CHRIST OUR CONFIDENCE IN PRAYER
Hebrews 4:14–16; John 14:13–14; Ephesians 2:18
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace.” Hebrews 4:16

Jesus Christ is our Great High Priest who has opened the way into the presence of God. Through His death, resurrection, and ongoing intercession, believers have direct access to the Father.
“For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” Ephesians 2:18
The veil that once separated humanity from God's holy presence has been removed through Christ.

Prayer is possible because Christ opened the way.
Apart from Christ, sinners could not approach a holy God. But through His atoning sacrifice, believers are welcomed into God's presence as beloved children.
Prayer is not an attempt to earn God's attention—it is a privilege purchased by Christ's blood.
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.” Hebrews 10:19

Believers approach God through Christ's merit, not their own.
Our confidence in prayer is not based on:
personal worthiness
spiritual achievements
religious performance
Our confidence rests entirely upon:
Christ's righteousness
Christ's priesthood
Christ's intercession
“If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.” John 14:14
To pray in Jesus' name means approaching the Father on the basis of Christ's authority and finished work.

The throne of God has become a throne of grace for those who are in Christ.
The believer does not come trembling before an angry judge, but confidently before a loving Father.
There we find:
mercy for our failures
grace for our needs
strength for our trials
wisdom for our decisions
“That we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
Because Christ intercedes continually, believers can approach God with confidence, expectation, and faith.

PRAYER
Great High Priest,
thank You for opening the way into the Father's presence. Teach me to approach the throne of grace with confidence, trusting not in my own merit but in Your perfect righteousness. Strengthen my prayer life and deepen my fellowship with You.

CHRIST OUR PRESERVER
Philippians 1:6; Jude 24–25; John 10:27–29
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

Jesus Christ is not only the Author of salvation but also its Preserver and Perfecter. The Savior who calls sinners to Himself does not abandon them halfway through their journey. He faithfully sustains, guards, and matures His people until His redemptive work is complete.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” Hebrews 12:2
From conversion to glorification, Christ remains actively involved in the lives of His people.

The Savior who began your salvation will finish it.
Salvation is God's work from beginning to end. The believer's hope rests not in personal strength, but in Christ's unwavering faithfulness.
When God saves a person, He does not merely start a process and leave its completion uncertain. Through Christ, He commits Himself to bringing His saving purpose to fulfillment.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life.” John 10:27–28
The Shepherd who saves His sheep also keeps them.

Perseverance is sustained by God's preserving grace.
Believers are called to endure in faith and obedience, yet their perseverance ultimately depends upon God's sustaining power.
Christ preserves His people through:
His intercession
His Word
His Spirit
His providential care
His unfailing promises
“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” — Jude 24
The security of the believer is rooted not in human determination but in divine preservation.

Your future is secure because Christ is faithful.
There will be seasons of weakness, struggle, and spiritual warfare. At times believers may feel inadequate, discouraged, or weary.
Yet the Gospel reminds us that our confidence is not in our ability to hold on to Christ, but in His ability to hold on to us.
The hands that were pierced at Calvary are the same hands that uphold His people today.
Because Christ is faithful:
grace will sustain you
mercy will restore you
strength will uphold you
glory awaits you
The work He began, He will complete.

PRAYER
Faithful Lord,
thank You for preserving me by Your grace. Strengthen me to remain steadfast in faith and obedience, and help me to trust Your faithfulness when my strength is weak. Keep me until the day of Your appearing, and complete the good work You have begun in me.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 2026

CHRIST OUR SECURITY IN GOD'S LOVE
Romans 8:35–39; John 17:23; Jeremiah 31:3
“Nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39

Jesus Christ is the supreme demonstration and eternal guarantee of God's love toward His people.
The Father did not merely speak of His love. He revealed it through the gift of His Son.
“God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Christ stands as the unbreakable bond between believers and the love of God. The same Savior who died for us, rose for us, and intercedes for us continually secures us in that love forever.

God's love is secured through Christ's finished work.
Because our salvation rests upon the completed work of Christ, God's love for His redeemed people is not fragile or uncertain.
It does not fluctuate with
circumstances, emotions,
successes and failures.
The cross forever declares God's commitment to His people.
“He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32
The greatest gift has already been given; therefore believers can trust God's continuing love and care.

