TOPIC: THE PRESENCE OF GOD
TEXTS: Isaiah 60:22, Exodus 33:15

INTRODUCTION
Where the presence of God is, burdens are lifted, the sick are healed, the impossible becomes possible, and the mercy of God is revealed.
All our struggles find divine solutions in the presence of God. What we cannot accomplish through human strength, God can accomplish through His presence.
Psalm 23:4 reminds us that even in the valley of the shadow of death, we have nothing to fear because God is with us.

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE PRESENCE OF GOD
1. It breaks Chains. Acts 16:26
The presence of God has the power to break every chain, shatter limitations, and bring supernatural deliverance. When God steps into a situation, every prison door can be opened, and every chain can be broken.
2. It makes our enemies question their intentions.
Daniel 3:24
The presence of God can make our enemies question what they intended to do against us. What was meant for our destruction can become a testimony of God's power and faithfulness.
3. The presence of God is powerful. 2 Corinthians 3:17; Deuteronomy 28:7
4. It brings liberty: The presence of God brings freedom, victory, divine intervention, and supernatural preservation. When God is present, no opposition is greater than His power.

HOW TO ACCESS THE PRESENCE OF GOD
1. Through Genuine Prayer: Prayer creates an avenue for intimate fellowship and communion with God.
2. Through Worship and Praise: Worship draws our hearts closer to God, while praise acknowledges His greatness, faithfulness, and sovereignty.
3. Through the Word of God — Psalm 119:105
The Word of God illuminates our path, guides our decisions, and helps us remain conscious of His will and presence.
4. Through Holiness and Obedience: A life of holiness and obedience reflects our genuine desire to walk with God and remain in fellowship with Him.

TOPIC: OVERCOMING ACADEMIC HEARSAYS
Text: Numbers 13:31-33

INTRODUCTION
Before you even opened that textbook, someone had already told you the course was "impossible." Before you sat in that class, someone said the lecturer "fails everybody." How much of your academic life is being shaped not by your own experience, but by someone else's opinion or rumor?

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS
- Hearsay: information passed from person to person that hasn't been personally verified. It is a rumor, secondhand report, and unconfirmed talk.
- Academic hearsay: rumors specifically about courses, teachers, grading, or "how things work" that shape your expectations and effort before you've tested them yourself

DANGERS OF HEARSAY
- It plants fear before facts: you become afraid of something you haven't even experienced yet
- It kills effort before it starts: if you already believe you'll fail, you stop trying fully
- It's often exaggerated or false: one person's bad experience becomes "everyone's" reality
- It spreads faster than truth: a rumor about a "hard" course or "wicked" lecturer travels through a whole class in a day
- It robs you of your own testimony: you never find out what you were capable of, because you believed someone else's story instead of writing your own.

HOW TO OVERCOME ACADEMIC HEARSAY
- Verify before you internalize.
- Separate someone else's experience from your own potential.
- Bring your own "report" like Joshua and Caleb. Even in a hard class, decide what YOU will say about it
- Don't let a rumor determine your effort.
- Guard your circle: who you listen to shapes what you believe is possible

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON'T GUARD AGAINST HEARSAY
- You underperform in classes you were fully capable of passing, because you gave up before starting
- You avoid opportunities.
- Like the Israelites, hearsay can cost you an "inheritance" - a result, breakthrough, or destiny meant for you.
- You become someone who spreads discouragement to others instead of hope

BENEFITS OF REJECTING HEARSAY
- You approach every class or challenge with a clean slate and full effort
- You become a "Joshua and Caleb" who brings a good report and inspires others.
- Your confidence grows because your beliefs are based on truth and personal experience, not fear.

SUMMARY
Ten spies saw the same land and gave a bad report; two saw the same land and said, "We are well able." The difference wasn't the land; it was their faith versus their fear. Choose today to be a Joshua or Caleb, not a grasshopper.

TOPIC: IT IS YOUR SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL ADVANTAGE
TEXT: ISAIAH 45:2-3; GENESIS 39:21-23

MEMORY VERSE: DEUTERONOMY 28:7 - "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways."

CENTRAL TRUTH: When you host God, He handles what you cannot.

AIM: To help people see how God gives advantage that cannot be explained by effort alone, and how to position for it.

INTRODUCTION: See the week's devotional.
Supernatural advantage is God fighting for you while you stay faithful. It also happens when God's power, favour, and wisdom give you results that cannot be explained by effort, talent, or connection alone. It is God tilting things in your favour because you are in covenant with Him.

This is the favour that makes people see potential in you before you prove it. By reason of supernatural advantage, you do not need every door open; you need God to open the right one. When supernatural advantage is with you, the environment changes in your favour. Even in prison, Joseph had favour.

