Sir Sunday Udo Akpan Ewet Housing Circuit, held an impactful Healing Communion Service on the first of February 2026.
The service was a powerful move of God as our dynamic Presbyter, Very Rev. Michael Eyo, ministered the Word on the topic “Living an Unmovable Life” (Psalm 15:5).
The service opened with a fervent prayer declaration:
“Any power assigned to move me from grace to grass, backfire in Jesus’ Name.”
The sermon emphasized that power is conquered by character, and that character serves as a spiritual structure and disciplinary guide. We were reminded that the church is a place where sinners come to seek God’s face through repentance and forgiveness, and that it is only in God’s presence that true transformation occurs.
Drawing from Psalm 15:1–5, the minister outlined the requirements for living an unmovable life, which include honest and righteous living, speaking and standing by the truth, avoiding slander, refusing to harm others, rejecting what God rejects, honouring those who fear God, and standing firm by one’s word.
It was a life-shaping message that called believers to steadfast character and godly living in order to remain unshaken in faith.
