(GOD'S MERCY THROUGH REPENTANCE)
"If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them." Jeremiah 18:8 (KJV)

God reveals His heart in this verse. Although He is righteous and judges sin, He is also rich in mercy. When people genuinely repent and turn from their sinful ways, God is willing to forgive, restore, and bless them. No one is beyond God's mercy when they sincerely return to Him.
Today, examine your heart. Is there any area where God is calling you to repent? Do not harden your heart. God's grace is available for everyone who humbly returns to Him. True repentance brings restoration and opens the door to God's favor.

Prayer Point
Father, search my heart and reveal every sinful way in me.
Lord, grant me genuine repentance and a renewed spirit, in Jesus name.

(BEWARE OF WRONG COUNSEL)
"But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him."
1 Kings 12:8 (KJV).

King Rehoboam stood at a defining moment in Israel's history. Instead of listening to the wise and experienced elders, he rejected their counsel and followed the advice of his peers. That decision led to the division of the kingdom and years of conflict. Every day, we are surrounded by voices competing for our attention. Some encourage godly wisdom, while others appeal to pride, impatience, and selfish ambition. A wise believer seeks God's direction and values counsel that aligns with His Word.

Prayer Point
Father, give me a heart that values godly counsel in Jesus' name.