The believer's security rests in God's faithfulness, not human strength. Paul lists every conceivable threat: tribulation,
distress, persecution, famine, peril,
sword, death, life, angels,
principalities, things present and
things to come, yet he concludes:
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

Nothing in creation possesses the power to sever the believer from the love of God in Christ.
Our security is grounded not in our ability to hold on to God, but in God's unwavering commitment to hold on to us.

The love that saved you will never abandon you. There may be seasons when God's love feels distant because of suffering, disappointment, or spiritual struggle. Yet His love is not measured by feelings but by the unchanging reality of the cross.
“Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3

The believer can face every trial with confidence, knowing that the love of Christ remains constant through every circumstance.
No failure is beyond His grace.
No trial is beyond His presence.
No believer is beyond His reach.
The God who loved you enough to save you will continue to love you throughout eternity.

PRAYER
Loving Savior,
thank You for securing me forever in the love of God. When fears arise and circumstances shake me, anchor my heart in the certainty of Your unfailing love. Help me to live confidently, knowing that nothing can separate me from Your grace and care.
Amen.

CHRIST OUR FREEDOM FROM CONDEMNATION
Romans 8:1–4, 33–34; Galatians 3:13
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

Jesus Christ bore the full weight of God's judgment against sin upon the cross. The condemnation that rightfully belonged to us was placed upon Him.
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.” Galatians 3:13
At Calvary, the sinless Son of God stood in the place of guilty sinners. He absorbed the judgment we deserved so that we might receive the righteousness we could never earn.

The penalty of sin has been fully satisfied in Christ.
God's justice was not ignored—it was fulfilled.
Every charge against the believer was answered at the cross. Every debt was paid. Every accusation was silenced by the blood of Christ.
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.” Romans 8:33
The believer is not on probation before God. In Christ, the verdict has already been declared: justified.

Justification is God's legal declaration that the believer is righteous because of Christ.
This means:
our sins are forgiven
Christ's righteousness is credited to us
condemnation is permanently removed
peace with God is established
“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again.” Romans 8:34
Because Christ's sacrifice is complete, no further payment for sin remains.

God does not relate to His children through condemnation but through grace in Christ.
Conviction by the Holy Spirit leads believers to repentance and restoration. Condemnation, however, seeks to drive them into despair and hopelessness.
The Gospel reminds us that Christ has already borne our condemnation.
When guilt accuses, look to the cross.
When fear arises, remember the empty tomb.
When Satan condemns, remember that Christ intercedes.
Your standing before God rests upon Christ's finished work, not your fluctuating feelings.

PRAYER
Justifying Lord,
thank You that my condemnation was removed at the cross. Help me to live in the freedom of Your grace, resting in the righteousness You have provided and rejoicing in the peace I now have with God.

CHRIST OUR ADVOCATE
1 John 2:1–2; Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:34
“We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1

Jesus Christ is not only the Savior who died for our sins; He is also our living Advocate before the Father. Having completed the work of redemption, He now ministers on behalf of His people in heaven.
The word advocate speaks of one who stands alongside another to represent and defend their cause. Christ represents believers before the Father, not as a pleading attorney hoping for mercy, but as the righteous Son whose sacrifice has already secured mercy.
“Who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8:34
The wounds He bore at Calvary remain the eternal testimony that the debt of sin has been paid.

The believer's standing with God rests entirely upon Christ's righteousness.
When believers stumble, their acceptance before God is not maintained by their own perfection but by Christ's perfect obedience and finished work.
“If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” — 1 John 2:1
Our hope is not that we never fail, but that Christ never fails.
Because He stands for us, we remain accepted before God.

Christ's advocacy is based upon His completed atonement.
“And He is the propitiation for our sins.” — 1 John 2:2
Jesus does not argue that our sins are insignificant. Rather, He presents His finished sacrifice as the full satisfaction for sin.
His advocacy is grounded in:
His sinless life
His atoning death
His victorious resurrection
His continual intercession
“Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25
The Savior who died for us now lives for us.

