*THE HANDS OF GOD —PART 1*

*DANIEL 10:10*
10. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

Daniel was on his knees praying to God, the hand of the Lord touched him and set him upon his knees and palms. That is the powerful hands of God. The merciful hand of God that was stretched to him. It was this hand that delivered his answers to prayer to him that had been withheld for twenty one days by the Prince of Persia.

If God stretched forth His hands into your life, it will lift you up from any position you find yourself. I don't know the down casting position you are in, I don't know the challenges you are passing through, the hands of God will work upon your life. Our God is powerful, the extent you know Him is the extent of what you are going to enjoy from Him. Trust the Lord with all your heart, and rely solely on Him, and He will stretch His hands upon you, and that hands will help you and that hands will lift you up. Amen!

Again in the book of 1Kings chapter 18 verse 46, the hand of God was upon Elijah and he ran faster than Ahab that was on a horse. The person that was running barefooted outran the person that was on a horse. It is only the hands of God that can do that.

The hands of God do the supernatural things that are beyond the natural. The hands of the Lord do things that are difficult to believe, it does things that negate scientific knowledge, it negates philosophy. That is what the hands of God can do. I pray the hands of God will be upon you and give you supernatural speed where there is delay in your life. The hands of the Lord will be upon you, your family, your children, your business and all that concern you, and things will begin to work in your life positively in Jesus' Name. Always pray for the hand God to daily be upon your life, business and career, etc.

May the powerful hands of God that makes it easy for one to succeed rest upon you now! May every crawling destiny receive speed now, in Jesus' Mighty Name! Hallelujah!

*DON'T SPEAK CARELESSLY*

*MATTHEW 12: 37*
37. For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned.

Many people do not know that the tongue is a powerful tool that can be used either positively by God to bring about your lifting or negatively by the devil to bring you down or put you in trouble. In the passage today, the Lord Jesus said "by thy words thou shall be justified and by thy words thou shall be condemned". This shows how potent the words of our mouth is. Be careful of the words of your mouth so that it will not stand against you.

There are many people today that are languishing in jail that what actually caused it was the words of their mouth. The devil can gain access to your life through your tongue or rather the words that you speak. So, be careful, don't let your words put you in trouble.

There is a story in the Bible of a man who put himself into trouble through the words of his mouth. In the book of 2Kings chapter 7 verses 1 and 2, there was a famine in the land that was so bad that people was killing their children and boiling them to eat to survive. In the midst of it, the king of Israel sought Prophet Elisha.
1. *"Then Elisha said, Hear ye the words of the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of Samaria (2King 7:1—2).*
2. "Then a lord in whose hand the king leaned said, Behold if the LORD will open the windows in heaven, this cannot be. And Elisha said, Behold thou shall see it with your eyes, but shall not eat thereof".
The prophecy actually came to pass. The man saw it but did not eat out of it because he was trampled upon by the people and he died.

Brethren, be careful of the words that you speak. Be careful of the words that come out of your mouth. Don't speak carelessly. Whatever a man says shall be used against him for the Bible says, "by thy words thou shall be justified and by thy words thou shall be condemned". Watch your tongue, watch what comes out of your mouth. May your mouth not put you in trouble.

*PRAYER:*
Father, guide my tongue to speak good words always, words that will not put me into trouble, words that will edify others in Jesus' Name.

*OCTOBER 1, 2026*

*WE ARE THE SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE*

*JOHN 10:7; 9—10*
7. Then said Jesus unto them again, verily verily I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
9. I am the door by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture.
10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.

In the Biblical references sheep occurs frequently. This is because it represents the animal which had great significance for many households, because it brings them income and survival. Sheep were precious extensions to the family. While the profession of a Shepherd is not seen much today, it is still seen as something that represents the follower of the Lord, who rely on His grace and compassion within the wilderness.

Sheep refers to Christ followers. We are His flocks. Wolves as in the passage in relation to thieves, were constant threats to the flock stealing away what they could. As the parable of the lost sheep illustrates, a good Shepherd will stop to retrieve a member of their flock, for each is as precious as the others. In that illustration of the lost sheep, God is telling us that each of us as a believer or a Christian is precious in the sight of the Lord and that was why the Shepherd left the remaining ninety nine and searched for the one that was lost.

This is what John meant, if we are lost, we may be redeemed. After redemption, we may live life more abundantly knowing that our Saviour will not abandon us. A life without God however, is a life of straying away willingly from His Presence. And it is a life that impoverished us. That is a life that makes us poor. It makes us isolated from Him and to be living in fear. But when we are within the sheepfold, that is we walk in love, we live by His Words, we are in fellowship with God and with other brethren, then we will have life more abundantly. We cannot be destroyed or killed by the wolves of this world.

Brethren, be that sheep that is within the sheepfold who does not wander away. Praise God!

*PRAYER:*
Father, lead me to Your pastures, where I may be safe under Your salvation, and help me never to stray away, in Jesus' Precious Name. Amen!

*HIGH PRIEST*

*HEBREWS 4:13*
13. ‎For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus is our High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. An high priest is a man taken among men to offer their sacrifices and gifts before God. During the Old Testament time, Aaron or other of his successors as high priests also make atonement for themselves because they are not perfect. They have their infirmities too. A high priest must be compassionate on those that are ignorant and those that are out of the way.

