THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER (EXCERPT FROM TODAY'S MESSAGE Salt Of The Earth Int'l Ministries

Christ Exalted: Believers Seated With Him
Many believers talk about authority, but the real issue is not power—it is understanding.
Jesus said:
“All authority is given unto Me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18).
That means:
There is no power equal to Christ
There is no situation outside His control
There is no enemy that rivals Him
So the question is not “Do you have authority?”
The real question is: “Do you understand where your authority comes from?”
Because authority does not start with you..It starts with Christ.
Now here is where it gets deeper…
The same Christ who has all authority is the One Scripture says:
“Has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6)

You are not trying to get victory.
You are not trying to climb spiritually.
You are already seated with Christ.
And seated means:
The work is finished
The position is established
The authority is settled
But here is the tension…
Many believers are seated positionally,
but living defeated experientially.
WHY?
Because they live by:
Feelings instead of truth
Experience instead of revelation
You may feel pressure, but you are positioned above it.
You may face challenges, but you are not under them.
You don’t fight for victory. You operate from victory.
Until your position becomes your consciousness,
your authority will remain theoretical.
But when this truth settles in your heart:
Fear begins to break
Confidence rises
Your life starts aligning with your identity
Christ has all authority.
You are in Christ.
Therefore, you don’t live under. You live from above.
Glooooory

SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2026

CHRIST THE AUTHORITY OVER ALL
Matthew 28:18; Colossians 1:16–18; Ephesians 1:20–22
“All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18

After His resurrection, Jesus declares His universal authority. This is not newly created authority, but authority now revealed and exercised as the risen and exalted God-Man.
“He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” Colossians 1:17
He rules over all creation, governs history, and reigns as Head of the Church. There is no realm, visible or invisible, outside His dominion.

The One who saves you is the One who rules over all things for your good.
“And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church.” Ephesians 1:22
This means His authority is not distant or abstract—it is personally exercised on behalf of His people.

Christ’s authority is comprehensive:
Creator: “All things were created by Him, and for Him.” (Colossians 1:16)
Sustainer: “By Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:17)
Head of the Church: “He is the head of the body.” (Colossians 1:18)
His reign extends over:
sin (He conquered it at the cross)
death (He triumphed in resurrection)
powers and principalities (Colossians 2:15)

Your life is safest under Christ’s authority.
To submit to Him is not loss. It is alignment with truth, life, and purpose.
Because He reigns, nothing in your life is outside His sovereign care.

PRAYER
Sovereign Lord,
thank You that all authority belongs to You.
Reign over every area of my life—my thoughts, decisions, and desires—and align me fully with Your will.
Amen.

CHRIST IN THE GOSPEL; CHRIST THE HEALER AND RESTORER
Matthew 8:16–17; Isaiah 53:4; Luke 5:17–20
“Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:17

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus heals the sick, opens blind eyes, cleanses lepers, and restores the broken. These are not random acts of compassion. They are revelations of who He is.
Each miracle declares that Christ has authority over the effects of sin (disease, oppression, and decay)
“And He laid His hands on every one of them, and healed them.” Luke 4:40
His healing is both personal and powerful, showing that no condition is beyond His reach.

Matthew connects Christ’s healing ministry directly to Isaiah’s prophecy:
“Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows.” — Isaiah 53:4
This reveals that His miracles point beyond physical healing to a deeper work, the healing of the soul through salvation.
In forgiving the paralytic, Jesus makes this clear:
“Thy sins be forgiven thee.” Luke 5:20
The greatest restoration Christ brings is reconciliation with God.

Miracles are signs of the Kingdom.
They demonstrate that God’s reign has broken into a fallen world.
They show that Christ has come to:
reverse the curse
confront the power of sin
preview the coming restoration of all things
Yet not all healing is immediate in this age, because the fullness of restoration awaits His return.
“We ourselves groan… waiting for… the redemption of our body.” Romans 8:23

Christ restores not only bodies—but souls, minds, and lives.
Whatever is broken, wounded, or burdened in you is not beyond His restoring power. His grace reaches deeper than symptoms. It addresses the root.
Prayer
Healing Lord,
thank You for bearing my sorrows and bringing true restoration.
Touch every broken area of my life (body, soul, and spirit) and make me whole according to Your will.
AMEN.

SAVOUR MEAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL FROM Salt Of The Earth Int'l Ministries
WEDNESDAY APRIL 29, 2026

CHRIST IN THE GOSPEL: CHRIST THE PREACHER OF THE KINGDOM
Mark 1:14–15; Luke 4:18–21; Matthew 12:28
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15

Jesus came proclaiming the Kingdom of God—not merely as a message to be heard, but as a reality to be encountered in His Person.
When He read Isaiah in the synagogue, He declared:
“This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Luke 4:21
Where Christ is present, the reign of God has broken into history. His words, works, and authority reveal that the King Himself has come.
“If I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” Matthew 12:28

The Gospel is the announcement that through Christ, God’s rule has come to save, restore, and reign.
The proper response is clear:
repentance; turning from sin and self-rule
faith; trusting in Christ alone
“Repent… and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” Acts 3:19

The Kingdom of God is both:
already present; inaugurated in Christ’s first coming
not yet complete; awaiting full manifestation at His return
This means believers already experience:
forgiveness
new life
spiritual authority
Yet we still await:
the visible reign of Christ
the restoration of all things

To receive Christ is to come under His rule.
The Kingdom is not merely a future hope. It is a present reality shaping how you live now.
Where Christ reigns, sin loses dominion and righteousness begins to flourish.

