The Conquering Power of Faith

In John 16:33, Jesus said to His disciples,
"These things I have spoken unto you,that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD."

For our faith to work,we must learn to speak like Jesus. Every Word Jesus spoke when He walked the face of the earth came to pass. Nobody ever spoke like Jesus. Every time He opened His mouth to speak,He spoke words of faith that produced results.

This is what the religious folks back in the days of Jesus didn't like about Him. They crucified Him because of His words, nothing else! His confessions were too powerful for the natural minds to comprehend. He confessed Himself to be the Son of God, and the religious folks hated Him for that.

When He spoke,blindness left, deaf ears were unstopped, the lame got up to walk, maimed limbs were made whole, and the dead were raised. His words were different; they were not ordinary. Whenever He spoke, significant changes took place in the lives of His hearers. Demons cried in horror and scampered in terror.

It wasn't His touch that produced the miracles but His words. Words that were full of power. Here, in John 16:33, Jesus made a powerful confession and said to His disciples," Cheer up! I have overcome the world." Nobody talked like Jesus! How could He say," I have overcome the world" when He hadn't even gone to the cross, much less risen from the dead!

He said these words before He went to the Cross - before His death, burial and resurrection. Therefore,we ought to find out how He overcome the world because it's obvious He did something you and I can do.

I found out from the Bible that Jesus overcame the world by speaking faith-filled words, and discovered I can do the same thing.

FAITH: THE VICTORY THAT
OVERCOMES THE WORLD!

Remember, Jesus made this world. The Bible says without Him was not anything made that was made ( John 1:3). There was nothing in the system of this world that wasn't subject to Jesus. He exercised dominion over all things. He tamed them by His words - faith-filled words!

He spoke to maimed limbs, corpses,deaf ears, blind eyes, crippled limbs,demons of darkness,fishes, trees, and they obeyed Him. He tamed the laws of nature and transcended them. He was never a victim. He walked on water, spoke to the wind and calmed the storm! When He encountered the leprous and said," Be clean!" the leprosy disappeared.

He knew who He was! He was never afraid of anything. Everyone wondered at Him when He spoke. He didn't mince words in declaring His identity. He said I and my Father are one( John 10:30); He walked in union with the Father.

Just like Jesus, the words we speak are spirit and they are life( John 6:63). That means our words are not empty. They're potent; they have Conquering, overcoming and prevailing power over devils, adversities and every negative circumstances of life.

This is why it's so important that we talk like Jesus by releasing faith-filled words.

No wonder John cried " This is the victory that OVERCOMES the world, even our faith"((1 John 5:4).
Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Our faith has supernatural power to conquer,tame and subdue the world. Hebrews 11 gives us a catalogue of faith folks - great men and women who subdued and tamed their world by faith: verse 32-34.

Paul paints the picture for us of how these men subdued and conquered their world through faith. Bible history has it that John the beloved apostle, during the great persecution of the church,was covered in a cauldron of boiling oil and left to die.

But by the time all the oil burnt out,they opened it up and were shocked to see John still alive. I believe he must have pointed in their faces saying," Whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMES the world!"

Did you ever read about Samson? He tore a lion apart with his bare hands. David did the same thing. How about Daniel? He was thrown into the lion's den, and guess what he did? He didn't think about killing the lions, rather he tamed them! Then he sat with them and put his hands upon them.

I'm showing you how some of the guys from our lineage of faith subdued their world! They dominated and conquered their world,to the point the world wasn't worthy of them anymore ( Hebrews 11 38).

By their faith, they completely overcame this physical world to the point they just couldn't stay here anymore. Men like Enoch,who the Bible says,"...walked with God: and he was not; for God took him"(Genesis 5:24). That doesn't mean God took his life or that he died, but that he walked by faith and subdued this world to the extent he was literally translated out of the world into heaven. How? By faith!

You too can do the same, and get listed in faith's hall of fame.

Don't abuse Grace please.