Your failures do not surprise Christ; He intercedes for you continually.
Believers should never become comfortable with sin, yet neither should they despair when they stumble.
The Gospel provides both:
a call to holiness
a provision for restoration
When Satan accuses, Christ intercedes.
When conscience condemns, Christ reminds us of His finished work.
When we repent and return to Him, we discover that His grace remains sufficient.
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.” — Hebrews 4:15
The Advocate who represents you is also the Savior who understands you.

PRAYER
Advocating Savior,
thank You for continually representing me before the Father. When I fail, remind me of Your grace and lead me to repentance and renewed fellowship with You. Help me to rest in Your righteousness and walk in grateful obedience each day.

CHRIST THE LIGHT OF THE NEW CREATION
Revelation 21:1–5,23; John 8:12; Isaiah 60:19–20
“The glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” Revelation 21:23

In the vision of the New Jerusalem, John sees a creation completely transformed by the glory of God. There is no need for the sun or moon, because Christ Himself is the everlasting light of His redeemed people.
“I am the light of the world.” John 8:12
The same Christ who brought spiritual light into a dark world will one day remove all darkness forever.
His presence will illuminate the eternal Kingdom with unending glory, purity, joy, and peace.

The curse of sin, sorrow, death, and darkness will be removed forever.
“There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.” Revelation 21:4
Everything broken by the fall will finally be restored in Christ.
No more sin, suffering, fear,
separation, corruption, spiritual darkness
The Gospel does not merely promise forgiveness—it promises complete restoration through Christ.

The new creation is the final restoration and consummation of all things in Christ.
“Behold, I make all things new.” Revelation 21:5
The Bible begins with creation in Genesis and ends with a new creation in Revelation. Christ stands at the center of both.
Through His death and resurrection:
redemption is accomplished
creation is renewed
God dwells eternally with His people
“The tabernacle of God is with men.” Revelation 21:3
The New Jerusalem represents the fullness of God’s Kingdom where righteousness dwells forever.

The believer’s future is eternal life in the unveiled presence of Christ.
Every earthly light fades, but Christ’s light never dims.
The trials, tears, and darkness of this present world are temporary. The believer’s eternal destiny is everlasting fellowship with Christ in a Kingdom filled with His glory.
“At Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11
This hope strengthens believers to endure faithfully while longing for the day when faith becomes sight.

PRAYER
Light of Glory,
thank You for the promise of a new creation where sin and darkness shall never enter again.
Keep my eyes fixed upon Your eternal Kingdom and help me walk as a child of Your light until the day I dwell forever in Your presence.
Amen.

CHRIST OUR COMING KING
Revelation 22:12–13,20; Titus 2:13; Acts 1:11
“Surely I come quickly.” Revelation 22:20

The same Jesus who came in humility as the suffering Savior will return in glory as the reigning King.
At His first coming, He came:
to save sinners
to bear the cross
to accomplish redemption
At His Final coming, He will come in power and glory to judge righteousness and establish His visible reign forever
“This same Jesus… shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11
The ascended Christ returned into the believer at Pentecost. He will appear personally, visibly, and triumphantly at the fullness of time.

History is not random or meaningless. It is moving toward the visible reign of Christ.
The return of Christ is the believer’s blessed hope and the final fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13
Every promise of God will ultimately find its completion in the reign of Christ.

The appearance of Christ completes God’s redemptive purpose.
At Christ’s return:
the dead in Christ shall rise, evil will be fully judged, creation will be renewed, believers will be glorified and Christ’s Kingdom will be openly revealed
“Every eye shall see Him.” Revelation 1:7
The One who was rejected by the world will one day be acknowledged by all creation as Lord.

The believer lives with expectation, holiness, and hope. The promise of Christ’s return encourages believers to remain faithful, endure trials,
reject worldly compromise and live with eternal perspective
“And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself.” 1 John 3:3
The Christian life is lived in anticipation of seeing the King face to face.

PRAYER
Returning King,
thank You for the promise of Your return. Keep my heart watchful, faithful, and filled with hope as I await the day when Your Kingdom shall be fully revealed in glory.

CHRIST OUR PERSEVERANCE
Hebrews 12:1–3; Philippians 1:6; Jude 1:24
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” Hebrews 12:2

Jesus is not only the beginning of our faith—He is also the One who sustains, strengthens, and completes it. The Christian journey is not upheld by human determination alone, but by the preserving grace of Christ.
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
The Savior who called us to Himself remains faithful to keep us through every season of weakness, struggle, and testing.

