Understanding the power of thanksgiving

We truly owe God thanks looking at the glorious events of the past 45 years and we are here today to pay our debt – Psa. 96:7-8
May our thanksgiving be acceptable unto the Lord today as we look forward to scaling new height both as a church and as individuals – Pro. 4:18/ Luk. 19:12-13
But Why Do We Give Thanks?
Thanksgiving is what we owe God, both as individuals and as a Church – Luk. 17:17-19/ 2 Thes. 2:13
We owe God thanks for every good thing we see in our lives as individuals and in our midst as a church – Eph. 5:20/ Jam. 1:17
We owe God timely thanksgiving to avoid a reversal of His blessings because God’s hand is behind all great happenings in our midst – Jer. 13:15-17/Jhn 15:5/ Psa. 118:23
Thanksgiving is gateway to scaling new altitudes – Phi. 4:4/ Hab. 3:17-19
Thanksgiving is the fruits of our lips that guarantees return on our investment of time, energy and resources in stewardship – Pro. 13:2/ Heb. 13:15
Thanksgiving is the mystery that moves us from one level to another:
From healing to wholeness – Luk. 17:17-19
From dryness to flourishing – Psa. 92:1-2/10-15/ Pro. 18:20
From rags to riches – Psa. 66:12/ Pro. 22:7/ Heb. 10:36
Furthermore, thanksgiving:
Facilitates access to revelation – Psa. 100:4/ 1 Tim. 1:12/ 2 Cor. 12:7
Engenders breakthrough in our various endeavours – Isa. 54:1-3/ Hab. 3:17-19
Provokes supernatural church growth – Deut. 1:11/ Jer. 30:19/ Act. 2:47
Secures fulfilment of prophecies –1Tim. 1:18/ Heb. 10:36
Jesus is Lord!

Covenant Keys to Financial Fortune
- Deut. 8:18

The covenant of abundance is the covenant of seed time and harvest, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving – Gen. 8:22/ 2Cor. 9:6-8/ Phil. 4:15-19

There was famine in the days of our covenant fathers but they were always exempted from the horror of hard times – Gen. 26:1/12-14/ Gen. 43:1 / 12

Interestingly, this covenant does not only empower for wealth, but terminates all misfortunes along our path – Psa. 41: 1-3/ Pro. 10:22/ mal. 3:10-11/17-19

To enjoy financial fortune: Be spiritually minded – 3 Jn 2/ 1 Tim. 4:7-8

Engage tirelessly in covenant of sowing and reaping – Deut. 8:18/ 2 Cor. 9:6-8

Put your hands to work – Psa. 1:1-3 / 2Thes. 3:10 Seek continuous guidance in your endeavours – Isa. 48:21/Jn 21:5-6

Walk in financial integrity – Zch. 5:1-4/ Job. 22:21-25

Be committed to being a blessing – Gen. 12:1-3/ 1 Tim. 6:17-19

Be committed thanksgiving, joy and rejoicing as a lifestyle – Mal.2:1-3/Hab. 3:17-19

Encounter with Destiny Tips

You are a child of destiny; you cannot afford to live like a destitute
From the mirror of the word, we discover that every believer has the following inheritance in Christ – Gen. 13:14-15/ Jms. 1:22-25

A glorious destiny – Rom. 8:29-30
An enviable destiny – Gen. 26:12-14/ Gal. 4:28

A pace setting destiny – Mat. 5:14/
A royal destiny – Rev. 5:9-10
A destiny of eternity with Christ – Jhn. 3:16/ Rom. 6:23
….and many more……
But most people sell off their destiny through carelessness like Esau – Gen 25:29-33
First, through ignorance of the truth concerning their redemption in Christ – Isa. 5:13/ Jhn. 8:32
On the other hand, some who have discovered their inheritance are so much in hurry that they lose it – Pro. 20:21
Others miss it through comparison of themselves with others – Pro. 27:8/ 2Cor. 10:12
We must focus on the race set before us not to miss our enviable place in destiny – Heb. 12:1-2
Destiny in the kingdom is not a destination but an adventure – Pro. 4:18/ 2Cor. 3:18
Destiny in the kingdom is fulfilled in phases – Exo. 23:30/ Deut. 7:22
As long as we let God continue to lead us, we end up in our high places – Deut. 32:9-14
But every great destiny has a small beginning as we saw in Christ our Lord and Saviour – Isa. 9:6
He began as a babe in the manger – Luk. 2:7/ 10-12
Grew to become an adolescent - Luk. 2:47-49
Was declared as God’s beloved son with power – Luk. 9:35/Rom. 1:4
But spiritual growth is vital to our rate of fulfilment of destiny – Luk. 2:52/ Gal. 2:11-12 /15-20
But how? Through continuous study of the word – 2Tim. 4:13/ Act. 26:24
Remember, to be spiritually minded is life and peace, our inheritance is spiritual and we can only realize it by being spiritual – Rom. 8:6
Ministration:
In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree that:
Every closed destiny opens up today – Rev. 3:7
Every dying destiny be quickened back to life – Jhn. 6:63
And every struggling destiny experience supernatural breakthrough by the light encountered today – Isa. 60:1-3
