Comforting Hands Foundation (CHF): Bringing Hope Behind Bars

At Comforting Hands Foundation (CHF), one of our core values is visitation and care for prisoners across Nigeria and Africa. We believe that everyone deserves love, dignity, and a second chance — even those who find themselves behind bars.

Our team reaches out to inmates who are not hardened criminals but individuals who, through various circumstances, ended up in prison. We visit to comfort, encourage, and restore hope, reminding them that they are not forgotten.

Through our prison outreach initiative, CHF provides:
• Healthcare support to improve their well-being
• Spiritual counseling to heal and strengthen their inner lives
• Financial assistance to ease their burdens and prepare them for reintegration into society

We walk with them until they regain their freedom — and even beyond — helping them rebuild their lives with renewed faith and purpose.

Farming and agriculture remain the backbone of every thriving society, providing food security, raw materials for industries, and employment opportunities for millions. If able youths venture into farming, it will not only guarantee a steady supply of food for our communities but also improve our standard of living by reducing hunger, poverty, and over-dependence on imported produce. Beyond feeding the nation, agriculture creates multiple value chains, from food processing to distribution, which can significantly boost Nigeria’s economy.

With the right support and access to resources, agriculture has the power to transform the lives of young people. By engaging in modern farming, youths can become self-reliant, create wealth, and contribute to national development. This is why it is important to encourage and empower young Nigerians to see farming not as outdated work but as a profitable and dignified career path. Their involvement will drive innovation in the sector and position agriculture as a sustainable alternative to dwindling oil revenues.

We are set to sponsor 30 youths across the South-West of Nigeria in farming and agriculture by equipping them with knowledge, resources, and opportunities. As part of this initiative, we are also providing free plots of land in Sagamu, Ogun State, for cultivation.
