Faith Assembly Prophetic Ministry was founded on March 1, 2003 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, West Africa. The first Church service was held under a mango tree at 22 Omon Avenue, off Emudiafe, Alegbo in Effurn. It was a night vigi service which had about 50 persons in attendance. As a young pastor, Bishop Onyeke O. Onyeke served his mentor and pastor, Rev. Simon Unuzonu, the general overseer of United Believers Bible church, Effurun. He dutifully served under this great man of God for several years until he received a call to step aside, so as to be able to actualise God’s mandate for his life. A mandate to set the captives free (deliverance), reach out to the dying souls (evangelism), needy (Roslat), and reveal God’s mind to the people (prophecy).
