A Word In Due Season

Apostle David Wale Feso

Reflect God.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26

In order for you to walk in the fullness of your divinity in Christ as a Christian, it is important to know that your authority flows from understanding your identity; this means that you must know and be confident in who you are in Christ and also act like it.

Our opening scripture shows you that you were made to look like God and to function like Him because you were made in His image and likeness.

Secondly, if you are going to function in your divinity in Christ, you must understand that God made you to embody and to emulate Him. This understanding is key in walking in your divinity.

Being made in God's image means that you are the physical representation of God on the earth. This consciousness is what empowers you to rule and reign in life.

For instance, 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 says, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

God calls you Righteousness, Light, Christ, Believer and the Temple of God. Carry yourself with this consciousness. Meditate on who God has made you until your life as a Christian fully reflects who you are in Christ.

Ephesians 5:6-11
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].(KJV)

1 Thessalonians 5:4-8
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.(KJV)

Celebrating Our Healing Commission: Part 4

Hinderances to the Healing Anointing 1

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings of Grace and Peace in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to, “Educate, Equip and Empower believers to receive, function and flow with the Power of God to bless humanity.”

One of the primary callings of my life is not just to be a teacher but a trainer. A teacher tells what to do while a trainer shows you how to do it. A teacher explains the subject matter while a trainer equips you to demonstrate the subject matter.

A teacher focuses on transferring information while a trainer provides instruction for application. A teacher is satisfied with understanding while a trainer is pleased with or by the skillful application of the truth to everyday life and result oriented behaviors or activities.

Therefore, today we will be looking at what hinders or stops the flow of God’s Healing Power. If we know what short circuits the flow of the Anointing we can learn how to unleash it continuously.

Firstly, the number one hindrance is unbelief. Unbelief is from the Greek word apistia which means faithlessness or disbelief. We have already learned that faith activates or triggers the flow of God’s Healing Power, there unbelief will stop the flow of the Power.

Matthew 17:19-20
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?"
So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

There are two kinds of unbelief: The first kind of unbelief is the unbelief caused by ignorance or lack of knowledge of the Promises and the Possibilities as revealed in the Scriptures. The cure for this kind of unbelief is revelation Knowledge or the accurate knowledge of God’s Word. See Romans 10:14-17; Hebrews 3:12-13; Luke 5:15; 6:17-19.

The second kind of unbelief is called unpersuadableness, that is a conscious decision to reject or question the authority of God’s Word. It is a refusal to act upon the truth or knowledge that you possess. This kind of unbelief is when people refuse to believe the Word until they see or feel something. The cure for this type of unbelief is a decision to believe and act upon the Word. See Psalm 27:13-14; Matthew 17:19-21; Hebrews 3:19; Numbers 14:24-30; James 1:22-25; Hebrews 4:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

God’s Power flourishes in an atmosphere of believing faith. Therefore, it is important to teach people about the goodness of God and His willingness or readiness to heal irrespective of race, gender or class. Jesus died for the Healing of all men and in His earthly Ministry, He healed all. See Mark 5:34; Matthew 9:27-29; Mark 10:46-52.

Secondly, Strife is one of the worst enemies of the Healing Anointing. Wherever there’s constant bitterness and strife, the flow of God’s Healing Power will be limited. This is because strife is the opposite of love and compassion. Strife stifles the flow of the Power.

Matthew 17:14-17 NKJV
And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him."
Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me."

The Disciples or Apostles of Jesus were already anointed and appointed to walk in the Power but the Power did not flow because of the constant strife amongst them. They were always concerned about who was the greatest amongst them. Strife is an enemy of the flow of the Power of God in your life. See Matthew 20:20-24; 18:1-5; Mark 9:33-37; Luke 9:46-48.

You cannot afford to walk in enmity, strife and bitterness if you want to flow in the Power of God. God is Love and He is the Source of the Power. Therefore, walking in love triggers the Power. You have to be quick to forgive and learn to walk in a constant state of forgiveness to enjoy the flow of that Power. Bitterness will hinder the flow of the Power. See James 3:16; Matthew 18:1; 20:20-28; Luke 9:46-48; Ephesians 4:29-32; 1 Peter 2:1-3; Colossians 3:12-14.