PRAYER
King Jesus, rule in my heart and align my life with Your Kingdom.
Teach me to live daily under Your authority, reflecting Your righteousness and truth.
Amen.

CHRIST IN THE GOSPEL;CHRIST THE TEMPTED YET SINLESS
Matthew 4:1–11; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 2:18
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

Immediately after His baptism, Jesus is led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. These temptations were real, intense, and strategic, aimed at turning Him from obedience to the Father.
Yet, where Adam fell in a garden and Israel failed in the wilderness, Christ stands firm in perfect obedience.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4
He resists not by divine power alone, but as the obedient Son, fully yielded to the Word and will of God.

Christ’s victory over temptation is not merely an example. It is part of our salvation.
“By the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:19
His sinless life is credited to us. Where we have failed, He has succeeded—and His righteousness becomes ours through faith.

Christ is both:
our example; showing how to stand in obedience, relying on God’s Word
our substitute; succeeding on our behalf and securing righteousness for us
He is also our compassionate High Priest:
“For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.” Hebrews 2:18
He understands the reality of temptation, yet remains perfectly holy.

Your hope is not in your ability to resist temptation, but in Christ’s perfect obedience.
Because He overcame, you are not left helpless. You are strengthened by His grace and upheld by His righteousness.

PRAYER
Holy Savior,
thank You for overcoming every temptation on my behalf.
Strengthen me by Your grace to stand firm, and help me to rely on Your Word and victory daily.
Amen.

CHRIST IN THE GOSPEL: CHRIST THE BELOVED SON
Matthew 3:16–17; John 17:24; Ephesians 1:6
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17

At the baptism of Jesus, heaven opens and the Father publicly declares His eternal delight in the Son. This is not a temporary approval. It is the revelation of an eternal relationship of love within the Godhead.
“Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24
Jesus lives in perfect obedience, perfect communion, and perfect love with the Father. Every word He speaks and every work He does flows from this unbroken fellowship.

What is astonishing in the Gospel is this: believers are brought into that same acceptance.
“To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:6
The Father’s delight in the Son becomes the believer’s standing before God. We are not accepted on our own merit, but in Christ.

Christ’s sonship is:
eternal: He is the only begotten Son
unique: He shares the divine nature
Our sonship is:
gracious; given, not earned
adoptive; through union with Christ
“Ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15
Thus, we do not become sons by nature, but by grace in the Son.

Your acceptance before God does not fluctuate with your performance.
It is anchored in Christ, the Beloved Son.
The same voice that declared pleasure over Him now receives you in Him.

PRAYER
Beloved Son,
thank You that in You I am fully accepted and deeply loved.
Help me to live in the confidence and joy of this unchanging relationship with the Father.
Amen.

CHRIST IN THE GOSPEL; CHRIST THE WORD MADE FLESH
John 1:1–14; Philippians 2:6–8
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” John 1:14

Jesus is not merely sent by God—He is God, the eternal Word (Logos) who was with God and was God from the beginning.
“All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.” — John 1:3
Yet, in astonishing humility, this eternal Word took on human flesh.
“Who, being in the form of God… made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant.” Philippians 2:6–7
The infinite became finite.
The invisible became visible.
The Creator entered His creation—not in splendor, but in humility.
He did not cease to be God; He took on what He had not been—true humanity.

The incarnation was not incidental. It was essential for redemption.
Christ became what we are so that He might redeem us from what we are.
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same…” Hebrews 2:14
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5
Only one who is fully God could save, and only one who is fully man could stand in our place.

Jesus Christ is one Person with two distinct natures:
Fully God; He reveals the Father perfectly (John 14:9)
Fully Man; He represents humanity and obeys in our place (Romans 5:19)
This is the mystery of the incarnation—God with us (Emmanuel).
“Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.” 1 Timothy 3:16

God is not distant or detached.
In Christ, He has drawn near, entered our world, and made Himself known.
The One who created you has come to redeem you—and to dwell with you.

PRAYER
Incarnate Word, thank You for stepping into my world to bring me into Yours. Help me to behold Your glory and to live in the wonder of Your nearness.
Amen.

SAVOUR MEAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL FROM Salt Of The Earth Int'l Ministries
SATURDAY APRIL 25, 2026

CHRIST IN PROPHECY: CHRIST THE MESSENGER OF THE COVENANT
Malachi 3:1; Hebrews 8:6; Luke 22:20
“The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant…” — Malachi 3:1

Malachi prophesies that the Lord Himself will come to His temple as the Messenger of the Covenant. This is no ordinary messenger—He is both the Sender and the Message.
Jesus fulfills this perfectly. He not only announces the New Covenant, He establishes it through His own blood.
“This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you.” — Luke 22:20
Christ is therefore both:
the Revealer of the covenant
the Mediator of the covenant
the Sacrifice that secures it

Through Christ, God relates to His people not on the basis of Law, but on the foundation of grace secured by blood.
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:17
The New Covenant does not demand righteousness from us—it provides righteousness in Christ.

