We rejoice and offer sweet smelling sacrifice to our Lord.

Topic: Expired
Anchor Text: Judges 16:9
Scripture References: 1 Samuel 15:26, 2 Samuel 15:31, 2 Samuel 17:1–8

To "expire" spiritually means losing your divine backing and relevance in God's plan before your physical life is over. When a person expires, God's presence, wisdom, and authority depart from their life.

1. Disobedience
Refusing to follow God's clear instructions strips away His authority and leads to direct rejection, as seen when King Saul lost his throne for disobeying divine commands (1 Samuel 15:26).

2. Pride
Arrogance replaces God's grace with self-reliance, blinding a person to their dependence on Him and setting them up for a sudden fall (2 Samuel 15:31, 17:1–8).

3. Greed
Prioritizing personal ambition, wealth, or status above God compromises your spiritual integrity and cuts off the source of true spiritual power.

4. Sin
Unconfessed and repeated sin destroys your relationship with God, causing His Spirit and protection to depart, as Samson experienced in Judges 16:9.

5. Lack of Focus
Distraction and spiritual carelessness cause you to drift away from your purpose, rendering your life ineffective and spiritually useless over time.

🌿 HAPPY NEW MONTH! 🌿

Welcome to September, our month of divine favour and new beginnings! 🙏🏽✨

May the Lord go before us this month, order our steps, strengthen our faith and cause everything concerning us to work together for our good.

May September bring testimonies where there were challenges, restoration where there was loss, and joy where there was sorrow. May we experience God's presence and goodness in every area of our lives.

“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” — Psalm 126:3

Happy New Month, beloved! ❤️
May this month be blessed, fruitful and full of divine surprises.

September shall be good to us! 🙏🏽✨

⭐ TODAY'S MESSAGE - PS. B.E. ARCHIBONG ⭐

THEME: CHRIST IS OUR ROCK OF SAFETY
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 10:4

Today’s Sunday Service at the Ikot Udoro Oku District was a powerful reminder of where our true safety lies. Ministering on the theme “Christ Is My Rock of Safety,” our District Pastor, Pastor B.E. Archibong, drew our attention to 1 Corinthians 10:4, which reminds us that the Israelites “drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”

As the children of Israel journeyed from Egypt through the wilderness, the Rock was with them throughout their journey, providing what they needed even when they did not fully understand the One who was accompanying them. In the same way, Christ remains with us through every season of life; guiding, sustaining and keeping us safe.

The life of David also gives us a beautiful picture of finding refuge in God. When Saul pursued him and sought to take his life, David repeatedly ran to the high rocks and hid himself in the presence of God. His confidence was not in the rocks themselves, but in Jehovah, his Rock and Refuge (1 Samuel 24:1–3; Psalm 27:5).

Today, we were reminded that Jesus is our true Rock and our safe shelter. In the midst of life's dangers, trials and spiritual storms, we can hide ourselves in Him. He covers us in times of trouble, strengthens us in weakness and keeps us secure from the attacks of the enemy.

As Hannah declared, “There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.” — 1 Samuel 2:2.

May we continually put our trust in Christ, knowing that beneath His mighty care, we are safe and secure.

Christ is our Rock. Christ is our Refuge. Christ is our Safety.
