Even when the brook dries up, God remains faithful and can provide another way.
Your situation may change, but God does not change.
(2)God can rescue you in difficult situations
Elijah experienced a difficult situation when the brook dried up, but God had already prepared his next provision.
*A bad situation does not mean God has abandoned you.

God cannot lie
*What God has spoken, He is able to fulfill.
Human promises can fail, but God's promises remain dependable.
Numbers 23:19
(3)The Word of God cannot fail
God's Word remains established regardless of changing circumstances.
*When everything around you changes, continue to stand on God's Word.

(4)God will make a way where there seems to be no way
*The drying of the brook was not the end of Elijah's story; God had another provision waiting.
*When one door closes or one source dries up, God can create another way.

(5)God is full of surprises
God can provide in ways that people do not expect.
Do not limit God to the method He used yesterday.
Numbers 20:8

MAIN LESSON:
Never mistake a dried-up brook for a dried-up God.
The brook may dry up, opportunities may change, and circumstances may become difficult, but God remains faithful, powerful, and able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
DECLARATION:
“My brook may dry up, but my God will never dry up. My source is not the brook; my source is God!”

Main Text: John 1:1–7

KEY POINTS

Jesus is the Light of Man
Jesus is the true Light who came into the world to bring salvation and direction to humanity.

Jesus is the True Light
No human being can be the light that saves mankind. Jesus alone is the true Light that came into the world.

Through Jesus, Our Light Is Enlightened
When we come into Christ, He brings light into our lives and gives us direction.

The Name of Jesus Carries Light
Those who follow Christ should not continue walking in darkness because Jesus illuminates their path.

Jesus Is the Light of the World
John 8:12 — Jesus declared that whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.

Darkness Cannot Give Direction
Darkness cannot show you where to go. It is light that gives direction and makes the path clear.

There Is Blessing in Walking in the Light
As we walk with Christ and follow His ways, our lives can reflect His goodness and blessing.

Jesus Is the Good Shepherd
Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd.” The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

If You Follow Christ, Live Like Christ
Following Jesus is not only about words; our character, conduct, and lifestyle should reflect Him.

Jesus Is the Resurrection and the Life
John 11:25 teaches that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. The Light of Christ brings life and hope where there appears to be no hope.

When You Carry the Light, It Becomes Evident
A person who carries the light of Christ should demonstrate the evidence of that light through their life and actions.

Jesus Is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
John 14:6 — Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Our direction and spiritual life must be rooted in Him.

Abide in Christ
John 15:1–6 compares Christ to the vine and believers to the branches. A branch cannot live independently of the vine. We must remain rooted and connected to Christ because without Him, we can do nothing.
