*TOPIC: WONDERS OF JOYFUL FATHERHOOD*

*Yesterday was set aside and called Fathers' day around the world. Therefore, I consider it good to charge and honour true fathers indeed. It will be proper to explore the dynamics of true fatherhood vis-a-vis the wonders of joyful fatherhood *(Prov.23:24).*
God our heavenly father is looking for Fathers to represent Him on earth.

THE PROPHETIC AGENDA OF THE LORD:
*"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children,and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse"(Mal.4:6).*
also *Lk.1:17.*

fatherhood is not in place or it is not functional, a curse becomes inevitable.
The opposite is equally true. Thus, there is a bonding between fathers and children expected to be in every family that will attract the blessing of the Lord unto the wonders of joyful fatherhood.

are often overwhelmed by so much pressure in and around them that they neglect the most fulfilling assignment of fatherhood. This is the inherent purpose within all men. But becoming a joyful father is not automatic. It takes TIME, EFFORT and MONEY.

*DEFINITION OF TRUE FATHERHOOD:*
are two words used in the Bible that are translated "father."
The Old Testament Hebrew word is *"Ab" or "Abba,"* while the New Testament Greek word is *"pater."*

words denote very basic concepts, which include the following:
*(a.)Source* - One who originates.
*(b.)Nourisher* - One who nourishes what he originated.
*(c.)Sustainer*
*(d.)Supporter* - One who gives true and lasting support to what he produced/created like the heavenly Father.
*(e.)Founder* - One who gives an unshakeable foundation to what he founded.
*(f.) Protector*
*(g)Teacher* - One who provides nutrients and resources that develop, enrich, expand, grow, and deploy that which comes from him.

Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. [18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

When we read the words written in the bible, the are not just stories of what God did in the lives of people in the time past or promises of what God is going to do in the future. The are prophecies about us, about our future, about what we can have or become.
Isn't it wonderful to know that God says he will bless and multiply us? We are connected to Abraham, we are blessed in him, the promises made to him is made to us. Above that is the fact that God's words does not fail. This means if God said we are blessed, nothing in this universe can stop that from been our reality. Knowing this truth builds up our dependence and trust in his words.
Knowing that his words can be depended upon, we should have the confidence to believe what it says concerning us and declare it over our lives.
He has given us the prophecies about our future, it is written in his word (the bible). If you understand this truth about the bible, you will definitely make out time to look into it and study it.
Every genuine prophet is one who God's word is with.
Make out time to feed on the word. Every other thing may fail, but God's word will never fail.
Why should we declare God's word over our lives? It is guaranteed to produce results. God himself said, "no word that comes out of my mouth will return back to me empty" the word of God will always work, it doesn't matter what the conditions are.
Build your life around God's word, you will never regret it.

When you get a new TV, a manual or a guide book is giving to you. When you get a new appliance there's a manual or guide book that is been giving to you to follow so you can know how to operate the item obtained. The Bible is the manual for living, it is the guide book on what to do, how to do it and where or when to do it. You'll be making a big mistake of you decide to life through life without the manual. Study to show thyself approved a workman needed to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15)
