Has God Ever Revealed Himself?

Many remain troubled that God has not revealed Himself. But unknown to them He'd already done that more than two millennia ago through the person of Jesus Christ. There's no better way for any to know God in His true form, glory and consummate power than to understudy the man, Christ.

The scripture says plainly: "[Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation." (Colo 1:15 AMP).

The writer of Hebrews also says the following about Jesus Christ: " He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power..."_ (Heb. 1:3 AMP).

This week, Let's commit to knowing God more through the study of His word.🙏🏼

Miracles Confirm the Glory

Miraculous demonstrations of the power of God are often the revelation of God's glory and manifest presence. When Jesus heard that Lazarus his friend was sick and dying, knowing He was going to manifest the glory of God in the demonstration of God's resurrection power and bring him back to life, He was not perturbed at all. Instead, He simply said:

"...this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby." St. John 11:4.

Like Jesus, when we walk in the anointing, we are operating under the influence of the Glory of God. And when genuine miracles, signs and wonders take place in our crusades and Church services, they all confirm the availability of the glory and presence of God in our meetings. Men and brethren, let's go for the glory.🔥

Moses saw it all: the plagues, the Red Sea parting, and manna falling from heaven. Yet, for Moses, miracles weren't enough. While others were satisfied with God’s provisions and power, Moses was obsessed with God’s presence.

When God told Moses he had found favor, Moses didn't ask for more power, wealth, or influence. He made one singular, audacious request: "I beseech thee, show me thy glory." Exodus 33:18

Moses wanted the Source, not just the signs and my prayer is may we stop chasing the things which are temporary and start cleaving unto the eternal one

Scripture is clear: No one can see the face of God and live (Exodus 33:20). Yet, through Jesus Christ, the "image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15), we are given a direct window into the heart and glory of the Father.

​If you are longing for a deeper encounter with God this year, make it your mission to know His Son. He is the express image of God’s personality and the source of all power.