Believers persevere because Christ preserves them. Our security rests not in the strength of our grip on Christ, but in His unfailing grip on us.
“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling…” Jude 1:24
Though believers may stumble, Christ remains the faithful Shepherd who restores, strengthens, and keeps His people unto the end.

Perseverance is evidence of God’s sustaining grace at work in the believer.
The Christian race requires:
endurance, faith, obedience
continual dependence upon Christ
Yet believers do not run alone. Christ intercedes for them, supplies grace to them, and strengthens them through the Holy Spirit.
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
The perseverance of the saints ultimately rests upon the preservation of the Savior.

Fixing your eyes on Christ strengthens endurance.
When weary, discouraged, or tempted to give up, believers are called to look unto Jesus—the One who endured the cross and overcame.
“Consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Hebrews 12:3
The same Christ who sustained the saints before you will sustain you also.

PRAYER
Faithful Lord,
thank You for sustaining and preserving me

CHRIST OUR PATTERN OF HUMILITY
Philippians 2:5–8; John 13:12–15; Matthew 11:29
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5

Jesus Christ, though eternally equal with the Father in glory and majesty, willingly humbled Himself in love and obedience.
“Who, being in the form of God… made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant.” Philippians 2:6–7
The King of glory washed the feet of His disciples, welcomed the weak, and gave His life for sinners. His humility was not weakness—it was the greatness of divine love expressed through sacrificial service.

True greatness in God’s Kingdom is not found in pride, status, or self-exaltation, but in humility and love.
“Whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” Matthew 23:12
Christ humbled Himself unto death so that sinners might be saved and reconciled to God.
The cross reveals that God’s way upward is first downward in surrender and obedience.

Sanctification includes growing in Christlike character.
The believer is not only called to admire Christ’s humility, but to reflect it in daily life through:
servanthood
meekness
patience
forgiveness
selfless love
“Learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart.” Matthew 11:29
Humility is the fruit of understanding both the holiness of God and the grace we have received in Christ.

The cross-shaped life is marked by humility and sacrificial love.
Because Christ humbled Himself for us, believers are called to:
serve rather than seek prominence
love rather than compete
forgive rather than retaliate
esteem others above themselves
“By love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13
True spiritual maturity looks like becoming more like Christ in character.

PRAYER
Humble Savior,
thank You for showing perfect humility through Your life and cross.
Teach me to walk in love, meekness, and servant-hearted obedience, reflecting Your character in all I do.

CHRIST AND THE BELIEVER'S WALK:CHRIST OUR STRENGTH IN TRIALS
2 Corinthians 12:9–10; Hebrews 4:15–16; Isaiah 43:2
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Christ does not abandon His people in suffering—He sustains them through it. The Lord who suffered, was rejected, and endured the cross now ministers strength and grace to believers in their weakness.
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.” — Hebrews 4:15
Because Jesus fully entered human suffering, He is both compassionate and able to help those who are tried and weary.

Grace is often displayed most clearly in weakness.
The Lord did not remove Paul’s thorn immediately, but He gave sustaining grace through it.
Trials reveal that our sufficiency is not in ourselves, but in Christ.
“When I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
God’s strength shines brightest where human strength fails.

Trials do not separate believers from Christ; they deepen dependence upon Him.
Suffering is not always a sign of divine abandonment. Often, it becomes a means through which:
faith is refined
character is formed
endurance is produced
Christ is revealed more deeply
“The trying of your faith worketh patience.” James 1:3
Christ’s grace does not merely help believers survive trials—it transforms them through trials.

Your weakness becomes a platform for Christ’s strength.
The believer’s confidence is not in personal ability, but in the presence and sufficiency of Christ.
Even in seasons of pain, loss, or uncertainty, His promise remains true:
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.” Isaiah 43:2
The Savior who carried the cross now carries His people.
Prayer
Strengthening Savior,
thank You for sustaining me in every trial.
Teach me to rely upon Your grace, trust Your wisdom in suffering, and experience Your strength in my weakness.
Amen.