Hear this: skill can take you to the door; only supernatural advantage can make it open on its own. It is your season of supernatural advantage. Go ahead and experience it, enjoy it, and exploit it. Amen.

MAIN POINTS OF THE TEXT
Isaiah 45:2-3
- He levels mountains, opens doors, and gives hidden treasures.
- Advantage is proactive.

Genesis 39:21-23
"The Lord was with him."
Advantage follows presence and faithfulness.

Deuteronomy 28:7

Enemies rise one way and scatter seven ways.

God changes the odds, not just your strength.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. What is supernatural advantage?
It is God intervening in your natural situation to give you favour, direction, protection, and breakthrough.
You work, but God works through you and for you.
- It is God's preferential treatment.
- It is God opening doors you did not knock.

2. How does supernatural advantage work?
- Covenant-You are in Christ (Galatians 3:29). Advantage flows from relationship, not performance.
- Obedience Deuteronomy 28 begins with "if you faithfully obey." God blesses alignment.
- Dependence - Zechariah 4:6. You stop relying on what you see and start partnering with the Holy Spirit.
Positioning - Joseph and Daniel were faithful in small places. God promotes those who are trustworthy.
- Testimony - When it happens, it is clear it is God, so He gets the glory and others receive faith.

3. What does supernatural advantage look like?
Open doors - A conversation you did not arrange; a job interview you were not qualified for. It is not cheating, it is covenant.
Closed doors - Protection from a "good" opportunity that would have derailed you.
Favour with people - People supporting you for no natural reason.
Wisdom beyond your years - Saying or doing the right thing without formal training.
Protection-Missing accidents, betrayal, or collapse that others experience.

SUMMARY:
It is God making crooked places straight ahead of you (Isaiah 45:2).

TOPIC: ENJOYING DIVINE LIFTING
TEXT: Psalm 3:1-3, 1 Samuel 2:7-9

NOTE
- God is the only source of the believer's lifting, men are only channels.
- The season of divine lifting is the season of joy, divine supplies, favour, honour, change of levels, divine entrance or access to your ordained places etc.
The lifting of God is tied to His timing.
- The lifting of God is all encompassing (i.e. God does not only lift a man but He lifts, preserves and shields whoever He chooses per time to lift).
- Any man who expects the lifting of God must have been experiencing the low state of life or be limited in one area of life or the other.
- Divine lifting is not a function of our strength nor efforts but by the power of God (1 Sam.2:7-9).
- God often uses a season of trial, learning, or serving to prepare a person before the lifting happens (like Joseph in prison)--(Psalm 105:17-22).

WHAT'S DIVINE LIFTING?
1. Divine lifting simply means divine transition (i.e. a situation God moves a person from one level to a better level).

2. It is a time when God shows up to move a person from the state of obscurity, delay, or struggle to a position of honour, favour and influence.

WHY DIVINE LIFTING
1. To be God's representative or arm for another person's lifting.
2. To represent the kingdom effectively on earth.
3. To demonstrate His Mightiness against all odds.
4. To keep to His Word in a world full of lies.
5. To restore hope to others

ENEMIES OF DIVINE LIFTING
- Pride (Prov.16:18).
- Character bankruptcy: Godly character is what keeps a person at the top.
How long your lifting will last is dependent on your character when you are lifted.
- Compromise
- Ingratitude
- Wrong Association

HOW TO ACCESS DIVINE LIFTING
1. Total Obedience To Divine Instructions: The lifting of God has a connection with the instruction of God.

2. Consistent Prayer: Prayer is a necessity if divine lifting is expected to the believer because the adversary doesn't want the believer to experience a shift to a better level of life.
Prayer goes ahead to handles opposition and limiting Satanic forces.

3. The Attitude of Gratitude or Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving unlocks and lunches a person into the realm of supernatural breakthrough or lifting (Psalm 30:1).
- One of the reasons you need to thank God now is not necessarily to lift you but because He has lifted you already.
The truth is, this is not where you used to be, by doing so watch God lift you the more.

4. Maintain a lifestyle of humility and positive declaration (1 Peter 5:6, Job 22:29).

5. Identify With Christ Through Salvation ( John 1:12).
- The power that lifts a believer is the same power that saves.
- Until there is salvation, there can be no lifting for the believer.
- How an unbeliever changes level is different from how the believer does.
- The unbelievers has their source for their lifting and God is our source as believers ( Psalm 3:3).

6. Godly Relationships (2 Tim.4:11)
- We need men to experience the lifting of God.
- God has never left His throne to come down to lift a man but uses another man.
-;God uses men to lift men while Satan uses men to bring men down.
