Another wonderful fellowship Monday and guess what, since it’s the last monday of the month, it was our variety Monday.
We had series of activities from a blissful praise and worship session to unit presentations.

A book review was done by Sis. Charity Charles, the book title is “The art of laziness” by library mindset.

An interactive session was held by Bro Ekuyak on the topic “Dwelling on the past”. Youths present shared their past experiences and how they overcame not dwelling on those experiences and the positive impact of that.

It was really a blissful time in God’s presence today.

Excerpt from yesterday’s valentines feast.

It was an amazing event, we had the presence of our chaplain Ven. Gabriel Okonkwo and his wife, we also had the presence of Canon (Barr.) Zach. Nglass and wife, Rev. Uche Ogamba and wife, Rev. Samuel Eyo and our able speaker on the theme of the event, Mummy Beegail and other guests.

It began with a praise session which followed by a movie watch. It was an exciting movie to watch as it showed the importance of prayers before choosing a partner, the movie was titled “Redeeming love”.

We then moved to the exposition on the theme titled “love’s blueprint (building stronger relationships) by our speaker Mummy Beegail. She highlighted 5 key points for building stronger relationships which are
1. Foundation,
2. Framework,
3. Wiring,
4. Roofing, and
5. Maintenance.

A panel session was then held for different questions from youth and guests present on how to build stronger relationships. This panel session was handled by Our chaplain, Mummy Beegail and Canon Nglass who gave wonderful and satisfying answers to all questions asked.

The event ended with youths exchanging gifts with one another as a sign of love.
It was an exceptional event.

Excerpt from today’s fellowship.

It was an amazing time in fellowship today, the youths were given a ‘talk session” titled “How youths influence the brain reward system negatively and the effects” by Pharm. Chiedu Oyeka.
He gave an extended explanation on how the brain reacts to rewards as youths, it’s negative side and positive side too.
He also elaborated on why we as youths should be very cautious on peers we keep as that it influences our behaviors.

Time was also given to the youths to ask relevant questions which answers were also given to each question by the speaker.

It was really a good day to be in God’s presence.

Last slide is an event coming up this Sunday.

Fellowship in Christ Jesus!!!!
Another awesome Monday experience in the house of the lord as the youths from Cathedral church of all Saints fellowshipped together.

The topic Overcoming Addiction and negative influence was treated by the President of the youth fellowship. It was an interactive session as the youths present were taught the dangers of addiction and the need to not be a victim of the chronic condition.
