9th New Moon, Partial Solar Eclipse, September Equinox and Fall Feasts, 2025
Beloved Watchmen on the walls of the nations,
We bring you greetings in the precious name of our soon coming King and Savior – The Lord Jesus Christ. The 9th New moon for the year 2025 and the seventh new moon according to the Hebrew Calendar (counting from Nissan) will occur today Sunday September 21 @ 19:54 UT (20:54 Nigerian, 14:54 US Central time). This new moon also comes with a partial Solar eclipse that will happen as the new moon occurs on this 21st day of September, between 17:29 UT and 21:53 UT, the Moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, covering a part of the solar disc and creating a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse will be visible over the south of Australia, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and Antarctica.
Blow the trumpet to the Lord in this new moon season and ask the Lord to remember us against our enemies in all our battles. (Num 10:9-10, Ps 81:3). Plead the blood of Yeshua on the moon. Command the heavens to declare the glory of our Mighty God (Ps. 19:1-6). Please posses the gates of this new month with all manner of prayers and fastings for yourselves, your families, and nations.
This new moon heralds the end of the Hebrew year 5785, and the beginning of the 7th Hebrew month of Tishri or Ethanim and Hebrew New year 5786. Please note also that whereas the Hebrew month Tishri or Ethanim is the 7th in the religious calendar, counting from Nissan (Abib), it is actually the 1st month of the Hebrew Civil Calendar year, which begins the Hebrew civil year 5786. It also marks the beginning of the Fall Feasts of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).
There are very many events and feasts as well as activities in the heavens this season but in this newsletter, we will concentrate only on the major dates and events of the season as follows:
The New Moon of Ethanim – Sunday September 21st @ 19:54hrs UT.
Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) – Sunday September 21st at sundown.
The September equinox which marks the beginning of fall in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of spring in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2025, the equinox will occur on September 22, at 18:20 UT 12:20. US Central).
The 10 Days of awe – Monday 22nd September 2025 to Wednesday October 1st, 2025.
Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) 2025 – Evening of Wednesday 1tst October to Thursday 2nd October 2025.
October 7 - Full Moon, Supermoon. The Full Harvest Moon will occur on October 7 at 03:47 UT. Our natural satellite will be in the constellation Pisces. Although the Full Moon technically lasts only a moment — when it is directly opposite the Sun relative to Earth — it appears fully illuminated a day before and after this time. This Full Moon will be a Supermoon. It will be 6.6% bigger and 13% brighter than a regular Full Moon. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Hunters Moon because at this time of year the leaves are falling, and the game is fat and ready to hunt. This moon has also been known as the Travel Moon and the Blood Moon. This is also the first of three supermoons for 2025.
The new moon of Ethanim
This new moon is the 9th new moon of 2025. It is the moon of Ethanim or Tishrei – the 7th Hebrew religious month called Rosh Hashanah. As stated earlier. please note that it is also the first Hebrew civil calendar month which marks the beginning of the Hebrew New Year 5784. It will occur on Sunday September 21 @ 19:54 UT (20:54 Nigerian, 14:54 US Central time). A new Hebrew year is about to happen - the year 5786. We therefore wish all our Jewish brothers and sisters Shanah Tovah Umetukah!!!

As we celebrate with Israel, we also urge you to yield to the LORD’s call to sound the SHOFAR at the new moon and on the feast days (Ps 81:1-3), to sound the shofar during the Feast of Trumpets (Lev 23, Num. 10:9-10) and above all, to sound the shofar when the enemy comes to fight us in the land He has given us or when the enemy comes to fight to steal our harvest (Num. 10:9).
The new year 5786 ends with two numbers that have prophetic significance. The first number is 80, signifying that this is the decade of the 80s. The Hebrew word for the number 80 is Pey. This in the Hebrew also means MOUTH.
Declaring the WORD of THE LORD by mouth in this decade continues to be paramount, for the enforcement of inheritance. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
The second number of significance is the number 6 which in the Hebrew has the name Vav, whose Pictograph meaning signifies: Nail, hook, peg. It Symbolizes Connection, joining, covenant, securing, man, transition. In Hebrew, Vav functions grammatically as the word “and” — the letter that links what was to what comes next.
This new Hebrew year therefore provides a prophetic season for establishing divine connections, covenants, and transitions into new seasons and dispensations; through the effectual use of the mouth by prophetic proclamation of God’s word. I see an opportunity in this season for personal, family, territorial and national transitions and connections with prophetic destiny through the responsible exercise of strong intercession, covenants and leveraging on the Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and His end time purposes.
“But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.” (Isaiah 51:15-16)
2.0 Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur 2025 – An Important Season of Consecration – The Fast of the 7th Month.
Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: ראש השנה), (literally "head of the year"), is the Jewish New Year. It is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim ("Days of Awe"), celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is observed on the first two days of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. It is described in the Torah as יום תרועה (Yom Teru'ah, a day of sounding [the Shofar]).
The feast of Trumpets (21st September) and the feast of the Day of Atonement (1st of October) (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in the Hebrew) are considered High Holy Days among God’s people - Israel. Both are celebrated in the Fall/Autumn. These two days and the ten days in between are known as the Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe) or the Days of Repentance.
In Israel, the time of the fall feasts is another New Year. Rosh Hashanah actually means "head of the year" - Rosh means head, while Hashanah means year. Jews believe and rightly so, that God's judgment on this day depending on our response to the ordinance of the feast of atonement determines the course of the coming year. Rosh Hashanah is therefore treated as a time to start thinking about the mistakes, sins and transgressions of the past year and making resolutions for the next year. During the time of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur a common practice is to seek out people that one has wronged during the past year. A person asks for forgiveness and, if possible, rights the wrong. Reconciliation with other people must take place before Yom Kippur. This is what Israel calls the fast of the 7th month.
“Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.” (Zechariah 8:19)
Beloved, we urge you to join us and spend the ten days from September 22nd till October 1st in drawing close to the Lord and seeking him in deep consecration and fasting before the Lord for ourselves, our families, and our nations in these seasons of dispensational shift and opportunity to connect and transit to higher levels of glory. Let us be sober and reminisce over the past year in the true spirit of these feasts of the Lord.
3. The Fall Feasts – Seasons of anticipation and Preparation for manifestation of the glory
“Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month. And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude. And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.” (1 Kings 8:1-2,5,10-11).
Solomon completed the temple dedications in the seventh month, and we saw God’s glory come down. This season is the time to also anticipate the manifestation of God’s glory over our lives as we bring the proper sacrifices of our lives before the Lord in this season. Please seize the moment and obey Rom 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1) “In the seventh month , in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying, For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Haggai 2:1,6-9)
4.0 Equinox 2025 – The Change of Season Fall begins in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring starts in the Southern Hemisphere.
A major shift in seasons occurs as the sun crosses the celestial equator for the second time in 2025 on Sept. 22. This is the event we call the Equinox, which is the last day of equal day and equal night – the Day of Balance in 2025. From this day till the next solstice, the nights begin to get longer in the Northern Hemisphere and shorter in the Southern Hemisphere. This marks Fall in the North and Spring in the South. Let us therefore strongly blow the trumpet (Shofar) on this date. Sorceres always seek to manipulate this event with a lot of witchcraft in the nations. Let us ensure we counter them with word proclamation, blowing the Shofar on this day.
5.0 How Should We Pray?
Proclaim Psalm 19:1-6. Praise the Lord with joyful songs and loud cymbals. Proclaim Psalms 148; 149 and 150 serially.
Fasten these powerful psalms into the heavens in the place of prayer and command the sun, the moon, and all the stars in this season of the 7th month of Ethanim to declare only the glory of the Lord and His handiwork. Let the coming ember months be seasons of His peace and not of war, terror, calamities, and trouble.
Let us really spend quality time in repentance and soul searching. Please as we have advised, take advantage of this season of the ten days of awe. Get involved in waiting on God this season of the fast if the seventh month.
Repentance (Ps. 51, 103):
Repent for any personal sins of manipulation, lies in your own life, foundation, etc.
Ask for mercy and bring atonement by the blood of the Lamb (Ps 51, Heb. 9: 12-14).
As a priest stand before God in identificational repentance on behalf of your families and nations in respect of all sins of grieving God, committed by your families and nations.
Take time to repent on any sin especially pertaining to rebellion which is like the spirit of witchcraft. God hates this. Remember, God is not a respecter of persons.
Let the company of watchmen and women comply with the word of God in Joel 2:17:
“Let the priests, who minister in the LORD’s presence, stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the altar.
Let them pray, “Spare your people, LORD! Don’t let your special possession become an object of mockery. Don’t let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say, ‘Has the God of Israel left them?'”
Joel 2:17. (NLT). Ask for mercy and cleansing by the blood of Jesus (Heb 9:12ff).
Receive access for yourselves, your families, and nations into the new dispensation of redemptive destiny connections and covenant promises and transition into God’s original plans for man in this new year 5786, that God is orchestrating at this time. Pray from Zech. 8:19 “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore, love the truth and peace.” (Zechariah 8:19).
