OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE.

1 Samuel 15 :22-23
22. And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

23. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Lesson:
To obey the word of God is better than the sacrifice of fool.

No one can please God and displease God at the same time, and think God will accept the offer.

King Saul has disobeyed voice of God (1 Samuel 22)
And he tried to cover it up with irrelevant sacrifice.

When God says: "don't" or "do" he really meant it. He is a God of his word.

Always obey the word of God and the voice of God, every other effort/sacrifice before him will be acceptable.

Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

That thing you have prayed for, will soon be delivered to you.

It can take 2 years, it can take 5 years!

When the time is right, the Lord will make it happen.

The time frame does not matter, when the blessing comes, it will worth the wait.

Just wait upon the Lord!
