He was the first to give me an opportunity to hold the microphone and I am eternally grateful to God for his life.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 3, 2021.

THE LAW OF HIS WORD.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrews 11: 3).

Do you know that God created the world by the force of His word?

The Bible says, Good sustains what He made by the law of His word. He made it by His Word and keeps it by His Word. “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:7).

You may say the world is sustained by what scientist say. Scientist are good people and I love them. But what they understand is what they tell us. There is so much they don’t understand yet about the world. One way by which you know they don’t understand everything is that with all they know they can’t create another world.

They can’t create most of what they tell us in theory. What they do is to modify by tampering with God’s initial creation.

Most of their study is to understand and postulate but can’t create a new world.
The reason the world remains the way it is today is because God has put certain laws in motion and nobody can stop or change them. One of such laws is the law of sowing and reaping.
What you sow determines what you reap. What have you spoken (sown) with your words? Is it positive or negative, good or evil?

WORDS OF WISDOM: Words are powerful

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I speak positivity to my life, family, business, marriage, health and education . I shall excel in all I do, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY 1ST, DECEMBER 2021

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE’S DEVOTIONAL

OBEYING INSTRUCTIONS

“And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in the land, and I shall be with thee, and will bless thee; and unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swear unto Abraham thy father.” (Genesis 26:2-3)

The above passage was the instruction that God gave to Isaac. Beloved, I want you to understand that in order to carry out God's instructions some level of faith is required.

The Bible says, “...and by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) This scripture implies that a person may feel or look sick, but such a person is expected to act or demonstrate that he is healed. This is because it is an instruction. When this instruction is obeyed, it provokes the blessing of healing from God. You must understand that the words of the LORD are always for instructions. Even when there is a promise, it is an instruction. The Bible says, “Let the weak say I am strong.” It is an instruction and a blessing as well. There is always an instruction to be obeyed before God's blessings come upon a person.

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE'S DEVOTIONAL.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2021.

PROVOKE A NEW SEASON.

"And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep. And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul." (2 Chronicles 15:11- 12).

In 2 Chronicles 15:11, the Bible tells us that Asa renewed the altar of the LORD. Simply put, he provoked a new season. Why did he do it?

He was tired of suffering and having a life without peace. How did Asa renew the altar? He entered into a Covenant by sacrifice.

Another thing that Asa did to provoke a new season was that he separated himself from false gods and those who served them.

Even his mother, whom they called queen mother, was not spared (2 Chronicles 15: 16).

Asa resolved that if he had made a Covenant with God and his mother was serving idols, they cannot sit side by side so he dethroned his own mother.

No stone must be left unturned if you actually desire to provoke a change of season.

WORDS OF WISDOM: To enter a new season, you must separate yourself from sin.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I enter into my new season, in Jesus’ name.

As I enter December, my new season is guaranteed in the name that is above all other names. Jesus Christ.

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE'S DEVOTIONAL.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2021.

HEAR THE WORDS OF THE PROPHET.

"And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD." (2 Chronicles 15:8).

The above verse of scripture tells us that Asa heard the words of prophet Oded and obeyed the prophet. Many people cannot come out of affliction, depression, oppression and torment because they are rebellious.

They do not want anybody to correct them.
I, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor still have somebody I submit to without questioning.

The point I am trying to make is that from my young age and after putting about 50yrs into ministry, there is still a man that can tell me to shut up and I do. I obey because I want to live long and be relevant.

Many young Pastors have asked me how I have survived for this long.

Well, here is my secret: unconditional obedience to my Pastor.
No matter your knowledge, wealth or fame, be submissive to authority.

WORDS OF WISDOM: Be submissive to authority.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I rebuke every spirit behind depression, affliction and disappointment in my family, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE'S DEVOTIONAL.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 24, 2021.

FIGHT WITH WORDS.

“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11: 23).

Openly hidden in the above scripture is a fact regarding the power of words. The greatest weapon of spiritual warfare is words.

The enemy uses words to create mountains. You must use only words to counter and destroy those mountains.

The first thing the enemy does is to frighten you so that you will be scared. He intends to make you run so he can pursue. He may pursue physically or spiritually. He can use delay, disappointment and failure to fight. He may attack your health, finances, spiritual life and anything that is of value to you.

You must not surrender when you are in a fight. If any would turn to run or surrender, it should be the enemy. As David faced Goliath with boldness and humiliated him with covenanted words, so you should confront every enemy standing to resist and challenge you in Jesus name Amen.

WORDS OF WISDOM: Words are the greatest weapons of spiritual warfare.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Oh Lord, I come against every spirit behind delay, disappointment, poverty, sickness, or failure. I command you to bow to me, in the name of Jesus. Amen!

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE'S DEVOTIONAL.

TUESDAY NOVEMEBR 23, 2021.

THE SEASON OF OPPORTUNITY.
"And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.” (Genesis. 39: 20).

Don't be afraid. The things your enemies thought will kill you will simply promote you to your next level in life.

The Almighty God allowed Joseph’s dream haters to trouble him into fulfilling his destiny. I speak to you prophetically:

“This is the season you will meet people whom God will use to change your life for the better.

It is a season where you will be asked to do a kind of job that seems to have no meaning but will eventually turn out to be what will turn your life around for good.

I want you to quietly say this confession:

“LORD, my season of opportunity has come in the name of Jesus.” I see you coming out of that bo***ge in a hurry, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Joseph's garment was changed because a new season started in his life. Remember the bible says;

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cor. 5: 17).

WORDS OF WISDOM: Some trials and temptations happen for you to fulfil your God-given destiny.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I enter my place of rest in every area of life, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

WORD OF LIFE EAGLE'S DEVOTIONAL.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2021.

SUCH A TIME AS THIS.

“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place: but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed; and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4: 14).

When Mordecai learnt from Esther's messenger that she was unwilling to risk her life for her people, he did not give up. Rather, he made Esther to realise that God had a purpose for making her a queen at that particular time in the history of the Jews.

Do you know that in the work of God, nobody is indispensable?

In my own words, Mordecai was simply saying to Queen Esther: “Have you forgotten how the crown came on you? I took care of you. You were just like every other Jew in Babylonian captivity.

Don't you know that God raised you up in the kingdom for a time like this?”

As you are reading this devotional, I want you to realize that it is not over, because God has a purpose for your life. As long as you remain connected to the purpose of God, good things will flood your way like a river.

WORDS OF WISDOM: In God's work, nobody is indispensable.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Nothing will stop me from my next level. The word of God has given me assurance.
