BIBLE READING: DEUTERONOMY 2

THINGS TO NOTE: 2:25;
“This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven. This is your prophecy. Arise and claim it in Jesus name.

Today marks the beginning of your victory. God shall use you henceforth to change lives, destroy spiritual powers, heal chronic diseases, and save a hopeless group of people. Your fame will send signals to your enemies that they should fear you.

Beloved, you and your people shall never be a toast-about again. May that sickness that makes almost everyone see your nakedness die today, for people to fear your God and follow Him. Lack of mercy has tortured you for long. I declare your victory over it in Jesus name. You have been rising and falling into sin.

Today, rise above sin and finally stand for Christ. Receive grace to influence your world.

BIBLE READING: DEUTRONOMY 1

THINGS TO NOTE: 1:11;
“(The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!). May the Almighty God answer this prayers into your life, family, church, business or job and our society in Jesus name, Amen.

It is the will of God that you experience a remarkable growth in all areas of your endeavour. God will definitely do it for you.

So that these blessing shall abide, you must get rid of blessing destroyers. Such include: your poor manner of approach to people, your carefree and careless attitude, your lateness to job, business, church and appointments; your poor accountability, habit, lack of visitation to maintain new members and secret sins among others.

Correct your behavioural lapses and the blessings will be downloaded to you.

BIBLE READING: 3 JOHN 1

THINGS TO NOTE: 1:9-10;
What kind of person was Diotrephes in the early church? He rose to the position of influence. He loved to dominate major decisions in the church.

Despite an authority and notification letter from the Elderly Apostle, he did not receive the brethren. He went on to forbid others from receiving them. Doing the worse he threw them out of the church and vomited malicious and stupid words against them.

Diotrephes was too much for a young believing church. The reason that you are the founding member, most charismatic or educated member, the biggest financial member or the beloved of the pastor, should never make you act like Diotrephes in the church of God.

Please check your actions.

THINGS TO NOTE: 1:4;
This epistle was written to a noble Christian matron (the Elect Lady) and her children. I am happy to see that a woman of integrity was also named among the believers.

If God has lifted you in life, feel happy to humble yourself and belong to the humble Christian fold. It is also worthy of note that this woman was loved by the Christians (verse 4).

This love was not for her rank but for carefully training her children on this path of holiness. Dear righteous parents, you will not stop gossipers when some of your children step in and out of your holy home to show the world how sinful they are.

Pray the God of the Elect Lady to visit your children from today in Jesus name.

THINGS TO NOTE: 5:13;
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is assured of Eternal Life. Every believer in Christ must continue to believe, depend, and use the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God in all their dealings in life.

Of recent, men have come out in the guise of prophets who place emphasis on contacting God through material objects like sachet water, handkerchief, sand, seeds of fruits, flowers, money, etc.

Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:10 affirms what Apostle John said here. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow Brethren the name of Jesus can still work raw, not attaching it to an earthly substance.

THINGS TO NOTE: 3:2;
But we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Preparing to appear like Jesus when he comes matters and should start now.

Let us examine ourselves. Will Christ accept the way I used to talk to my husband, wife, children, or parents? Will my secret relationship and lust stain my appearance on that day? Can the way I spend or earn money without good accountability affect my appearance?

Jesus said in Rev. 3:4 which have not defiled their garments, shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy. Repent today and correct your behavior. Your righteousness shall form your garment on that day.

Many shall be ashamed at Christ's appearance but let it not be you.

‎INTRODUCTION
‎
‎Paul said, "it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe". This was the message Paul wrote to the Corinthian believers to show them the power of the gospel.
‎
‎The preaching of the gospel is very important because through it lives are changed. The preaching of the gospel may look foolish in the eyes of people but it has power to bring many to the wisdom of God.
‎
‎
‎All believers should be involved in preaching the gospel so that lives can be changed.
‎
‎
‎Instead of complaining and criticizing people, we should engage ourselves in the preaching of the gospel.
‎
‎
‎Invite people to the church programmes to hear the gospel. Personally, preach to many and God will use it to save them.

BIBLE READING: 1 JOHN 1-2

THINGS TO NOTE: 2:11;
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, .. You are not to hate any human being. You should hate the sinful behaviour of a person and aim at correcting him or at least warning him.

Hatred consumes the peace and spiritual flow of your heart. It trickers the exhibition of other sinful acts from your heart. Once hatred breeds in your mind, your spirit is blinded, darkened and demons can possess you to act otherwise.

Repent from hating anybody. If you are hurt, voice out for help in a peaceful manner. At the stage of sanctification, you cannot hate anybody.

In your daily prayers, tell God to help you love everybody. This should not make you to fall into danger in the name of love.
