TOPIC|| GIFT OF MEN

“The gift of men” shows up in two main ways: people as gifts to your life, and certain people as gifts to a community’s structure. Both matter.

1. PEOPLE AS GIFT TO YOUR LIFE:
No one builds anything alone. The people around you carry resources you don’t have: knowledge, access, perspective, protection, encouragement.

2. ACCELERATORS : A mentor who sees blind spots cuts years off your learning curve.
3. MIRRORS : Friends who tell you the truth when you’re lying to yourself.

4. LOAD BEARERS: Family or partners who hold things together when you can’t.
- *Doors*: Connections that open rooms you couldn’t knock on alone.

MEN AS GIFT TO A SYSTEM:
Ephesians 4:11 puts it like this: He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers.”_ The idea is that certain individuals are given to a community to equip others, not to dominate them.

The pattern is the same outside religious contexts:
*Teachers-give understanding.
*Builders- give structure.
*Protectors- give safety.
*Connectors- give networks.

A healthy system identifies these people, gives them room to function, and holds them accountable. An unhealthy system either worships them or suppresses them.

HOW THE GIFT GET MISUSED

* Ownership: Treating people like property instead of people. “He’s _my_ mentor” becomes control.
* Exploitation : Taking their time, skill, and access without reciprocity.
* Idolization : Putting a person in the place of principle. When they fall, the whole system shakes.
* Neglect : Ignoring the gift until it’s gone, then complaining about the lack.

Here’s how it breaks down:

WHAT REVEALS HONOR
1.Truthfulness : Say what you mean, mean what you say. Breaking your word breaks honor faster than anything.
2.Loyalty : Stand with your people, promises, and principles, especially when it costs you.
3.Respect : Treat people according to their dignity and role, not just their utility to you.
4.Courage : Do the hard, right thing when no one’s watching and when there’s a penalty for it.
5.Reciprocity : If someone gives you trust, help, or hospitality, you don’t exploit it.

* Faith gets easy when Life lines up.It gets real when it doesn't.
1) It's usually starts with a Gap..
* Between what you prayed for and what you got.
* Between the promise and the Delay.
* Between who God says he is and what your circumstances are screaming.

2.) Trials strips you down to what you Actually believe..
* When everything is fine,you believe a lot of things because they sound good,When you're tasted.you find out if you believe them because they're true or because they're convenient.

3.) What happens in the trials matters more than the trial itself. You can come out refined. The difference isn't the size of the problem. It's whether you talk to God about it or only about it to everyone else.
NOTE;
Silence from God isn't absence, often it's pressure,He is working on you not just your situation..

THREE THINGS TO DO WHEN YOUR FAITH IS TRIED..
1) Hold what you know: Don't throw away the truth you were certain of in the light just because it's dark now.