Christ mediates a better covenant built on better promises (Hebrews 8:6), including:
forgiveness of sins
a new heart and renewed nature (Ezekiel 36:26)
God’s law written within (Jeremiah 31:33)
direct relationship with God
“Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” — Hebrews 8:12
This covenant is not external and temporary, but internal and eternal.

In Christ, you are not standing at a distance under Law—you are brought near under covenant grace.
Your relationship with God is secured not by your consistency, but by Christ’s finished work and ongoing mediation.

PRAYER
Covenant Lord,
thank You for bringing me into a better and eternal covenant through Your blood.
Help me to live in the freedom, assurance, and intimacy that this grace provides.
Amen.

CHRIST IN PROPHECY: CHRIST THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Malachi 4:2; John 8:12
“But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings.” Malachi 4:2

Malachi presents the coming Messiah as the Sun of Righteousness—a powerful image of light breaking through darkness. Unlike a fading lamp, Christ rises like the sun, bringing full illumination, life, and warmth.
Jesus confirms this identity:
“I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12
He is not merely a teacher of truth—He is the source of all spiritual light and life.

Where Christ shines, darkness cannot remain.
“The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5
His light does not struggle with darkness—it overcomes it. Sin, fear, deception, and bo***ge begin to lose their hold where Christ is truly revealed.

The same sun produces different effects:
Judgment for those who reject the light
Healing for those who receive it
“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already.” John 3:18
The “healing in His wings” speaks of restoration that flows from Christ—healing of the soul, renewal of the mind, and transformation of life.
Gospel Reflection
Christ’s light does not only expose sin—it heals and restores.
To walk in His light is to walk in truth, freedom, and increasing wholeness.

PRAYER
Sun of Righteousness,
shine upon my life and drive out every form of darkness.
Let Your light expose, heal, and transform me daily into Your likeness.

CHRIST IN THE PROPHECY;CHRIST THE PIERCED ONE
Zechariah 12:10; John 19:37; Revelation 1:7
“They shall look upon Me whom they have pierced…” Zechariah 12:10

In Zechariah, the LORD Himself speaks—yet says He will be pierced. This is a profound revelation: the One pierced is none other than God come in the flesh.
This prophecy finds its exact fulfillment at the cross:
“They shall look on Him whom they pierced.” John 19:37
The nails, the spear, the wounds—none were accidental. They were the outworking of God’s redemptive plan in Christ.

The One who was pierced is the One who saves.
“But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” John 19:34
His piercing speaks of:
atonement (blood for sin)
cleansing (water for purification)
The wounds of Christ are not marks of defeat—they are the means of redemption.

Zechariah connects the piercing of Christ with a deep, Spirit-wrought response:
“They shall mourn for Him…”
True repentance is not merely fear of judgment—it is a brokenness that comes from seeing Christ crucified for us.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.” John 12:32
The vision of the crucified Christ draws the sinner to repentance and faith.

True transformation begins with seeing the pierced Savior.
When you behold Christ crucified, sin is exposed, grace is revealed, and the heart is changed.
Even in glory, His wounds remain a testimony:
“Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him… and they also which pierced Him.” Revelation 1:7

PRAYER
Pierced Savior,
open my eyes to see the depth of Your love displayed at the cross.
Let the sight of Your wounds produce in me true repentance, deeper faith, and lasting devotion.
Amen.

CHRIST IN THE PROPHECY; CHRIST THE SON OF MAN
Daniel 7:13–14; Matthew 26:64
“Behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven… and there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom.” — Daniel 7:13–14

In Daniel’s vision, “one like the Son of Man” comes with the clouds—a sign of divine authority—and is presented before the Ancient of Days. He is given an everlasting kingdom that will never pass away.
Jesus repeatedly referred to Himself as the Son of Man, directly identifying with this prophecy.
“Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.” Matthew 26:64
This title reveals both His humility and His glory:
truly human — sharing fully in our nature
eternally divine — receiving worship, dominion, and glory

The One who took on flesh and suffered for sin is the same One to whom all authority has been given.
“All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.” — Matthew 28:18
His humiliation at the cross is followed by His exaltation to the throne.

Daniel 7 presents a kingdom that is:
universal — “all people, nations, and languages should serve Him”
eternal — “His dominion is an everlasting dominion”
indestructible — it shall not pass away
This means Christ is not merely a spiritual leader—He is the sovereign King over all creation.

The One who died for you now reigns over all.
Your Savior is not weak or distant—He is enthroned in power and authority.
To belong to Christ is to belong to an unshakable kingdom.

PRAYER
Son of Man,
thank You for humbling Yourself to save me and for reigning in power over all things.
Rule in my heart and align my life with Your eternal kingdom.
Amen.
