Grace is not an excuse for irresponsibility. Grace is God's empowerment that enables us become and do what we could be or accomplish by our strength alone.
(1 Corthinthians 5:10).

Grace should make us diligent, trustworthy and excellent, not careless. Prayer for favour but develop competence. Colossians 3:33, Proverbs 32:29.
Grace does not eliminate spiritual discipline. We still have the responsibility to pray, study scripture, resist temptation, fellowship with believers and obey God. Grace supplies strength; but we must respond. Phillipians 2:12-13, Titus 2:11-12.
Grace is not a substitute for stewardship. Earn honesty, budget wisely, avoid unnecessary debt, save, give generously, and prepares for tomorrow by investing. Proverbs 21:5, 20; 2 Corinthians 9:8.
Grace teaches us to extend to others the mercy we ourselves have received. Guide your boundaries, choose your association wisely and refuse bitterness. Ephesians 4:31-32, Proverbs 24:30.
The balance is simple, Grace provides; responsibility responds.Grace empowers; responsibility acts.Grace open doors, responsibility prepares us to walk through them.
