*GIVING*

*PHILLIPIANS 4:18*
18. ‎But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

‎The Phillipians church was a good example of a giving church. They sent support to Paul as often as they had opportunity. Paul acknowledged that he had all and abound, he was full, having received of Epaphroditus, the things which they sent.

‎Giving is part of our responsibility in the kingdom. In fact, God gave us His only Son, and also with Him freely give us all things. We must resemble our Father God who is a giver.

In the book of Luke 6:38, the scripture says, *"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”* So, let us give to one another most especially people God is using to bless us in the work of the ministry.

Our Father God is a giving God, and as children of a giving Father, we must also be a giver. Keep giving if you don't want to lack in life, because givers don't lack. Hallelujah!

May the Lord give you a giving heart to give according to His will, in Jesus' Name.

*THE LORD IS YOUR KEEPER*

*PSALM 121:5*
5. ‎The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

‎Are you afraid of not being protected? The text above says the Lord is our keeper and our shade. He will preserve us from every danger and calamity. We can rest on Him knowing fully well that He is able to keep us.

Psalm 121:7 says, *"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul."* Preservation is of the Lord, we cannot preserve ourselves. With all our smartness, education, skills or intellects, we cannot be at the right place at the right time. Only God can make us be at the right place at the right time as we follow His leading. We need to be sensitive to the indwelling Spirit living inside us.

Isaiah 26:3 says, *"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."* Let our minds stay on God's Word, because we trust Him and He will lead us in the paths of peace.

Always remember that, as we trust in Him, He will lead us alright, and keep us in the path of peace.

Father, continue to preserve us and our loved ones by Your mercy and grace, in Jesus' Mighty Name. Thank You Lord.

*MAKE ENQUIRY*

*2 SAMUEL 2:1*
1. ‎And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

‎After the death of Saul and God giving David victory from running away from Saul, David now enquired of the Lord of his next move. And the Lord directed him. He asked God again for details, God gave him specific place to go.
‎
‎Children of God, we need to ask God about our next move in life. Always seek the mind of God concerning your journeys in life. Don't lean unto your own understanding. Depend on God to guide you in all your decisions in life, because it is Him who has the plan for your life.

Throughout the Bible, we see that even before David embarked on a battle journey, He would always seek the Lord's guidance and the Lord always guided him to victory. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, seek the mind of God concerning that issue you want to embark on, traveling, marital, career, business, etc.

The God we serve is able to lead us in the path of peace, and will always guide us the right way.

Father, help me never to lean on my own understanding. Guide me in ways You want me to go concerning any matters of my life, in Jesus' Mighty Name.

*RIGHTEOUSNESS*

*ROMANS 10:4*
4. ‎For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

There are two righteousness defined in the Bible, the righteousness of the law, which the children of Israel operated under, and the righteousness by faith in Christ Jesus which the children of God should operate under today.

Then, it was right doing that leads to right living and of course, we know that the children of God failed woefully. Thank God there is a way of atonement for our sins. Today, right believing in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ will always cause you to live right. ‎Today, we have something better and glorious that if you truly key in to it, it will always cause you victory. It is called the righteousness of God which is by faith in the Lord Jesus. For what the law of Moses could not do, God ends the control of sin in our lives by Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection.

Paul said in Philippians 3:9, "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"
Does that mean we should be lawless because of our righteousness by faith? Of course not, but our justification now comes from the righteousness of Christ. Believe and put your trust in that which Christ did for you, and you will become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Praise God!

Father, I thank You for Your righteousness imputed to me through Jesus Christ. I am Your righteousness in Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord! Hallelujah!

*ETERNAL EXCELLENCY*

*ISAIAH 60:15*
15. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

‎The scripture above promises us that rejection or being forsaken by men is not the end of your story as a child of God. God promises to make you an Eternal Excellency, a joy of many generations. Many who looked down on you in the time past will later look up to you.
‎
‎Eternal Excellency is an enduring, majestic state of beauty, pride, and honour that lasts forever instead of temporary shame. Are you going through some temporary shame right now? Let us believe and meditate on God's Word that says He will make us an Eternal Excellency concerning that matter.

God's Word is to be believed, declared and acted on. Never keep your mouth shut, declare His Word upon yourself on a daily basis. You shall see the glory of God manifesting in your life. Praise God.

Where you have been rejected and forsaken, the Lord is making you as an Eternal Excellency. Rejoice always. God is on your side.

*THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES INTERCESSION FOR US*

*ROMANS 8:26*
26. ‎Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The scripture above tells us that we don't know what we should pray as we supposed, but the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities with groaning which cannot be uttered. ‎When we pray in the Spirit, that is, praying in tongues, we come in partnership with the Holy Spirit to deal with any challenges on our way. Ordinarily, our human mind is limited, and in most cases, we don't even know how to pray, and what to pray for, to get results. So, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities or weaknesses with groaning which cannot be uttered in our own human language, and or, expression.

The Holy Spirit knows the blueprint of God for your life, He knows what is hindering you to access your miracles, He knows how to present your case before the Father for speedy answers, etc. Therefore, let us engage the Holy Spirit by switching to His language; when we bring our petitions before God. The Holy Spirit will give you the utterance, you will speak it if you have been baptized by the Holy Spirit. By that, we can say our spirit is praying with the help of the Holy Spirit. God bless you.

Father, thank You for the gift of tongues You have given to us as a body of Christ. Help me to make judicious use of it so I can enjoy wonderful miracles in my life, in Jesus' Name.

*AUGUST 17, 2026*

*NO CONDEMNATION*

*ROMANS 8:1*
1. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus (NLT).

If you have confessed, and accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, you saved, so, there is no condemnation for you. There is hope for you in your future and not condemnation, because you are in Christ Jesus.

‎The scripture above says there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ. Jesus Christ is now your rightful owner after you are saved and nothing can take you out of His hand (John 10:28). Your death or being alive belongs to Him (Romans 14:8).

‎So, if you belong to Christ, you are no longer in the flesh but in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit now indwells in you and you are given the Holy Spirit to abide with you forever (John 14:16-17). Glory Hallelujah!

When you go astray, or miss it in any way, as a genuine child of God, the Holy Spirit will lead you to repentance. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Praise God.

*ETERNAL GLORY*

*1PETER 5:10*
10. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

‎There is no suffering we go through in this world that can be compared to the Glory that will later be revealed in us. God promised to restore, to strengthen us even after we have suffered a while.

I know that no suffering is palatable but comparing our sufferings with the weight of glory ahead of us, we know that, the present sufferings are insignificant compared to our eternal glory in Christ.

The New Living Translation puts it this way, *"In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation."* The Lord does restore, support, strengthen and put us on a firm foundation. Glory Hallelujah!

No matter your sufferings, it could also be a test to our character. How do you handle the suffering or persecution that comes your way? In suffering, our character can be developed or strengthened. Remember, in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world. God bless you.

Father, thank You for the weight of glory ahead of me, despite my little suffering, I will continue to rejoice in You Lord, in Jesus' Great Name. Amen!

*YOU ARE DEAD TO SIN*

*ROMANS 6:11*
11. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Before you were saved, you were dead in sin. Sin is your habitat but after you are saved, you are dead to sin. That is how to reckon yourself. Don't respond to your struggling or temptations, if you have been truly saved, declare your salvation. That is where your victory lies over your struggles or temptations.

All the struggles you maybe going through now is in your soul not in your spirit, your spiritman is born again. So, you need to respond accurately by declaring your righteous identity in Christ. Confess your righteousness of God in Christ Jesus with faith in your heart.

At times, you wake up in the morning and don't feel righteous. Feelings deceive most times. You know you have been truly saved, don't go by your feelings, go by God's Word. Believe what God's Word says about your being saved and declare it with boldness. Hallelujah!

By reckoning yourself that you are indeed dead to sin and you are now alive to God, you will gain victory over that struggles or temptations that may come your way. God bless you.

*OUR PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE*

*PSALM 46:1*
1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

‎Our God is our refuge and strength. A refuge is a safe place, shelter, or protection from danger, trouble or hardship. ‎In the Bible, strength means much more than physical power. It describes a deep inner courage, endurance, and the spiritual power that comes from trusting God. The scripture teaches that human power is weak, true strength is a gift from God to help you face hard times and do His will.

‎When we are in trouble, God is our present help. He will never leave you alone in your time of trouble. Recognize that He is with you and respond accordingly to Him and it shall be well with you.

The text above says He is a very present help in trouble. That means, He cannot be late on your case, He is right beside you. In fact, He lives in you. Reach out quickly to Him before, or when trouble comes your way and He will help you. Praise God.

‎*PRAYER*
Father, I know You will never leave me nor forsake me. You are my very present help in trouble. Thank You Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen!
