Today, August 12, we join the world to celebrate International Youth Day.

To every Catholic Youth in Uyo Diocese and beyond, we say Happy Youth Day!

This year, our charge to you is simple and strong:

DON'T WASTE YOUR YOUTH.
LEARN SOMETHING
BUILD SOMETHING
SERVE SOMEONE
BECOME SOMEONE

Your youth is not a waiting period, it is a building period. It is the time to learn, to grow in faith, to acquire skills, to serve God and humanity, and to become the person God has destined you to be.

As CYONites, let us not waste this grace of youthfulness. Let us use it for God, for the Church, and for society.

NOTICE FOR GENERAL MEETING

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Executives and members of CYON Anua Deanery are hereby invited to attend the General Meeting scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: Saturday, 1st August, 2026
Time:10:00 AM prompt
Venue:St. Peter Parish, Ifa Ikot Obong.

Dress code
National Uniform.
Deanery polo,Diocesan polo or plain white long sleeves shirt with either black skirts or Trousers and Black Shoes.
Strict Compliance is expected.

Also, attendance of Mass is Mandatory for everyone.

Your presence and punctuality are greatly encouraged, as your input will be valuable to our discussions and collective decision-making for the growth of the Deanery.