But Jesus is our High Priest who is without sins and always makes intercession for us. A prophet is God's mouthpiece to the people. He receives from God and speaks the mind of God to the people while an high priest is taken from among people to represent them before God.

In ancient Israel, the hope of all Israelites is dependent on their high priest. If their high priest is accepted for a year, they have blessings for that year, if he is rejected for a year, they are in trouble for that particular year.

The above text shows that Jesus is our High Priest who has no infirmities but can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities because Himself was tempted at the cross at all points but without sin. Thank You Jesus!!

Father, I thank You for giving me Jesus Christ. He is my High Priest, and He is always making intercession before You for my sake. I am grateful Lord, in Jesus' Name.

*ENTERING INTO HIS REST*

*HEBREWS 4:8*
8. ‎For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

The word Jesus used above was referring to Joshua. Joshua led the children of Israel into the promised land which is not the ultimate rest God has in mind. What Joshua did was a type and shadow of our true rest in Christ Jesus.

There is an ultimate rest in Christ Jesus and that is the salvation Jesus Christ has brought to us. So, everyone must labour to enter that rest. You must ensure that you are genuinely saved trusting in the finished work of Christ. The book of Hebrews was written to migrate the children of Israel from Judaism to Christianity which we are also learning from today.

Hebrews 4:10 says, "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." So, we must cease from our own works to earn salvation, we must believe God through the finished work of Christ.

Friends, don't follow after the same example of unbelief that happened to the children of Israel and prevented them from entering the promised land. Praise God!

Father, give us the grace to cease from our own works and put our trust in the finished work of Christ, for our eternal rest, in Jesus' Great Name.

‎
*UNBELIEF IS A ROBBER*

*HEBREWS 3:19*
19. ‎So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
‎
‎Majority of the children of Israel could not enter the promised land because of their unbelief. Only Joshua, Caleb and the generations of children born in the wilderness entered the promised land. The rest could not enter.
‎
These same people were the ones that provoked Moses to anger that made him disobeyed God's instruction that prevented him from entering the promised land. God now used Joshua to bring the children of Israel to the promised land.
‎
‎Many of the children of God rebelled against God in the wilderness and perished. Hebrews 3:18 says, "And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?"

Children of God, don't let unbelief rob you of God's great blessings for you.

Father, have mercy on me and deliver me from every form of unbelief, in Jesus' Name.

*JUDGE NOT BY APPEARANCE*

*1 SAMUEL 16:7*
7. ‎But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
‎
The text above is the story of Samuel going to anoint a king for the children of Israel after Saul had failed. Samuel saw Eliab the first son of Jesse as the right person to be anointed to take over from Saul because he was a very good looking person and of good height. Samuel was choosing based on appearance, but God does not see as man sees. He looks at the heart of a man and not the appearance.
‎
God told Prophet Samuel not to look at Eliab's appearance. You see, the true prophet can also make mistakes. Many times, we also have missed opportunities without truly knowing what is inside those things before us.
‎
We should not be quick to conclude on any issues concerning people without truly knowing what they carry, or what they are going through. Don't judge by appearances, learn to be sensitive to be able to truly discern who is who. God looks beyond the surface and sees our hearts. We should learn to do the same. Praise God!‎

*PRAYER*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me to be able to recognise any opportunity You have prepared for me, and to take advantage of it, in Jesus' Great Name.

*I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST*

*PHILLIPIANS 4:13*
13. ‎I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
‎
‎Through Christ we can do all things. God releases strength to us through our Lord Jesus Christ.
‎
Paul was talking in this chapter that he knows how to abound or suffer needs. Every child of God must learn that. ‎Through Christ, you can do exploits, even great exploits. In Christ, nothing can limit you. No obstacles can withstand you. So, rise up and begin to do great exploits.
‎
Through Jesus Christ, we can do valiantly and exceedingly well. Glory to God!

‎*PRAYER*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Give me the grace to do great exploits, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

*WATCH AND PRAY*

*COLOSSIANS 4:2*
2. ‎Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
‎
‎‎Apostle Paul admonished us the believers in Christ through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to continue in prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
‎
‎We should not neglect devoting ourselves to prayer and as well as watching with thanksgiving. This world is full of its own challenges and difficulties, but as saints of God, we must watch and pray ceaselessly both individually and collectively.
‎
‎The Bible also says we should not neglect the assembly of the saints as we see the day approaching. Ensure you participate in services in your local church. Don't neglect the fellowshipping and praying together of the brethren. You too as an individual must not be wearing in praying, and as you pray be watching for God's answers because He always does.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Give me the grace to continually watch and pray, in Jesus' Great Name.

*SEPTEMBER 23, 2026*

*MORTIFY THE FLESH*

*COLOSSIANS 3:5*
5. ‎Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
‎
‎It means to subdue, discipline, or put to death physical desires, appetites, and sinful impulses through self-denial or spiritual discipline.

One reason why we need to mortify our members which are upon the earth is because we are seated in Christ Jesus in Heavenly place. So you put to death the deeds of the body. The Spirit of God must be the one controlling you and not your flesh.

Verse 8 of the above scripture says to put off anger, wrath, malice, filthy communication out of your mouth. He also encouraged us to put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge of God. Therefore, you are above sin. Sin must not control you. Live a life of dominion over sin. God bless you.
