BIBLE WORDS AND MEANINGS, 2

DANIEL 2:20
"And said: Praise be to the name of God forever and ever; wisdom and power are his."

We continue from where we stopped yesterday, the meaning of Bible words.
1. SON OF GOD is a title used for Jesus stressing His divinity as co-existent with the Father.
2. SON OF MAN is a title Jesus most frequently used for Himself stressing both His divinity as the prophesied "One" in the Old Testament and His identification with humans, DAN 7:13; 8:17; MATT 8:20.
3. SANCTIFICATION is the process in salvation by which God conforms the believer's life and character to the life and character of Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Rom 15:16; 1 COR 6:11; 1 PETER 1:2.
4. TRINITY is God's revelation of Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit unified as one in the Godhead and yet distinct in person and function.
5. THE VIRGIN BIRTH is the miraculous birth of Christ in which Mary remained a virgin as she conceived and bore Jesus through the intervention and ministry of the Holy Spirit, MATT 1:18-25.
6. SIN is the universal human condition of broken relationships with God involving missing the mark or falling short of God's intention for humanity and breaking God's laws for life. This condition is remedied by belief in Jesus Christ as Savior from sin and Lord of life.
7. LAMB OF GOD is a title for Jesus that highlights His sacrifice for our sins and His victory over death, JOHN 1:29; 1 PETER 1:19.
8. MONOTHEISM is the belief and teaching in only one God, which is basic to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
9. BAPTISM is a church ordinance or observance that represents the believer's death to sin and resurrection to a new spiritual life, JOHN 3:5; ACTS 8:36; ROM 6:3-5.
10. DOCTRINE is the carefully formulated statement of teachings on a particular theme: a statement of an individual's or group's beliefs about the Christian gospel based on the teachings of the Bible.
11. ETERNAL LIFE is the quality and unending life with God, which is given to those who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
12. GRACE is the unmerited favor of God that provides our salvation, EPH 2:8.
13. INCARNATION is the act of the divine Son Jesus becoming human and enduring all the experiences that tempt us and cause us to suffer, PHIL 2:1-11; HEB 4:5.
14. THE GOSPELS are the four New Testament accounts of the life of Jesus Christ. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are called Synoptic Gospels because they relate many of the same events and teachings of Jesus Christ. John is the Fourth Gospel and tends to be more theological in nature, telling events and teachings not in the Synoptic.
Note, the gospel as a message is the good news of the redeeming work of God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

OCTOBER 2026: MY SEASON OF OVERCOMING DARKNESS (JOHN 1:5 - "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can not comprehend it").

WORD OF POWER: ROM 11:33; 1COR 1:25; JOB 28:28.

THE POWER OF GOD:
1. May the power and glory of the Lord be upon you in Jesus' name.
2. Any evil hand that is stretched against your glory is destroyed in Jesus' name.
3. I pray for healing of any case of blood afflictions in Jesus' name.

RISE UP.

John 5:7-9: "Sir, the invalid replied, I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get on, someone else goes down ahead of me." Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk. At once, the man was cured; He picked up his mat and walked."

Hello, good friend. How did your day go? I hope everything is alright, and your lovely family too? Welcome home from the goings and comings of today. Bless you. I hope you have taken dinner and enjoyed a warm bath ? Please, take good care of yourself. The man in our texts had been in a bad situation for thirty-eight years, and his condition seems incurable. Think. Thirty-eight years of limitations and depression. Any time an opportunity comes for him to be healed, someone else takes his place. It was a classic case of "failure and disappointment at the edge of breakthrough." But, glory to God, Jesus met him by the pool side and cured him of his affliction. Listen, God is stepping into your circumstances right now. Any case of failure at the edge of breakthrough or disappointment and rising and falling is canceled today. FAILURE IS NOT FINAL. The sun waved goodbye and went on a journey. It will be back in the morning. My prayers for you tonight:
1.THIS SEASON YOU SHALL ENCOUNTER GOD'S MIRACLE POWER.
2.THOSE WHO PLAN TO DISGRACE YOU SHALL EXPERIENCE DEFEAT.
3.I DECREE PEACE OVER EVERY STORM. Yes, I know you are done with all the necessary things for the evening. It's time to settle down for another night of deep sleep. Bless your family. NO MORE SHAME. Climb unto your bed now and close your eyes and enter the blissful state of dreams and good sleep. Wishing you a pleasant night.

LUKE 2:40
"And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him."

The Christian religion has certain words that only believers can use because the words are peculiar to the church. Let's look at some of these words. 1. ANGEL: An angel is a messenger from God, either heavenly or human (HEB 1:4; 2SAM 19:27) who delivers God's message of instructions and warning, etc. 2. CHRISTOLOGY: the technical term used to describe a study of the nature and work of Christ. 3. CONVERSION: God's act of changing a person's life in response to the person's turning to Christ in repentance and faith from some other beliefs or from no belief. 4. ESCHATOLOGY: the study of last things or the end time when Christ will return. 5. HOLY OF HOLIES: the innermost and most sacred area of the Tabernacle and Temple, where God was present and where on the day of Atonement sacrifices were made by the high priest (in the OT). 6. IMAGE OF GOD: that in human nature which reflected God at creation but was marred in the "fall" by sin and is being restored as believers are formed into the image of Christ, 1COR 11:7; 2COR 4:4; COL 3:10. 7. MIRACLE: an act of God beyond human understanding that inspires wonder, displays God's awesomeness, and leads people to recognise God at work in the world. 8. OMNIPOTENT: God's unlimited power to do that which is within His holy and righteous character. 9. OMNIPRESENCE: God's unlimited presence in all places at all times. 10. OMNISCIENCE: God's unlimited knowing of things. 11. SOVEREIGNTY: God's freedom from outward restraint; His unlimited rule of and control over His creation. 12. KINGDOM OF GOD: God's sovereign rule in the universe and in the hearts of all those who believe in Christ.

WORD OF POWER: ISAIAH 11:2; MATT 13:54; 1COR 1:24.

THE POWER OF GOD:
1. Every demonic structure still standing is destroyed in Jesus' name.
2. May the Lord announce your name to your helpers in Jesus' name.
3. Any veil of ignorance is removed in Jesus' name.

FIND A WAY.

Mark 2:3-4: "Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying."

I welcome you back home from this day's activities of working and hustling, etc. I hope all is well, and I believe you are strong too. Now that you are home, it's time to have your bath and take your dinner 🍽. The sick man (in the text) needed help to get to the presence of Jesus Christ for healing because he was paralysed and could not walk. His four friends came to his rescue, yes, but they were stopped by the crowd at the door of the Lord Jesus Christ. What to do? They consulted among themselves and determined to get to Jesus by whatever means possible. They found a way by breaking the roof over where Jesus was sitting. Did they break the roof? Yes. Ummmn. What are you willing to do to achieve your dreams? Are you ready to break walls or glass ceilings in order to become? You must find a way. Friend, help is on the way. Just believe. God will not forsake you, He will truly help you. So, night is here when the body must relax in sleep. My prayers for you tonight:
1.THIS WEEK GOD WILL INCREASE YOUR CAPACITY.
2.WHEN THE WICKED STRETCH THEIR HANDS AGAINST YOU, IT SHALL BE CUT OFF.
3.MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY WITH TESTIMONIES IN JESUS NAME. As you round up activities for the evening and prepare to shut down for the night, may the peace of God saturate your soul. FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE. And as you climb unto your bed for a deserving sleep, may your sleep be good and your dreams be pleasant. Have a great night. Shalom.
