YEAR 2021 DISTRICT SALVATION ARMY BAND CONFERENCE:

Useful events at this year's Salvation Army Band Conference includes but not limited to the following:

1. Daily Roadwork / Training (Parade and Match-pass)

2. Bible Lectures to be delivered by Resource Persons

3. Inter-Group Bible Recitation Competition (Age Limit: 12–15 years)

4. Inter-Group Bible Quiz Competition
(Bible Portion: 1 Samuel 1 – End)

5. Novelty Football Match between
A: Salvation Army Boys Vs. Koroama Town Team Boys
B: Salvation Army Girls Vs. Koroama Town Team Girls

6. Dancing Competition among Senior Officers (From Brigadier to Lieutenant General). As such, Senior Officers are expected to prepare dancing steps ahead.

7. Salvation Army Band Unveiling of New Parade Drum-set / Launching

NOTICE OF GENERAL FASTING:

This is to inform all Salvation Army that there will be General Fasting across the District on Wednesday, 21st July, 2021.

The purpose of the fasting is to Pray and Cancel Death among Armies, and secondly, pray for the forth coming District Salvation Army Band Conference holding at C/s Church, Koroama from Wed. 28th, July, 2021.

TIME: 6.00am - 12.00noon
VENUE: Fast in your home parish.

YEAR 2021 DISTRICT SALVATION ARMY BAND CONFERENCE CHANGE OF DATE:

This is to inform my gallant officers that our 4th Annual Salvation Army Band Conference for this year has been adjusted to four (4) days (i.e. Wednesday - Saturday) by the Chairman / Supervisor and Commander-In-Chief of C/s Society, Eastern Izon District, Supt. Apt. T. A. Igoniderigha for reason being that schools are on session right now.

He further directed that students in primary & secondary schools shouldn't attend the conference on the arrival day though, but should attend from Thursday after school hours.

Therefore, the new rule is that, those of us who are not in school are expected to attend the conference from Wednesday while Student Armies are to join us from Thursday.

Please do well to inform others as Circular Letters might not be sent again for the second time.

However, new Programme of Activities will be made available here soon.

New Arrival Date: Wednesday, 28th July, 2021.
