GOD WANTS CHILDREN SAVED

MATTHEW 18:14 KJV
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

It is not God’s will that any child should be unsaved and go to hell. It is not His plan that any of them be a victim of the devil. It is not His desire that any of our children become a tool in the kingdom of darkness. If they are not saved, the devil will get them and recruit them. If they are not saved, they will be bound by sin and destroyed in hell. They need to be led to the Lord. They need to understand why they need to be saved (born again) and how.

Using the acronym GOSPEL, you can teach your children and others what the gospel (the good news of salvation) is all about:

G - GOD LOVES YOU.
God so loves you and does not want you to perish, and so He gave His only Son to die to save you. Let them know that God loves them so much (Jhn. 3:16).

O - ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU.
Let them know that Jesus is the only way to God. He is the door; the way, the truth and the life. It’s His blood alone that can wash away sins. Why? Because He took our place and died for us. He shed His blood for us. No soap can wash away sins. Only Jesus’ blood can. He paid our debt. So, no other person can save you. Only Jesus can (Acts 4:12).

S - SINNERS WILL BE SAVED IF THEY REPENT.
Everybody needs saving. Why? Because all have sinned? When? How? When Adam, the first man sinned, all his descendants sinned with him. We were all born in sin and the punishment for sin is death – eternal separation from God in the lake of fire. But the gift of God is eternal life if we repent (Rom. 3:23, 6:23). You need to repent to be saved (Acts 3:19).

P - PRAY AND CONFESS YOUR SINS TO JESUS.
Pray and confess Him, Jesus, as your Lord and Saviour. With your heart, you believe in His saving grace, and with your own mouth, you must confess Him (Rom. 10:9-10).

E - EXPECT GOD TO FORGIVE YOUR SIN.
If you confess your sins, God is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Believe that He forgives you completely! (1 Jhn 1:9).

L - LET JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE AND LIVE A HOLY LIFE.
Ask Jesus to come into your heart. Surrender your life to Him. As many as receive Him into their hearts, He gives them the power, the right, to become sons, children of God. The way to become a child of God, born again, is to believe and receive Him into your heart. Let your children pray the sinner’s prayer after you and receive Jesus into their hearts (Jhn 1:12).

Receive grace to lead your children to the Lord in Jesus’ name.

ACTION POINTS
-Memorize the scriptures above with your children.

-Memorize the acronym with them. Turn it into a game. Children love fun and games. Make learning it interesting and fun.

PRAYER POINTS
-Lord, I pray that our children would be saved. Save our children, Lord.

-I join the army of the Lord to be used to lead children to You in Jesus’ name.

NUGGET

LET CHRIST BE FORMED IN THEM

GALATIANS 4:19 KJV
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

But dear parent, are you saved? Are you born again? Do you have a relationship with God? Do you have a daily personal prayer life? Do you study your Bible daily? Are you winning souls intentionally? See, if you truly have a relationship with God and are winning souls, you would want to ensure that your child’s soul is saved as well. How would it feel being in heaven and your children are in hell. Some persons might be in heaven and their joy would be full but not as full as it should have been because of their loved ones in hell, including their children. God forbid. Why should you be light in your home but your own children are darkness, possessed by demons, and may even be witches?

It is time to arise and pray for your children. Pray for their salvation. Cry to the Lord to reveal Himself to them; to save them; to deliver them from every bad character. Pray for them that they would love the Lord, know the Lord and walk with Him. If your children are initiated into witchcraft, don’t you think you would be their first victims. Parents or not, children witches have no mercy! They won’t have mercy on you because you are their parents. If they are asked to afflict, inflict pain or injury, or to bring blood, you will be their first victim! Join the kingdom of light to ensure your children do not become citizens of the kingdom of darkness. Pray for them that Christ be formed in them. Let Jesus live on their inside.

OTHER THINGS TO DO:
1. Give your older children books to read and let them summarize and share what they read with you. That means that you too must read the book along with them.

2. Buy a Bible for your child. I mean a hard copy Bible. The absence of Bibles in your home show a lack of love and eagerness for God and His word. Your children should stumble on Bibles you have read and marked. They should read the areas you have marked and be blessed. There are some teens who were asked how they started po*******hy. Guess how? They stumbled on blue films in their father’s laptops; on the discarded blue film CDs in the trash can when they went to empty it (the wild n**e pictures on its cover stirred their curiosity). They stumbled on a pl***oy magazine hidden in the last drawer of their father’s table under a pile of books. Why are they not stumbling on Bibles in our homes? Why do they hear worldly and erotic music more than they hear the word of God read from your lips? Why are they watching half-naked musicians twerking and grinding instead of being made to enjoy the word of God?

3. Get your children to watch age-appropriate Christian programmers – bible story cartoons, and other Children’s Christian shows. These programs present the word of God in fun and exciting ways. Hey, it’s time to wake up and fight for the destiny of your child. Receive grace to do this diligently in Jesus’ name.

ACTION POINT
-Read the above and obey!

PRAYER POINTS
-Lord, we pray for our children: let Christ be formed in them in Jesus’ name!

-We cover them with the blood of Jesus! They shall not be initiated into witchcraft, po*******hy, gangs or any other vice, evil or wickedness in Jesus’ name.

-We hand them over to You, Jesus! Use them, Lord, in Jesus’ name.

NUGGET

FULFILLING PURPOSE (John 18:37 KJV)

WEDNESDAY, 22ND JULY 2026
SPIRITUAL GIFTS (2)

1 TIMOTHY 4:14 KJV
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

A spiritual gift should not be confused with a talent. A talent is a natural ability a person is born with, while a spiritual gift is a grace given to a person by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of building up others and advancing God’s work.

Samson’s supernatural strength was a spiritual gift and not just a natural ability. The Holy Spirit gave him the gift from the womb and it manifested whenever the Holy Spirit stirred him up(Judg. 13:25, 15:14, 19). Your gift must glorify God.

Your gifts do not require a pulpit and you can have more than one. Some people have gifts that are very visible like the “nine gifts of the Spirit” in 1 Cor. 12:8-10 and the fivefold ministry gifts like apostles, teachers, evangelists, pastors and prophets (Eph. 4:11). But some have gifts that are quiet but very powerful like those in Rom 12:6-8.

A person who organizes the ministry may have the gift of administration. A person who encourages the discouraged may have the gift of exhortation. A person who sees a need and immediately responds may have the gift of helps or service. A person who gives generously may have the gift of giving. A person who shows extraordinary compassion may have the gift of mercy. A person who can explain complex truths simply, may have the gift of teaching. A person who can mobilize people toward a God-given vision may have the gift of leadership. These gifts do not need titles or an organized platform, but are spiritual gifts blessing lives (Rom. 12:6-8).

People hide or bury their gifts for various reasons – fear, criticism, they feel it is small, or are waiting for platform. You will give account of your gifting, so, use it to be a blessing.

ACTION POINTS
-Look for opportunities to use your gift.

-Send messages to someone, call someone, pray for someone. Whatever the gift is, use it.

PRAYER POINTS
-Lord, I thank You for my gift in Jesus’ name.

-I will not be timid or ashamed of my gift. I use it to your glory and to bless people around me with it in Jesus’ name.
