PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (27)

“For if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2Corinthians 5:17 LIGHT FOR NOW: The divine nature inaugurates an entirely new creation. Salvation is not the improvement of the old life but the impartation of a new life in Christ. Few verses summarize the miracle of the new birth more beautifully than 2Corinthians 5:17....

PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (25)

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.” – Colossians 3:10 LIGHT FOR NOW: The divine nature is expressed through the new man. The believer no longer lives from the identity of the old creation but from the life of the new creation in Christ. One of the greatest revelations in the New Testament is that the believer is not merely an improved version of the old man; He is a new man....

PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (24)

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature...” – 2Peter 1:4 LIGHT FOR NOW: The promises of God are not merely words to admire; they are channels through which believers grow in the practical experience of the divine nature. When Peter speaks about becoming "partakers of the divine nature", he surrounds this glorious truth with another important reality: The promises of God....

Sunday Sermon Summary
23/08/2026

Theme: Living as the Family of God

Unity & Relationship (Protecting the Bond of Peace)

Key Texts: Ephesians 4:1-6, John 17:20-23, Phil 2:1-5, Col 3:12-15,

Unity is not something we create, it is something we preserve because God has already made us one in Christ. We share One Lord, One Faith, One Body, and One Spirit.

Unity does not mean we all have to be the same in personality, opinion, or background. Differences only become destructive when they turn into division. The real secret to unity is Christ Himself. The closer each of us grows to Him, the closer we become to one another, because our common identity in Him is greater than any difference.

Because we live as one body, we must intentionally protect the bond of peace. Offense is inevitable, but it should never become a culture in the church. When it comes, deal with it immediately. Delay only turns a small mistake into bitterness and hostility. Handle it biblically by going directly to the person.
Avoid gossip, because it destroys what took years to build. The flesh wants to expose, but love restores, forgives, and seeks peace.

Protecting unity requires forbearance. We must bear with one another’s weaknesses and give room for people to grow, instead of demanding perfection. This is built on humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance, and love.
Pride makes relationships difficult and can destroy in a moment what grace took years to build. So we must be quick to adjust, quick to tolerate, and quick to apologize.

Maturity shows in how we relate. We should ask if we are easy to relate with, if we get offended quickly, if we can receive correction without bitterness, if we can apologize when we are wrong, and if we can talk things out even when we are not wrong.

Relationships in the body matter. Some people are a divine gift to your journey. Some will strengthen your faith, some will challenge your character, and some will open doors for you. Love gives value and honor expresses value. When both are present, the church flourishes. Do not throw away years of fellowship over a temporary offense or misunderstanding.

Our unity has a purpose beyond us. It is evangelistic. Jesus prayed that we would be one so that the world would believe. When people from different backgrounds genuinely love each other, it reveals Christ. Diversity can veil Christ, but unity reveals Him. We are called to live as the Family of God, with no competition and no undermining, because honor protects relationships in the body.

Unity is valuable. It requires intentional, diligent effort to protect.

GLORY!!!

PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (23)

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” – Ephesians 1:4 LIGHT FOR NOW: The divine nature is not an afterthought in God's plan. Before the world began, the Father purposed that those who are in Christ would share His holy life and stand before Him without blame....

PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (22)

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” – 1John 4:4 LIGHT FOR NOW: The divine nature is a victorious nature. The believer does not fight for victory but lives from the victory of the indwelling Christ. One of the greatest revelations of the New Testament is that the believer's victory is not rooted in personal strength; it is rooted in divine life....

THE AUTHORITY OF PRAYER

SEPTEMBER PRAYER
SUBMIT 2026

Prayer is more than asking.

Prayer is a divine instrument through which the purposes of God are expressed, the will of God is advanced, and the authority of Christ is exercised in the earth.

This September, we gather for 13 days to explore the mystery, ministry, and authority of prayer—and to discover what it means to pray from our position in Christ.

DATE: Tuesday, September 1st – Sunday, September 13th, 2026

THE AUTHORITY OF PRAYER

Come with hunger.
Come with expectation.
Come ready to LEARN. PRAY. ENGAGE. ENFORCE.

This is more than another prayer meeting.

IT IS A CALL TO DISCOVER THE AUTHORITY WE CARRY WHEN WE PRAY.
