A Word In Due Season

People Development.

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2

A true leader is a people developer. Leadership is not a position or a title . It is the ability to influence and inspire people to be better and do better than they were doing by themselves. A leader is an improver. A leader adds value to people. Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” See Matthew 4:19

How do you know that you are following a leader? Answer: You are getting better. A leader will never leave you the way he meets you. A leader will stretch you. A leader will enlarge your vision. A leader will inspire you. A leader will challenge you to leave your comfort zone.

Leaders are never satisfied with average. They know they are called to bring out the best in people. A leader leaves you better than the way he finds you. Leaders are intentional. They make friends with people to improve their lives.

People development is the intentional act of furnishing individuals or groups of individuals with the information, the instructions and the insight that will help them develop better character, increase their competence and multiply their impact in society.

The goal of people development is to help people grow spiritually, help them identify, develop and deploy their potential, acquire new skills, raise other leaders, multiply the rate of Kingdom advancement and transform society. The more mature believers we have in society the greater the impact of the Kingdom we will see in the world around us.

A Word In Due Season

Hope.

“Then I said to them, "You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach." And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king's words that he had spoken to me. So they said, "Let us rise up and build." Then they set their hands to this good work.” Nehemiah 2:17-18.

Leaders are dealers in hope. They give people a reason to believe that things can get better. Leaders give hope. What then is hope? Hope is a joyful expectation of a favorable outcome. Hope is the earnest anticipation of good. Hope is an exciting or inspiring picture of a preferable future.

Leaders paint the picture of a better future before people. They define and describe the future in a way and manner that all can see it. Nehemiah inspired a following by casting a vision of brighter future for the people. He tells them God doesn't want them to be in reproach anymore.

Hope is an image of the future that gives the people a positive outlook of the future. This is what we leaders are called to do. Fathers, mothers, Pastors and leaders should endeavor to be ambassadors of hope. They should keep fanning the fires of hope and positive expectancy in their people.

We build hope in people by focusing on the positive side of life. Don't emphasize the negative. Consistently emphasize that things will get better. Talk about the greatness of God. Talk about testimonies of the acts of God which He has done for others in similar situations.

Don't magnify the works of the devil. Always remind them that God is able to work all things together for good. He is able to turn things around in your favor. Be positive. Train yourself to have a positive tongue no matter what you see. You can, read through the Book of Nehemiah for yourself. He was always positive, never negative.

May this year not pass until your goals for this year are fulfilled
May this year not pass until all your goals are achieved
May God accelerate your progress
May He speed up every process

May these last few months be full of great things
May you be satisfied with good things
May your every step be characterized by favor
May you enjoy abundant grace from the Savior

May every regret be turned into a testimony
May you never experience a lack of money
May you be distinguished above many
May you rise above those who are evil and uncanny

May God make your life a testimony of His greatness
May He satisfy you with abundant goodness
May He silence your mockers with your prosperity
May He preserve you for your posterity

May you become a visible witness of Divine Lifting
May He bless you and multiply the impact of your gifting

The Days of Visitation

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings of Love, Mercy, Grace and Peace from God the Father from whom all blessings flow and from Jesus Christ our Lord by whom we have access to the blessings of God and from the Holy Spirit who makes these blessings manifest in our daily experience.

Based on the established principle in God’s Word that reveals that our God is a God of times and seasons, it behooves me to sound the urgent note that we are in a time of divine visitation which requires that each one give quality time to prayer in order to see the manifestation of divine promises. See 1 Timothy 1:18; 1 Kings 18:41-46; Daniel 9:1-4.

Job 10:12 KJV
Thou hast granted me life and favour,
and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

Acts 3:19 KJV
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

These are times of refreshing. This is a time we will experience a stronger manifestation of God’s Presence and Power especially as we draw closer to the end of time. It is up to each of us to align with the higher purposes of God as we seek to plug into an unbroken flow of God’s Provision, His Power and the manifestation of long awaited promises.

Luke 19:41-44 KJV
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

In the Scriptural text above, Jesus Christ our Lord also teaches us that there are times and seasons. He also showed us that there are specific times when God the Father requires certain responses and reactions in order to enjoy or experience what was scheduled in the divine calendar in His due season. Israel missed the time of divine visitation and suffered devastation. Prayer facilitates the fulfillment of God’s plans and forestalls the plan of the wicked one. Selah. See 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2; Philippians 1:19.

1 Chronicles 12:32 KJV
And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

This is a time to resort to prayer. In this time of unprecedented crisis and danger in our country in many spheres and other nations of the world, wisdom demands that we approach the Throne of Grace for divine intervention. This is a clarion call to you to take out some time to pray and fast for a mighty visitation in our lives, families, states and nations. He that has an ear let him hear. Selah

A Word In Due Season

Faith.

“Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.” Hebrews 13:7 (NKJV)

You cannot lead people beyond the level of your faith. Leadership is advancement. It is taking people from where they are to where God wants them to be. Leadership is movement. The evidence of good leadership is progress. It takes faith to move forward into things you have never experienced before.

What is faith? Faith is the visible expression of confidence in God and His Word. Faith is a confident attitude based on God's Word. Faith is taking God at His Word. That means developing faith requires cultivating a consistent relationship and fellowship with God and His Word.

Hebrews 11:1-2 (NKJV) says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.”

All great men throughout history were men of unusual courage which the Bible calls faith. You cannot do BIG things without faith. Your accomplishments in life will not be greater than the level of your faith. The measure of your faith is what determines the speed of your miracle. See Matthew 8:5-13.

God's power is always available but it is our faith that gives action to the Power. The power of God is dormant until it is activated by faith. If you will begin to develop your faith, you will begin to see miracles happen quicker, you will begin to experience greater victory in life over devils. All you need to do is focus on feeding yourself consistently the rich treasures of God's Word.

As you build your faith you expand your possibilities. As you grow your faith you enlarge the scope of your influence. Do whatever you can to begin to cultivate strong faith and watch God upgrade your life . All it takes is daily time in the Word: Reading the Word, Hearing the Word, Meditating on the Word and Doing the Word. Selah.
