Topic: TREASURES IN YOUR TRIALS
Text: 2 Corinthians 4: 7 - 18.
Memory Verse: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28.
One thing that is universal to all mankind is problem but it differs from one person to person. As the earth rotates, some countries experience daylight while others experience night and darkness. After sometime, the countries that once had lunch light and day will experience night and darkness whilst the one in darkness will enjoy light and day. This is how our lives are, so you must never compare your life to someone else's.
The Bible is full of stories of people who had victories after trials. If Lazarus did not die, we may not have known that Jesus could wake the up a dead man. The woman with issue of blood probably wished she had normal period like others. She must have thought perhaps she is abnormal.
However, if she did not suffer or go through that ordeal, we probably will not be reading about her today. She will not be an inspiration to others that might be going through the same issue today. They might not have thought that God can heal them regardless of the trials they are going or passing through.
If Job did not undergo trials, we may not understand the Awesome restoration power of God Almighty. In few years time you will thank God for the trial you are facing now. Never give up. Hold on to God and strengthen yourself as David did. Trials bring the best out in us, most of our spiritual growth happens in times of trials. It creates an opportunity to reflect and try something we have never tried before. Smile because you are God's beloved. There are great treasures in those trials, please look and see. You will testify soon in Jesus Name ๐
