What can we say about God's love?
It's pure, kind, selfless, sacrificial and meek. He created us in His image, that shows the extent to which He loves us. Thereafter, sending His son to become a human, feel the pain we feel, endure hardships for our sake, and ultimately die for us. That's genuine love there❤️

I am certain of this– God has your best interest at heart, he wants everything good for you. So when things go rough, God still loves you.

Today, depict Christlike love in other people. Show it. Live it. 🌹

YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Recently, I started another phase of my life and in a few months, I reached out to a friend and told him to bring me back to where I wanted to be. I have done due diligence by observing my current location and I was humanly convinced that it wasn't the place for me. I gave him countless reasons why I couldn't be there and begged him to reason with me.

I got an emphatic NO from him. Not that he couldn't do it, he was certain that's where I needed to be.
He continued by firmly saying "God needs you there and that's where you will be. You are not coming back."

Trust me, I was upset but I had no choice but to adapt and submit to God's guidance because I, too was convinced that it was indeed, God.😌

Nobody hates stepping out of their comfort zone as much as I do. When you speak of travels, count me out of it. Exploring new options is a capital NO from me. But here I am planning on how to take a tour around the world and try out all the foods in the 7 continents.😂😂😂

All the same, certain things have to be done for you to achieve a greater purpose. Finding the true meaning of life in God entails stepping out from the wall you've built around yourself. It's not about you being shy or adapting, It's about knowing the urgency of the task at hand, who you are in Christ, and the purpose God wants you to fulfil.

When you fully realize this, you'll know that your life is not about you in any way but about God.

When you study the book of Job, you'll understand the necessity of Godly and sensible Companions who possess God-given wisdom.🌞

Job walked blamelessly and uprightly before God and I'm sure his friends were aware of that too. Ah ah, they were his close friends na.

I see Eliphaz's response as full of accusations and doubt, but not ignorance and it's annoying. However, I tried to find some truth in what he said, and I do believe he was right in certain aspects. Yes, God punishes sinners, but not every time and not everyone. Sometimes, it's visible and other times, it's not.

Eliphaz, due to his limited knowledge believed that Job's suffering was a result of some wrongdoing on Job's part. However, Job had faith in God and cried out to Him for help. Job hoped to be healed and delivered from his afflictions, and if he had indeed sinned, he trusted that God would forgive him and offer him help. It is perplexing that Job's friends failed to consider this and instead chose to blame and discourage him.

They are so blinded and engrossed in their so-called human wisdom that they don't understand that this has nothing to do with the consequences of their actions. Okay, let's agree they didn't understand the situation, but then, would it hurt to encourage your friend, regardless of what he has done? Or even pray for them instead? Let's also assume there is a fault, why not just look for a way forward rather than dwelling on the past?

Job felt it was necessary to explain to his friends why he was going through such a difficult time. However, in my opinion, his friends didn't deserve an explanation. He should have just given them a side eye and told them to "rest". They should have stood up and gone to their respective homes because they weren't there to console him but rather to add insult to injury.😒

They were right about who God is and what He can do but the application was wrong. God doesn't need your help to be God.

This brief account of Job and his friends is not just a story from the past but continues to happen today. Sometimes we may unknowingly harm our friends in the name of helping them out of certain situations. Therefore, we need to be more cautious and considerate in our actions towards others.❤️
