Looking on a topic that says;

'Understanding the Power of Vision'
– Pro. 29:18

God has a settled plan and purpose for all His children – Jer. 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Eph. 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 11-12 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
God’s plan for our lives is not only unveiled through the Word, but also through visions– Psa. 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Hab. 2:1-3 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
But we are required to prove all things including vision with the word because God’s plan for us through visions/prophecies will never run counter with His word – Psa. 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
Mat. 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Jhn. 10:35-36 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
When we access God’s plan through the Word, it is called revelation, but when we have an encounter with God where He unveils His plan, it is called vision as in the case of Moses, Elijah, Peter and Paul among others – Exo. 3:7-10/ Act. 10:1-14

Why Do We Need Vision?
Without a proven vision, life remains an adventure in frustration – Pro. 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Isa. 42:23-24 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
That a thing seems right does not make it right – Prov. 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Prov. 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
How to Access God’s Vision for Our Lives
One must be meek – Ps. 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
Num. 12:1-3 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.2 And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
Create a serene environment – 1 Kgs 19:11-12 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
Pro. 18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.
Biblical Proofs of a true Vision
Every vision guarantees increasing results when pursued – Jhn 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
1 Kgs 8:15 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
You enjoy divine strength – 1 Kgs 18:46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
Joel 2:4-5 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Every true vision stirs joy within – Ps.89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
Heb. 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Covenant Day of Fruitfulness
Fruitfulness is our heritage but accessible by revelation – Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
2Pet 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Ps.127:3-5 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Deut. 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:/4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
As seeds of Abraham, we are redeemed to be fruitful! – Deut. 7:14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
Gal. 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
By redemption, we have been set free from the curse of barrenness – Deut. 28:18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep
Gal.3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Serving God empowers the redeemed for fruitfulness – Exo. 23:25-26 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
Psa. 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As long as a believer is dedicated to God, he is entitled to continue to bear fruits even until old age – Psa. 128:1-6 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
Jhn.12:24-26 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Joy and rejoicing is a covenant requirement for fruitfulness – 1 Sam. 1:18-19 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. 19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.
Rom. 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Furthermore, our heavenly Father is the baby-maker, we are not permitted to be baby-beggars– Psa. 100:3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Psa. 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Jer. 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
But Miracles are no accidents, they are the deliberate acts of God in response to the unshakeable faith of men – 1Jn. 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Mk. 2:1-12
Mk. 10:46-52

Jhn. 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
For all fathers and mothers in waiting, expect that in 9 months’ time, your story shall be turned to testimony – Gen. 18:9-10 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
2Kgs. 4:14-17 And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.15 And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door.16 And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.17 And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.
Expect this communion table to be a toast to your strength, health and longevity–1Cor.11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep...

Thank you and God bless you. 🙏
