Teaching Series: Understanding the Power of Vision (Pt. 1A)
Ministering: Bishop David Oyedepo
Every verdict of scripture is valid for life and applicable to the one who believes.
Your destiny grows with your growing love for God.
Your love for God is your greatest security.
When you are in love with God, you wear God!
It is better to be enslaved in God's will than to be free outside of His will.
It is not enough to be dedicated; it is vital to remain dedicated to fulfil your destiny in Christ.
When Jesus becomes the centre of your life, no hurricane of life can wipe you out.
Vision is the unfolding of God's plan as it relates to every Child of God. - Hab. 2:2-3
Reach out to locate God's plan for your life. Don't leave it to any prophet!
Your vision is written in the Book; find out what is written of you in the Book.
God has a settled plan for you, and that plan is fundamentally in His book, without prejudice to divine visions.
God’s Word is the platform for proving prophecies and visions.
Every vision that is not in line with the scriptures is a mere delusion.
Get your leading by following God, and let the dictates of the Scripture guide your steps.
Why You Need Vision
1. God knows the end from the beginning, and He alone can guide you. - Isa. 46:9-10, Ps. 23:2, 5 Ps. 105:15
2. No one knows the future like God, who created it. - Jer. 29:11, Prov. 3:6, James 4:14-15
God is committed to leading you when you are committed to following His plans.
What you don’t desire, you don’t deserve.
How to Access God's Vision for Your Life
1. Desire access to God's plan. - Rev. 1:9
2. Engage the altar of prayer to secure access. - Jer. 33:3
Biblical Proofs of a True Vision
1. Every true vision drives the visionary. - Hab. 2:2, 1 Cor. 9:26-27
2. Every true vision allays all fears. - Ps. 23:4, 29:25
3. Every true vision inbuilds God’s confidence that puts the believer in command of the supernatural. - Phil. 3:3; 1:6
