TOPIC: LIVE BY YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY: Galatians 1:15-16

MEMORY VERSE: Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37 (NKJV)

Discovering your divine purpose in life is one of the most important things you can achieve in life. There are many who exit this earth without discovering their purpose of living. If you fail to discover your divine purpose, there is no way you can fulfil it. That’s why it is imperative for you to discover your divine purpose. You may not be wealthy or sound like other people but if you discover your divine purpose for living, you are fulfilled in life. Knowing and doing exactly why you are in this world is what brings fulfilment and contentment. When you are living by your divine purpose, you are constantly aware of what God has called or assigned you to do on earth. You will not be reminded by people of what you are supposed to do. When you are constantly persuaded or motivated by people to do what you are supposed to do, then it simply means you have not discovered your divine purpose. The purpose of a thing is the reason it exists.
Your purpose is the reason you exist on this earth. In the opening scripture, you could see that Jesus responded to Pilate’s question by affirming the purpose of His existence. He knew what His purpose was in this world. He came to establish God’s kingdom and redeem mankind from sin and its consequences. All He did while on earth was to fulfil His purpose on earth. You can deduce from His response to His mother and Joseph in Luke 2:49 (NKJV) that He was fully aware of His purpose: “And He said to them, ‘Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?’” Permit me to ask you this all important question, as you read this morning devotional, what is your life’s purpose? What are you trying to achieve in life? What you are doing now, is that God’s purpose for your life? Do you find contentment and fulfilment in what you are doing? Are you a minister of the gospel, businessman/woman, politician, teacher, musician, etc? Are you truly convinced that what you are doing is the purpose of God for your life? Until purpose is discovered, life is meaningless. Seek the face of God to discover your purpose. It is only the creator who can acquaint you with your original purpose (Jeremiah 1:4-10). May God unravel your purpose of living to you, in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE DAY
1. Father, thank You for a new day, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, unravel to me, through dream, vision, insight and revelation, Your original purpose for my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. I decree that I will not miss God’s purpose for my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.

CONFESSION
I confess that I have clarity of my divine purpose on earth. My divine purpose predates my birth and I have discovered and keep discovering His plans for my life, day by day. I’m succeeding, fulfilling and walking in my divine purpose, in the name of Jesus.

TOPIC: YOU ARE JUSTIFIED BY YOUR WORDS

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY: John 6:63

MEMORY VERSE: For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Matthew 12:37 (NKJV)

Words are powerful. They have the capacity to justify and condemn you. God responds to you based on your words. The words of your mouth reveal your salvation.
The christian journey starts with words and end with words. The scripture states in Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” So, you can see that the confirmation of your salvation is determined by the words or confession of your mouth. Believing in the heart is important but more important is the confession of your mouth that authenticates your salvation. Now let’s take note of our opening scripture on what it did not say. It didn’t say that by your works you will be justified or by your works you will be condemned. It says by your words and not by your works. Works are good but based on this scriptural verse, words supersede works. Your words are powerful because they are a revelation of who you are and what comes from your spirit. Your words have the capacity to justify or condemn you. Words have creative power to create what you say or expect. Works are good but they are not what justify you. No matter how committed you are to the things of the kingdom if your words are negative, you can’t have your desired result. Even your salvation is confirmed by your words and not just by believing. Believing in the finished work of Christ on the cross establishes your righteousness. Believing is a part of the salvation process. While your confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ confirms your salvation. Your words are what authenticates your salvation. So, you are declared righteous by your words. Always speak words that justify. Speak good health, prosperity, success, holiness, purity, longevity, righteousness, etc. They are what God confirms (Isaiah 44:26). You are blessed!

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE DAY
1. Father, thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for my salvation.
2. In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree that I’m the righteousness of God in Christ and I remain in His righteousness forever.
3. This day, I speak favour, prosperity and good health into all areas of my life, in the name of Jesus.

CONFESSION
I confess that I’m the righteousness of God in Christ. I live in His righteousness. It is my habitat and my place of domicile. I remain constantly in His righteousness. I walk and live it. The blessings of the Lord are upon my life, day by day. I don’t struggle to be blessed. I’m already the blessed of the Lord in Christ, in Jesus’ name!