Acts 8:18-23
And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, "Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity."

Get rid of all bitterness, selfishness and hatred if you want to see the Power of God at work in your life. If you don’t they will hinder the flow of God’s Healing Power through your life. Selah

Faith-filled Words 2

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Matthew 21:21-22

Today based on our opening scripture I will like to encourage you to start talking. Start calling forth what you want to see in your life, your marriage, your home and your ministry. Your miracle is in your mouth. You can have what you say.

Mark 11:22-24 says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Don't settle for less. Use your tongue. You are in charge now. You have complete authority over all the forces of darkness. Exercise that authority by commanding and demanding what you want. Praise God.

Instruction.
Please read Psalm 106:4, Isaiah 60:10, Genesis 30:22-24 and ask God to remember you this year and grant you that which your heart fondly wishes for.

Faith-filled Words 1

“... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Matthew 17:20

Our opening scripture reveals that nothing shall be impossible unto you therefore I challenge you to rise up in your authority and begin to push back negative forces with your bold confessions of faith.

Isaiah 57:19 says, "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him."

Don't settle for less than what is legally yours in the redemption. God has provided healing, victory, blessings etc. It is up to you to take what is yours. Decree what you want and the Lord will honor your petition. God is waiting for you to declare what you want to see because He creates the fruit of the lips.

Proverbs 13:2-3 says, "A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction."

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Instruction.
Please read Genesis 24:12, Genesis 27:20 (ESV), Isaiah 60:22 (NIV) and ask God to give you good speed by His favour throughout this year. Whatever others struggle to get may it come to you with ease.

Genesis 24:12
And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.(KJV)

Genesis 27:20
But Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?" He answered, "Because the LORD your God granted me success."(ESV)

Isaiah 60:22
The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly."(NIV)

Proverbs 12:13-14
The wicked is snared by the transgression of [his] lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of [his] mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.(KJV)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proverbs 18:20-21
A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.(KJV)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew 12:34-37
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.(KJV)

A Word In Due Season

Everyday Victory.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Today based on our opening scripture, I encourage you not to let contrary circumstances lie to you or intimidate you. There's no challenge that you are facing right now that you cannot handle. You have within you all it takes to win in life everyday and much more.

Luke 9:1-2 says, "Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick."

Luke 10:17, 19 says, "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name... Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

The words of Jesus above reveals that all devils are your subjects if you are born again. Therefore refuse to be oppressed by devils. The Word of God reveals to you that they are under your authority. When you speak, they have to obey you. They are obligated to obey your command. Praise God.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that all devils are my subjects. I have been given power and authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Amen.

For further study, read:
Matthew 17:19-20, Ephesians 4:27, James 4:7.

A Word of Encouragement

How to be confident in the midst of trials

Dearly Beloved,

Grace Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to, “Help men find God, follow Him and fulfill His plans and purposes for their lives.”

It gives me great joy to send out a word of encouragement to you today. I want you to know that God is mindful of you. He is constantly thinking of ways to do you good. See Psalm 8:4; 115:12-16; Job 10:12; Job 7:17.

You might be going through a challenging season but one thing is certain it will work together for your good. God has a way of using the challenges and the problems that the enemy brings our way for the furtherance of our progress.

If there was no Goliath, David would not have been exposed as a mighty warrior. Gideon was discovered in a difficult time in Israel when God anointed Him to step to lead Israel to war. Don’t let any challenge intimidate you. God will use it to show you how great He is.

Have you not read that, “There’s no temptation that has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” See 1 Corinthians 10:13

This current trial is a temporary test of your trust in God’s ability to put you over. You will not sink in this storm. It may be windy and wavy but you will walk on water like Peter. No matter what you face, remember the words of the Apostle Paul recorded in Romans 9:35-37.

Romans 8:35-37 NKJV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
"For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
*Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.*

God has put within you the capacity to win over every challenge. He has put in you the ability to overcome whatever comes your way. The Greater One is you. You can do all things through Christ who empowers you. You have what it takes. Things will end in your favor. It will all work out for your good. Say Amen!

Blessings,