Pray into 1 Kings 8:1-2,5,10-11. God visited the temple during Solomon’s day with His glory because of sacrifice. As you consecrate yourself from Rom 12:1, ask God to visit you, your family, the church in your nation with His glory as promised in Hag. 2:6-9. It was in the month Ethanim that Solomon brought the Ark into the Temple (1Kings 8).
In Israel, Ethanim begins the period of the autumn, which comprises the three months of Ethanim, Cheshvan, and Kislev. According to Hebrew culture, the three tribes corresponding to the months are Ephraim, Manasseh and Benjamin--who in the desert encampment around the tabernacle were situated to the west. Their joint camp was known as the camp of Ephraim (or Joseph).
Therefore, this is a season to receive the blessings of Joseph (Deut 33: 13-17). Proclaim with your MOUTH on yourself a transitioning to and connecting with the prophetic blessing on Joseph: “And of Joseph he said: “Blessed of the LORD is his land, With the precious things of heaven, with the dew, And the deep lying beneath, With the precious fruits of the sun, With the precious produce of the months, With the best things of the ancient mountains, With the precious things of the everlasting hills, With the precious things of the earth and its fullness, And the favor of Him who dwelt in the bush. Let the blessing come ‘on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.’ His glory is like a firstborn bull, And his horns like the horns of the wild ox; Together with them He shall push the peoples To the ends of the earth; They are the ten thousands of Ephraim, And they are the thousands of Manasseh.”
This month of Ephraim, please pray that the LORD will be a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the remnant of His people in the nations as prophesied in Isaiah 28: 5-6 for the remnant bride of Yeshua Messiah, and the company of gatekeepers and watchmen: “In that day the LORD of hosts will be For a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty To the remnant of His people, For a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, And for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.”
Beloved, as you can see, there is much activity in the heavens this month. Remember that the LORD has put His words in your mouth to plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth (Is 51:16). Pray and fasten the written word of God into the heavens so that righteous plantings can take root. Pray to uproot unrighteous plantings (Matt 15:13). From this new moon to the next new moon, regularly plead the speaking Blood of the Lamb of God on both the sun and the moon as well as the various stars, constellations and alignments listed above, asking the LORD to blot out handwriting of ordinances written against His people by the army of satan (Col 2:14).
Plead the blood over the heavens and enforce the counsel of our God for this prophetic season in the nations over these heavenly events.
Command that all evils invoked by darkness such as calamities, tragedies, accidents, troubles of every sort, during these Ember months, be silenced by the blood of Jesus. As we know, the bible clearly states that the heavens hear (Deut 32:1) and speak (Ps 19).
Pray and ask the heavens to declare only the glory and righteousness of our mighty God. Pull down the strongholds of darkness this new moon.
The Full moon of Ethanim is known as the hunter’s full moon. Disrupt the hunting and harvest pillaging sorcery of that season by proclaiming and praying with the scriptures in Judges 6:3-6 and Ezekiel 13:18-21.
The scriptures in Ezekiel 13 describes satanic soul hunting in these words “...to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live...”
We need to, by prophetic praying, confront these evil plans in these ember seasons and shut down the harvest stealing and soul hunting adventures of these wicked forces, especially during the full moon season. The heavens must be compelled to declare only the glory of the Lord and the handiwork of our merciful king over our people as we pray this season.
Ask for the commencement if the outpouring of the Spirit of Grace and Supplications that will trigger the latter days glory revival that is to start from Africa.
Let us ask that as our God pours out His Holy Spirit, that He will bring the restoration of a new era of true Apostolic, Priestly, and Prophetic ministers for the empowerment and manifestation of the gospel of the kingdom in the nations.
Ask God to show mercy to the Palestinians by completing speedily the uprooting from them the scourge of Terrorist political leadership such as Hamas, Hezbollah and their other variants.
Let it be swiftly done this time for all times. In the April 1986 Lance Lambert, by Prophecy spoke of God’s plan to bring an end to Islamic Terrorism through Israel. He also said in the season that this happens, there will be simultaneous outpouring of the Holy Spirit in revival in the nations.
Let us pray that the Lord will help Israel at this time of unprecedented Hamas terrorism, to accomplish this prophetic word as well as fast track His ongoing outpouring of His Spirit over Nigeria and Africa.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; pray that the two sticks of Judah and Ephraim will become one (Ps. 122, Ez. 37).
Pray for Israeli national unity and unity within the Government and its war cabinet.
Let there be help granted them from heaven to supernaturally execute this war against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, through the IDF.
Thank the Lord and bless His name (Ps. 105, 118).
Sound the shofar.
May Yeshua our Chief intercessor strengthen and encourage you with victory and breakthrough as you watch and pray with him this season.