James 4:16 says," But He gives more grace. Therefore He says," God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.""
Most people play with the grace of God upon their lives, thinking they have arrived because God always answered them whenever they called on Him. God will always honour His Name and His word no matter who's involved but I tell people," two letters" are hidden from the physical eyes of people who play with spiritual things. This two letters can be found in front of grace or behind grace. Whichever you prefer, it's fruit you'll enjoy? They are "Dis" and " Full," you can be sure to enjoy either of them to the fullness.
Grace was made to uplift, bless, strengthen, pull out people from pits into glory,but many are using it for selfish reasons and others are manipulating people in the name of"grace."
Choose for yourself whom you will get is it"Disgrace " or "Graceful," maybe" Gracious."
Psalm 84:11 says," For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us GRACE and GLORY. The Lord will withhold no GOOD thing from those who do what is right."

Don't end like beautiful or more handsome ABSALOM who played with "the grace" upon his life( 2 Samuel:14:25-15:1-37).

Who called you, has He promised to abandon you on the way to your destiny? Who are you listening to? Who is God to you,a failure or a lovely Father? Has God failed you before? What is your trouble with deception? Does it pays? Did God called you? Did you answered? What did both of you discussed? Why not stay true to your calling and allow God fulfilled His word?

Abraham knows better ( Romans 4:19-20).
1). Abraham gave glory to God.
2). Abraham did not considered the evidences presented before him and his wife.
3). Abraham became fully persuaded that He who promised will do what He said He will do.

THE MYSTERY OF THE TONGUE
James 3:1-12
The Bible says the captain of a ship controls that massive ship with a small helm, and compares that helm to the tongue. It says though the tongue 😛 👅 is a little member, it boasts great things (v 5). Put your tongue to Work and let it bring forth great things in your life. As small as your tongue is, it's the most powerful member in your body. Your tongue can take you either to heaven or to hell. It can make you rich or poor,put new clothes on your back or dress you up in rags. It all depends on how you use it.
You see people in the streets, homeless and destitute ---their tongues kept them there. It doesn't matter how you got into the situation you're in, you don't have to stay there. Your tongue can stop 🛑 you from recieving what you ought to have or bring it to you. IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW YOU USE IT.
Now if you don't use your tongue at all, don't think 🤔 nothing will happen, something will still result from that. You know there's no such thing as a clean piece of farmland waiting to be cultivated. If the farmer doesn't sow something in the farm,it would grow 🪴 something by itself, something unwanted --weeds.
So when you say,"Whatever will be, will be,"that's like you saying,"Well, I've cleared this piece of land, whatever can grow there should grow." You can be sure what's going to grow there won't be nice.
You can use your tongue to programme yourself for a successful, tremendous life or for a life full of grief and regrets.

"Dear brothers and sisters,not many of you should become teachers in the Church,for we who teach will be judged more strictly. Indeed,we all made many mistakes.For if we could control our tongues,we would be perfect and could also control our ourselves in every other way. We can make a large horse 🐎 go wherever we want by means of a bit in its mouth. And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go,even though the winds are strong. In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire 🔥🔥. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness,corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire 🔥,for it is set on fire by itself.
People can tame all kinds of animals,birds,reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it CURSES THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. SURELY,MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THIS IS NOT RIGHT! Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? Does a fig tree produce olives,or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can't draw fresh water from a salty spring.

I have heard some Ministers' of the Gospel say things like," The place is dry, unproductive, and no members." Yet they are "Mouth Piece of Power called by the Almighty God."

Just like that guy keeps exercising his muscles to be fit and strong. You need to keep practicing your faith by declaring the Word of God always concerning that area you need a miracle. Am seeing someone about to share her testimony. Happy October of excellence.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God -Romans 10:17

Grow your faith from little faith, which means the result of insufficient information from God's Word and weak faith which is the result of not acting on the information you have. To great faith and strong faith which is more information and actions on the Word you have received and you're working out your faith ( Matthew 15:22-28 and Romans 4:20)
Don't panic in the place of adversities and unpleasant circumstances,put your faith to work and Jesus Christ will answer.
When your faith says YES, God cannot say no!!!
