CONFESSION FOR TODAY-Sunday 3rd May, 2026

I’m not scared.

Not scared to protest.
Not scared to speak.
Not even scared to die for what is right.

But here’s the reality in Nigeria…

You can’t just come out peacefully, hold a placard, speak your truth, and go home safely.

Why?

Because of one thing — fear.

And that fear is backed by the military.

Let’s stop pretending.

At the toll gate, who pulled the trigger? Not politicians. The military.

Nigerians are not weak. Nigerians are not cowards. If that fear wasn’t there, people would flood the streets, demand accountability, and reshape this country peacefully — just like it’s done in other nations.

So ask yourself the real question:

Why does the military keep standing with power… even when that same system doesn’t fully take care of them?

We’ve seen stories of unpaid benefits. We’ve seen frustration. So what exactly are they protecting?

Because the truth is simple:

The day the military says “No” — everything changes.

Politicians will sit up overnight.
Power will shift instantly.
Nigeria will move forward.

Because take away the force behind the government… and the people regain their voice.

So yes, I’ll say it boldly:

The real problem is not just bad leadership.

It’s the system that uses force to silence the people.

And until that changes, nothing truly changes.

🚨FINANCIAL IGNORANCE ISN'T AN EXCUSE 😔

The man doesn't need more money please, he needs coaching. My opinion though.

In the 90's N22,500 wasn't a small money .
Then you can literally cook with N50
Wait ooo

Contextual factors for the 1997 valuation include:

Purchasing Power: In 1997, ₦22,500 could purchase roughly 90 bags of cement, as a bag cost about ₦250 at the time.

Assets: It was noted that a fairly used Volkswagen Beetle cost around ₦15,000 in 1997.

Salary Structure: This amount was described as a high income, especially considering that the highest-paid professors in federal universities earned less than ₦7,000 per month.

Wait oo, so 22k is like 3million to 5million.

What happened then?

Second thought,
Did he not care about the terms of the contract?

I don't like when people's ignorance or shortcomings are used as a tool against organizations that are innocent.

Sha I rest my case

Aside from the sharp dip at the start of February, Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies have been trading in a tight range. Could March’s key economic events shift the tone?

Investors are watching the Fed’s interest rate decision, the Bank of Japan’s policy move, and President Trump’s first visit to Beijing in eight years, where tariffs are expected to feature at the top of the agenda. Here’s what to watch, and why it matters for crypto in the month ahead.

February recap

February began with another leg lower for Bitcoin and the broader crypto market, extending a period of uncertainty that, when viewed from a wider perspective, has persisted since October last year.

The market-cap leader fell from the upper end of $78,000 to lows of around $60,000 at the start of the month. There were several attempts at a breakout, but all proved unsuccessful. Apart from a few whipsaws, the price traded in a relatively tight range between $65,000 and $70,000 for most of the month.

Among the major developments during the period was the unwinding of the yen carry trade from late January into early February 2026, triggered by signals from the Bank of Japan of tighter monetary policy, including indications of rate hikes beyond 0.75%.

Ongoing uncertainty around the progress, or lack thereof, of the Crypto Market Structure Bill also weighed on sentiment, as disagreements between members of the banking sector and the crypto industry continued to delay the legislation. “While sentiment remains negative in crypto markets, we continue to believe that a potential approval of the market structure legislation most likely by mid-year could serve as a positive catalyst for crypto markets into the second half of the year,” JP Morgan analysts said in a report.

Markets were also assessing President Donald Trump’s leading candidate for the role of Federal Reserve Chair, Kevin Warsh, who is expected to take on the role around May this year.

*THE WORD EXPRESSED IN YOU*
*Tuesday, March 17th 2026*
*Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD*

*But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God (2 Corinthians 4:2).*

There’s a difference between telling the truth and the manifestation of the truth. Our opening scripture isn’t talking about merely being truthful about a matter or subject; rather, it’s about living the Word, for the Word is truth (John 17:17).

The manifestation of truth, therefore, is the manifestation of the Word, the Word expressed in and through you. It’s when your life becomes a living Bible, so much so that others can literally read the Word of God in you. That’s Christianity! It’s life in the Word, by the Word and through the Word.

We’re the offspring of the Word. 1 Peter 1:23 says, _*“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”*_ You’re born of the Word and therefore are called to express the Word. Your life is the unveiling of the Word of God. James 1:18 says, _*“Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”*_

This should further help you understand why the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, declares that we’re the epistles of Christ: _*“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart”*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3).

Every step the Lord Jesus took when He walked the earth was the Word of God in action. He’s the living, active, incarnate Word: _*“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”*_ (John 1:14). 1 John 4:17 says, _*“…as he is, so are we in this world.”*_ You’re the Word alive today, walking, talking and blessing lives. Have this consciousness. Live the life God has called you to live: the manifestation of the truth.

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, I thank you that your Word lives in me and is expressed through me. My life is a manifestation of truth, a living epistle read by men. I walk in the consciousness that I am the Word alive today, bringing blessing, illumination and righteousness to all in my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY*

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

*‭‭2 Corinthians 2:4 NIV*
For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you.

*‭‭James 1:18 NIV*
He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
