Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with great honor and deep gratitude that we stand before you today. On behalf of Akwa Ibom State Campus Fellowship Worldwide (AKISCFW), I extend our heartfelt appreciation to you, Sir, for granting us this opportunity to engage in a meaningful dialogue on collaboration.
We also acknowledge and appreciate the University of Uyo administration, ably led by our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nyaudoh Ukpabio Ndaeyo, the Akwa Ibom State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, and the leadership of CAN under Bishop Dr. Christian Nyong, JP, for their continuous support in advancing the spiritual and moral values of students across our campuses.
We also acknowledge and commend your efforts, CSP Asuquo Inyang (Rtd.), in delivering quality and satisfactory security services across all University of Uyo campuses. Your leadership has greatly contributed to maintaining peace, discipline, and safety within the university community.
THE PURPOSE OF OUR VISIT
Today, we come as partners in progress, seeking collaboration with the Security Unit to ensure that our students worship, learn, and grow in a safe, peaceful, and orderly environment. As the apex faith-based body on all tertiary campuses in Akwa Ibom State, AKISCFW plays a crucial role in shaping the moral, ethical, and spiritual well-being of students.
As you are aware, universities are not only centers for academic excellence but also hubs for character development. A secure and morally upright campus community is a foundation for true learning and leadership. We believe that working together with your esteemed office will create a safer, more disciplined, and spiritually uplifting campus environment.
KEY AREAS OF COLLABORATION
1. Security Support for Fellowship Gatherings & Events
Ensuring a peaceful and secure atmosphere during our Monthly Leadership Dedication Congress (MLDC) and other faith-based programs.
Strengthening security measures for orderly conduct in fellowship meetings and interdenominational gatherings.
2. Moral and Disciplinary Development
Partnering with the Security Unit to curb social vices such as cultism, drug abuse, and misconduct on campus.
Promoting faith-based values as a tool for peace, unity, and moral excellence among students.
3. Encouraging Responsible Student Leadership
Ensuring that student leaders in faith-based organizations lead with integrity, respect, and responsibility.
Creating an avenue where student fellowships can collaborate with security personnel to enhance campus safety and peaceful co-existence.
4. Scholarship and Academic Support for Students
Collaborating on scholarship opportunities to support financially challenged but dedicated students in their academic pursuits.
Engaging stakeholders to establish a scholarship fund that will empower students with academic excellence and moral uprightness.
5. Procurement of a Standard Office Space for AKISCFW
As the apex fellowship body coordinating faith-based activities across all tertiary institutions in Akwa Ibom State, we seek a well-equipped office space to carry out our official duties efficiently.
This office will serve as a central hub for administration, counseling, leadership training, and coordination of campus fellowships.
6. Financial and Logistical Support for AKISCFW Administration
As an organization committed to faith, peace, and leadership development, we seek financial assistance to facilitate our administrative duties, leadership programs, and general operations.
Your support will enable us to expand our impact across Akwa Ibom State tertiary institutions under the guidance of CAN and the Akwa Ibom State Government.
Financial Projection & Support Requirements
To effectively implement our key initiatives and ensure the smooth operation of AKISCFW, we have outlined a financial projection of β¦12,000,000, which will be utilized as follows:
1. Scholarship Fund for Students β β¦4,000,000
Providing financial aid to academically outstanding but financially challenged students.
Supporting students who have demonstrated leadership and moral excellence.
2. Office Space Procurement & Setup β β¦2,500,000
Securing a standard office space to serve as the administrative hub for AKISCFW.
Equipping the office with essential furniture, computers, and operational materials.
3. Security & Logistics for Fellowship Gatherings β β¦2,000,000
Engaging security personnel to ensure a peaceful and secure worship environment.
Providing logistical support for smooth coordination of major fellowship events.
4. Leadership Training & Mentorship Programs β β¦2,500,000
Organizing monthly leadership workshops to train student leaders on discipline, responsibility, and faith-based leadership.
Conducting mentorship programs to build morally upright and visionary leaders.
5. Administrative Operations & Expansion β β¦1,000,000
Facilitating the smooth administration of AKISCFW across all tertiary institutions in Akwa Ibom State.
Strengthening inter-campus collaboration under the guidance of CAN and the Akwa Ibom State Government.
TOTAL FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT: β¦12,000,000
