*EYPF/ EGBEMA YOUTH COUNCIL EYC HELD HER SECOND LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY INAUGURATION TODAY , 12TH AUGUST, 2022, AT THE EBIS HOTEL HALL, AMUKPE, SAPELE, LGA, DELTA STATE.*

The second (2 ) mobile legislature of the national youth council in Egbema Ijaw ethnic nationality has just been inaugurated today under the dynamic leadership of the national executive council president General, *Comr City Kelvin Eferusuoa.*

The legislative assembly is saddled with the responsibilities of making and interpreting the laws, screenings of the standing/ setting temporal committees responsible for passing annual budgets and other matters which are assigned to the legislative arm by the Executives council that is guiding the entire council.

It comprises of twenty two (22) members, two (2) each from all eleven communities. The parliamentary assembly is headed by the SPEAKER and the speakership is vested on Comr. Abraham Igbiriki who Will be foreseeing the affairs of the Legislative matters in every seating for the period of three years.

This is the body that could interprete the law for the executive if any breach of law arises among the executives and as well the legislators.

They could equally draft, review and amend the constitution of the council as at when due.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My name is Comr. City Kelvin Eferusuoa ( EYC President elect).
First my gratitude goes to God almighty the giver of life and who made everything possible for us to attain a peaceful and transparent election in Egbema kingdom.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to the Electoral committee for conducting such a Crystal clear election. I commend all efforts put to play for this wonderful achievement.

I want to specially appreciate all communities presence, critical Stakeholders, delegates, observers, elders, and everyone that grace the just concluded election.
